< 2 Korintofo 4 >
1 Onyankopɔn nam nʼadom so de saa asɛm yi abrɛ yɛn na ɛno nti ɛmma yɛn koma ntutu.
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we do not faint.
2 Yɛagyae kokoamsɛm ne aniwu nneyɛe nyinaa. Yɛnnaadaa na yentwa Onyankopɔn asɛm no ho nkontompo. Yɛnnaadaa obi mma onnye nea Kyerɛwsɛm no nkae no nni. Yegyaee saa aniwude no nyinaa. Yegyina Onyankopɔn anim kasa nti yɛka nokware ma wɔn a wonim yɛn no nyinaa gye di.
But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
3 Sɛ Asɛmpa a yɛka no yɛ ahintasɛm a, ɛyɛ ahintasɛm ma wɔn a wɔreyera.
Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing;
4 Wonnye nni, efisɛ ɔbonsam asɛe wɔn adwene. Ɔtwe wɔn fi hann a ɛhyerɛn wɔ wɔn so no ho; hann a efi Asɛmpa no mu a ɛfa Kristo a ɔte sɛ Onyankopɔn anuonyam no ho no. (aiōn )
in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so they would not see the light of the glorious Good News of Christ, who is the image of God. (aiōn )
5 Ɛnyɛ yɛn ankasa ho na yɛka asɛm no fa. Yɛka Yesu Kristo ho asɛm sɛ ɔno ne Awurade no na yɛn nso Yesu nti, yɛyɛ mo asomfo.
For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves because of Jesus.
6 Onyankopɔn a ɔkae se, “Hann mfi sum mu nhyerɛn” no, ɔno na wahyerɛn wɔ yɛn koma mu ama yɛanya Onyankopɔn anuonyam ho nimdeɛ wɔ Yesu Kristo mu.
For it is God, who spoke for light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
7 Yɛte sɛ nkuku a wɔde agyapade asie mu. Tumi ankasa no fi Onyankopɔn na emfi yɛn.
But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.
8 Yɛtaa hu amane, nanso wɔnsɛee yɛn. Mpo sɛ yenhu nea yɛnyɛ a yɛmpa abaw.
We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;
9 Amane mu, Onyankopɔn ka yɛn ho, na sɛ wɔbɔ yɛn hwe fam a yɛsɔre bio.
pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;
10 Mmere nyinaa yɛn nipadua no soa Yesu wu a owui no, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a nʼabrabɔ bɛda adi wɔ yɛn mu.
always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11 Yɛn asetena mu nyinaa, Yesu nti, yɛte hɔ ma owu, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a nʼabrabɔ bɛda adi wɔ yɛn nipadua a ewu no mu.
For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.
12 Eyi kyerɛ sɛ owu di ne dwuma wɔ yɛn mu na nkwa nso di ne dwuma wɔ mo mu.
So then death works in us, but life in you.
13 Kyerɛwsɛm no ka se, “Mekasae, efisɛ na migye di.” Saa honhom mu gyidi no ara so na ɛma yɛn nso yɛkasa, efisɛ yegye di.
But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, "I believed, and therefore I spoke." We also believe, and therefore also we speak;
14 Yenim sɛ Onyankopɔn a ɔmaa Awurade Yesu sɔre fii awufo mu no bɛma yɛne Yesu asɔre na ɔde yɛn abɛka mo ho wɔ nʼanim.
knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus, and will present us with you.
15 Mo nti na eyinom bɛba mu; na sɛnea Onyankopɔn adom no redu nnipa bebree nkyɛn no, saa ara nso na wɔbɛbɔ mpae ada Onyankopɔn ase de ahyɛ no anuonyam.
For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
16 Esiane eyi nti, yɛn koma ntutu. Ɛwɔ mu sɛ yɛn nipadua no reporɔw nkakrankakra de, nanso yɛn honhom no de, ɛsesa yɛ foforo da biara.
Therefore we do not become discouraged, but even though our outer nature is wearing away, yet our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
17 Na saa ɔhaw kakra a yɛfa mu no de anuonyam a enni awiei a ɛboro saa ɔhaw no so no bɛbrɛ yɛn. (aiōnios )
For this momentary light affliction is working for us a far more exceeding and everlasting weight of glory; (aiōnios )
18 Yɛmfa yɛn adwene nkɔ nneɛma a yehu so, na mmom, nneɛma a yenhu so na yɛde yɛn adwene kɔ. Nea wotumi hu no ntena hɔ nkyɛ, nanso nea wontumi nhu no tena hɔ daa. (aiōnios )
while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are everlasting. (aiōnios )
