< 2 Korintofo 3 >
1 Eyi kyerɛ sɛ yɛrehoahoa yɛn ho bio ana? Anaasɛ yehia adansedi nkrataa a efi yɛn nkyɛn anaa mo nkyɛn sɛnea afoforo hia no ana?
Are we beginning again to recommend ourselves? Or do we need, like some others, letters of recommendation to you, or letters of recommendation from you?
2 Mo ankasa moyɛ krataa a ɛwɔ yɛn nkyɛn a wɔakyerɛw wɔ yɛn koma mu sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a obiara behu na wakenkan.
Ye are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men;
3 Mote sɛ krataa a Kristo nam yɛn som so akyerɛw. Ɛnyɛ adubiri na wɔde kyerɛw no ɔbo pon so na mmom Onyankopɔn a ɔte ase no Honhom na wɔde kyerɛw guu nnipa koma mu.
since ye are manifestly shown to be a letter of Christ by means of our service, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not on tablets of stone, but on fleshly tablets of the heart.
4 Saa ahotoso yi na yɛnam Kristo so anya wɔ Onyankopɔn fam.
And such confidence as this have we through Christ toward God;
5 Biribiara nni yɛn mu a ebetumi ama yɛasi yɛn bo aka se yebetumi ayɛ saa adwuma yi. Ahoɔden a yɛwɔ no fii Onyankopɔn.
not that we are able of ourselves to think anything, as from ourselves; but our ability is from God;
6 Ɔno na wama yɛn afata sɛ NʼApam Foforo ho asomfo. Efi Honhom Kronkron no na emfi mmara a wɔakyerɛw. Mmara de owu ba na Honhom no ne nea ɛma nkwa.
who also gave us ability to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life.
7 Mmara a ɛde owu bae no, na wɔakyerɛw no ɔbo pon so, nanso anuonyam a na ekura no nti nnipa no antumi anhwɛ Mose anim. Mose anuonyam hyerɛnee nanso saa anuonyam no dumii.
But if the ministration of death, engraven in letters on stones, was so glorious, that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses by reason of the glory of his countenance, which glory was to be done away,
8 Enti apam a Honhom no de ba no rennya anuonyam mmoroso ana?
shall not the ministration of the Spirit be much more glorious?
9 Sɛ mmara a ɛde owu ba no wɔ anuonyam a, ɛno de nea ɛma yɛteɛ wɔ Onyankopɔn anim no rennya anuonyam a ɛboro so ana?
For if the ministration of condemnation had glory, much greater is the glory of the ministration of righteousness.
10 Nokware mu, Apam Foforo no anuonyam mmoroso nti, mmara a ɛde owu ba no anuonyam ayera.
For even that which was made glorious hath ceased to be glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory by which it is exceeded.
11 Na sɛ anuonyam wɔ biribi a ɛnkyɛ mu a, ade a ɛwɔ hɔ daa no anuonyam bɛyɛ nea ɛso yiye.
For if that which was to be done away was glorious, much more glorious is that which endureth.
12 Esiane sɛ yɛwɔ saa anidaso yi nti, yɛwɔ akokoduru.
Having therefore such hope, we use great plainness of speech;
13 Yɛnte sɛ Mose a ɔde nkataanim kataa nʼanim sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a Israelfo no renhu nea ɛretwa mu no awiei.
and do not as Moses did, who put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel might not steadfastly look on the end of that which was to be done away.
14 Nanso ntease a wɔannya no nti besi nnɛ yi, sɛ wɔkenkan Apam Dedaw nhoma no a, saa nkataanim no da so kata wɔn adwene so. Ansa na nkataanim no befi hɔ no, gye sɛ wogye Kristo di.
But their understandings were blinded; for until this day, when the old covenant is read, the same veil remaineth, since it is not unveiled to them that it is done away in Christ;
15 Nnɛ yi mpo, bere biara a wɔbɛkenkan Mose mmara no, nkataanim no da so kata wɔn koma so.
but even till this day, when Moses is read, there lieth a veil upon their heart;
16 Nanso sɛ obi gye Awurade di a woyi nkataanim no fi hɔ.
but whenever it turneth to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17 Na Awurade ne Honhom no, na baabiara a Awurade Honhom wɔ no ahotɔ wɔ hɔ.
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 Yɛn a nkataanim biara nkata yɛn anim no, Awurade anuonyam hyerɛn wɔ yɛn anim, na Awurade Honhom no sakra yɛn kɔ nʼanuonyam mu.
But we all with unveiled face beholding in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, as by the Lord, the Spirit.
