< 1 Timoteo 6 >
1 Ɛsɛ sɛ wɔn a wɔyɛ asomfo no nyinaa de nidi ma wɔn wuranom sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a wɔn mu bi nkasa ntia Onyankopɔn ne yɛn nkyerɛkyerɛ.
Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of YHWH and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
2 Ɛnsɛ sɛ asomfo bu wɔn wuranom a wɔyɛ agyidifo no abomfiaa sɛ wɔyɛ anuanom nti. Mmom ɛsɛ sɛ wɔsom wɔn yiye, efisɛ wɔn som no so wɔ mfaso ma agyidifo ne adɔfo bebree.
And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
3 Ɛsɛ sɛ mokyerɛkyerɛ na moka eyinom nyinaa. Obiara a ɔbɛma nkyerɛkyerɛ foforo na ɔnka nokware a ɛfa yɛn Awurade Yesu Kristo ne yɛn nyamesom ho no
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Master Yahushua the Messiah, and to the doctrine which is according to reverence;
4 yɛ ɔhantanni a onnim hwee. Ɔyɛ obi a ofi adwemmɔne mu gye akyinnye na ɔka nsɛm a ɛde anibere, akasakasa, kasafi, nnipa ho adwemmɔne
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 ne mansotwe a efi adwene a emu nnɔ na nokware nni mu mu ba. Wodwen sɛ nyamesom yɛ ɔkwan bi a wɔfa so pɛ sika.
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is righteousness: from such withdraw thyself.
6 Onyamesom pa a abodwo wɔ mu yɛ adenya kɛse.
But reverence with contentment is great gain.
7 Yɛamfa hwee amma wiase. Saa ara nso na yɛremfa hwee nkɔ.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 Ɛno nti sɛ yɛwɔ aduan ne ntama a, ɛno nko dɔɔso ma yɛn.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 Wɔn a wɔpɛ sɛ wonya wɔn ho no kɔtɔ sɔhwɛ mu na ɛdan ɔhaw ma wɔn ma ɛtwe wɔn kɔ ɔsɛe mu.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 Na sikanibere yɛ bɔne nyinaa ntin. Nnipa bi de sikanibere asi wɔn ani so denneennen nam so ama wɔapa wɔn gyidi ama awerɛhow ahyɛ wɔn koma ma.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 Enti wo a woyɛ Onyankopɔn nipa no, twe wo ho fi eyinom nyinaa ho. Di trenee, Onyamesom pa, gyidi, ɔdɔ, boasetɔ ne odwo akyi.
But thou, O man of YHWH, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, reverence, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Bɔ gyidi mu mmirikatu no ho mmɔden na pere nya nkwa a enni awiei no ma wo ho, efisɛ saa abrabɔ yi nti na bere a wodaa wo gyidi adi wɔ nnansefo bebree anim no, Onyankopɔn frɛɛ wo. (aiōnios )
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
13 Meka no Onyankopɔn a ɔma nneɛma nyinaa nkwa no ne Kristo Yesu a ɔkaa nokware wɔ Pontio Pilato anim no hyɛ wo sɛ,
I give thee charge in the sight of YHWH, who quickeneth all things, and before the Messiah Yahushua, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 tie mmara a mahyɛ ama wo no na di so pɛpɛɛpɛ kosi da a Yesu Kristo bɛba.
That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Master Yahushua the Messiah:
15 Onyankopɔn a wɔahyira no na ne nkutoo di Hene, Ahene mu Hene ne Awura mu Awurade no bɛma no aba bere a ɛsɛ mu.
Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Master of masters;
Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. (aiōnios )
17 Bɔ wiase yi mu ahonyafo kɔkɔ se wɔmmfa wɔn ahonya nhoahoa wɔn ho, na wɔmmfa wɔn anidaso nso nhyɛ adehunu te sɛ ahonya mu, na mmom wɔmfa wɔn ho nto Onyankopɔn a ɔnam nʼadɔe so maa yɛn asetena mu nneɛma pa nyinaa no so. (aiōn )
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living Elohim, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (aiōn )
18 Hyɛ wɔn sɛ wɔnyɛ papa na wɔnyɛ adefo wɔ nnwuma payɛ mu. Wɔnyɛ ayamye na wɔne afoforo nkyɛ nea wɔwɔ.
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
19 Sɛ wɔyɛ saa a, wɔbɛto fapem pa ama wɔn daakye. Na wɔnam so anya asetena pa.
Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 Timoteo, hwɛ nea wɔde ahyɛ wo nsa no so yiye. Twe wo ho fi ahuhusɛm ne akyinnyehunu a wɔnam atoro so frɛ no “Nimdeɛ” no ho.
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21 Nnipa bi gye to mu sɛ wɔwɔ saa nimdeɛ no nam so ahwere gyidi kwan no. Onyankopɔn adom nka mo.
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Favour be with thee.
