< 2 Korintofo 7 >
1 Me nnamfo pa, wɔahyɛ yɛn saa bɔ yi nyinaa. Enti momma yɛntew yɛn ho mfi biribiara a egu ɔhonam anaa ɔkra no ho fi ho na yɛntena ase wɔ Onyankopɔn mu mfa ntew yɛn ho kronkron.
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every pollution of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2 Mummue mo koma mu mma yɛn. Yɛnyɛɛ obiara bɔne. Yensisii obiara na yetwaa obiara dwow nso.
Regard us cordially; we have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have made gain by no one.
3 Merenka saa asɛm yi mfa ngu mo anim ase. Sɛnea madi kan aka no, yɛdɔ mo nti daa sɛ yewu o, yɛte ase o, yɛbata mo ho.
I do not say this to condemn you; for I have said before, that you are in our hearts, so that we could die with you, and live with you.
4 Migye mo di nti mede mo hoahoa me ho. Yɛn haw nyinaa mu no, mempaa abaw ɛ. Mede ahosɛpɛw retu mmirika no.
Great is my plainness of speech to you, great is my boasting of you; I am filled with comfort, I am exceedingly joyful in all our affliction.
5 Mpo yeduu Makedonia no, yɛanhome. Na ɔhaw abunkam hɔnom, akasakasa wɔ wɔn ntam na ehu ahyɛ yɛn so.
For when we came into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest; but we were oppressed on every side: without were battles, within were fears.
6 Onyankopɔn a ɔhyɛ wɔn a wɔpa abaw den no nam Tito ba a ɔbae no so hyɛɛ yɛn den.
But God, who comforts those who are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
7 Ɛnyɛ ne ba a ɔbae no nko, na mmom ka a ɔbɛkaa se mohyɛɛ no nkuran no. Ɔkaa sɛnea mopɛ sɛ muhu me no kyerɛɛ me. Ɔkaa sɛnea mudii yaw ne sɛnea na moasiesie mo ho sɛ mobɛbɔ me ho ban no; enti mprempren, ama mʼani agye sen kan no.
and not only by his coming, but also by the consolation with which he was comforted in you when he told us of your strong affection, your grief, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced the more.
8 Sɛ me krataa a mekyerɛw mo no hyɛɛ mo awerɛhow a, ɛnyɛ me yaw sɛ mekyerɛwee. Mfiase no ɛhaw me nanso mprempren de, ɛnhaw me. Minim sɛ krataa no mu nsɛm how mo werɛ bere tiaa bi.
For although I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it, though I did regret it. For I see that the same letter gave you sorrow, though but for a short time.
9 Nanso mprempren de, mʼani agye; ɛnyɛ sɛ memaa mo werɛ howee no nti, na mmom sɛ mo awerɛhow no ama moasesa mo akwan. Onyankopɔn na ɔmaa mo werɛ howee enti yɛn de, yɛanhaw mo.
Now I rejoice not that you were made sorry, but that you sorrowed in order to repentance. For you sorrowed in a way acceptable to God, that you might in nothing receive injury from us.
10 Awerɛhow a Onyankopɔn de baa mo so no nti, moanya ahonu bi a ɛnam so de mo bɛkɔ nkwagye mu; enti ɛnsɛ sɛ ɛyɛ mo yaw. Nanso awerɛhow a wiase de brɛ yɛn no de, ɛde owu na ɛba.
For godly sorrow works repentance not to be regretted, which leads to salvation: but the sorrow of the world works death.
11 Monhwɛ nea Onyankopɔn nam how a ɔmaa mo werɛ how no so ayɛ. Mopɛ sɛ mufi mo koma mu kyerɛ sɛ munni fɔ. Mo bo afuw. Mo ho adwiriw mo. Mo ho pere mo pɛ sɛ muhu sɛ atɛntrenee ayɛ adwuma. Moakyerɛ sɛ mudi bem wɔ asɛm yi ho.
For behold this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner; what earnestness it produced in you; what defense of yourselves; what indignation; what fear; what strong affection; what zeal; what assertion of right. In all respects you have shown yourselves to be blameless in this matter.
12 Ɛwɔ mu sɛ mekyerɛw saa krataa no de, nanso ɛnyɛ obi a ɔyɛ bɔne anaa obi a wɔyɛ no bɔne nti na mekyerɛwee. Na mmom sɛnea mo ankasa mubehu ɔkwan a moafa so atu mo ho asi hɔ ama yɛn wɔ Onyankopɔn anim no.
Therefore, though I wrote to you, it was not on account of him who did the wrong, nor on account of him who received the wrong; but that our diligent care for you, in the sight of God, might be made manifest to you.
13 Ɛno na ɛhyɛ yɛn nkuran no. Ɛnyɛ nkuran a ɛhyɛɛ yɛn no nko. Tito nso nam gye a mugyee no maa nʼani gyee no so maa yɛn nso yɛn ani gyei.
For this reason, we have been comforted by means of your comfort: and we rejoiced exceedingly more indeed, on account of the joy of Titus, for his spirit was refreshed by you all.
14 Mede mo ahoahoa me ho akyerɛ no na moanni me nhuammɔ. Daa yɛka nokware kyerɛ mo na hoa a mede mo hoahoa me ho kyerɛ Tito no nso aba mu.
For if I boasted of you to him, in any respect, I am not made ashamed; but as I have spoken all things to you in truth, so also has our boasting to Titus been found to be truth:
15 Enti sɛ ɔkae sɛnea mo nyinaa pɛɛ sɛ moyɛ osetie ma no na mode obu ne nidi gyee no fɛw so no a, ɛhyɛ ɔdɔ a ɔdɔ mo no mu den.
and his affection for you is the more abundant, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling.
16 Ɛyɛ me anigye sɛ metumi de me ho nyinaa ato mo so.
I rejoice that I have confidence in you in all things.
