< 1 Tesalonikafo 3 >
1 Akyiri yi a yehuu sɛ yɛyɛ ho hwee a ɛnyɛ yie no, yɛyɛɛ yɛn adwene sɛ yɛbɛtena Atene.
Wherefore, no longer concealing our anxiety, we were well-pleased to be left in Athens, alone,
2 Enti yɛsomaa yɛn nua Timoteo a yɛne no yɛ Onyankopɔn adwuma no sɛ ɔnkɔka Asɛmpa a ɛfa Kristo ho mfa mmoa nhyɛ mo gyidi den,
And sent Timothy—our brother, and God’s minister in the glad-message of the Christ—that he might confirm and console you over your faith,
3 sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a ɔtaa no nti mo mu biara remmɔ hu. Mo ara munim sɛ saa ɔtaa no yɛ Onyankopɔn pɛ a wahyehyɛ ama yɛn.
That, no one, might be shrinking back in these tribulations. For ye, yourselves, know, that, hereunto, are we appointed;
4 Bere a na yɛne mo wɔ hɔ no, yedii kan ka kyerɛɛ mo se wɔbɛtaa yɛn; na sɛnea munim no na aba mu saa pɛpɛɛpɛ no.
For, even when we were with you, we told you beforehand—we are destined to suffer tribulation! even as it also came to pass, and ye know.
5 Eyi nti esiane sɛ na asɛm no hyɛ me so nti, mesomaa Timoteo se ɔmmɛhwɛ sɛnea mo gyidi te. Mewɔ anidaso sɛ ɔbonsam ansɔ mo anhwɛ amma dwuma a yɛadi no nyinaa anyɛ ɔkwa.
For this cause, I also, no longer concealing my anxiety, sent, that I might get to know your faith, lest by any means he that tempteth, should have tempted you, and, in vain, should have been our toil.
6 Afei, Timoteo afi mo nkyɛn aba yɛn nkyɛn abɛka anigyesɛm a ɛfa mo gyidi ne mo dɔ ho asɛm akyerɛ yɛn. Waka akyerɛ yɛn se, daa modwene yɛn ho adwene pa na mopɛ sɛ muhu yɛn, sɛnea yɛn nso yɛpɛ sɛ yehu mo no ara pɛ.
But, when, just now, Timothy came unto us, from you, and brought us good tidings of your faith and love, —and that ye have good remembrance of us, continually, longing to see, us, —even as, we also, to see you,
7 Enti yɛn haw ne yɛn amanehunu no mu no, moahyɛ yɛn nkuran,
For this cause, were we consoled, brethren, over you, in all our necessity and tribulation, through your faith;
8 efisɛ sɛ mugyina pintinn wɔ Awurade mu a, na ɛma yɛn nso yetumi gyina biribiara ano wɔ yɛn asetena mu.
Because, now, we live, —if only, ye, stand fast in the Lord.
9 Ɛsɛ sɛ yɛda Onyankopɔn ase ma mo. Mo nti, yɛda Onyankopɔn ase sɛ moama yɛn ho asɛpɛw yɛn wɔ nʼanim.
For what thanksgiving can we render back, unto God, concerning you, on occasion of all the joy wherewith we rejoice, for your sakes, before our God?—
10 Daa awia ne anadwo, yefi yɛn koma nyinaa mu srɛ no sɛ, ɔmma yɛne mo nhyia na yɛmma mo nea ehia mo wɔ mo gyidi mu.
Night and day, making very abundant entreaties, that we may see your face, and fit in the things which are lacking in your faith?
11 Ɔno ara yɛn Nyankopɔn ne Agya no ankasa ne yɛn Awurade Yesu Kristo nsiesie ɔkwan na yɛmmra mo nkyɛn.
Now may, our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus, make straight our way unto you:
12 Awurade mma mo dɔ mu nyɛ den mmoro so wɔ mo ho mo ho ne afoforo mu, sɛnea yɛn nso yɛdɔ mo no.
And, you, may the Lord cause to abound and excel in your love one toward another, and toward all, —even as, we, do toward you:
13 Mebɔ mpae sɛ Awurade ne ne nkurɔfo nyinaa ba a, ɔbɛma mo koma mu ayɛ kronkron a nkekae biara nni mu wɔ Agya Nyankopɔn anim.
To the end he may confirms your hearts, faultless in holiness, before our God and Father, in the Presence of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.
