< 1 Petro 4 >

1 Esiane sɛ Kristo huu amane wɔ ne honam mu nti, munso saa adwene koro no ara mu mfa nhyɛ mo ho den. Efisɛ nea wahu amane wɔ ɔhonam mu no ne bɔne nni biribiara yɛ.
Therefore, since Messiah suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
2 Efi mprempren rekɔ no, mo nna a aka wɔ asase so ha no, ɛsɛ sɛ Onyankopɔn na odi mo abrabɔ so na ɛnyɛ onipa akɔnnɔ.
that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
3 Moasɛe mmere bebree de ayɛ nea anka ɛsɛ sɛ abosonsomfo na wɔyɛ. Motenaa ase wɔ ahohwi, akɔnnɔbɔne, nsabow, agobɔne, didimee ne abosonsom a ɛyɛ akyiwade mu.
For we have spent enough of our past time doing the desire of the Gentiles, and having walked in lewdness, lusts, drunken binges, orgies, carousings, and abominable idolatries.
4 Mprempren ɛyɛ wɔn nwonwa sɛ mo ne wɔn mmɔ mu mmu ahuhubra no bio, ɛno nti wɔyeyaw mo.
They think it is strange that you don’t run with them into the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you.
5 Nanso wobebu ho akontaa akyerɛ Onyankopɔn a wasiesie ne ho bu ateasefo ne awufo atɛn no.
They will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
6 Saa nti na wɔkaa Asɛmpa no kyerɛɛ awufo, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a sɛ wogyina wɔn asetena yi mu nneyɛe so bu wɔn atɛn a wɔn honhom ne Onyankopɔn bɛtena.
For to this end the Good News was preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed as men in the flesh, but live as to God in the spirit.
7 Biribiara awiei abɛn. Ɛsɛ sɛ mohyɛ mo ho so na mowɛn na moatumi abɔ mpae.
But the end of all things is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self-controlled, and sober in prayer.
8 Eyi akyi no, monnodɔ mo ho yiye, efisɛ ɔdɔ bunkam bɔne nyinaa so.
And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.
9 Munnye mo ho mo ho ahɔho wɔ mo afi mu a anwiinwii biara nni mu.
Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.
10 Obiara nnyina Honhom mu adom a wanya no so mfa nsom afoforo.
As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.
11 Sɛ obi reka asɛm a, ɔnka Onyankopɔn asɛm. Obiara a ɔsom no, mfa ahoɔden a Onyankopɔn de ma no no nsom sɛnea biribiara mu no, wɔbɛfa Yesu Kristo so akamfo Onyankopɔn a anuonyam ne tumi wɔ no daadaa no. Amen. (aiōn g165)
If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Yeshua the Messiah, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 Anuanom, mommma amane a morehu no nyɛ mo nwonwa te sɛ nea montee so asɛm da.
Beloved, don’t be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you.
13 Na mmom, momma mo ani nnye sɛ mo ne Kristo rehu amane sɛnea mo ani begye daa, da a ɔbɛda nʼanuonyam adi no.
But because you are partakers of Messiah’s sufferings, rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy.
14 Nhyira nka mo sɛ moyɛ Kristo akyidifo nti wɔyaw mo. Eyi kyerɛ sɛ anuonyam honhom a ɛyɛ Onyankopɔn Honhom no wɔ mo so.
If you are insulted for the name of Messiah, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.
15 Ɛnsɛ sɛ mo mu biara hu amane sɛ owudifo anaa owifo anaa odwotwafo anaa ɔsɛmpɛfo.
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil doer, or a meddler in other men’s matters.
16 Na sɛ muhu amane wɔ mo Kristosom mu a, mommma mo ani nnwu, na mmom, monna Onyankopɔn ase sɛ moyɛ Kristo de.
But if one of you suffers for being a Messianic, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this matter.
17 Bere adu sɛ wobu atɛn, na Onyankopɔn no ara nkurɔfo na wobedi kan abu wɔn atɛn. Na sɛ efi yɛn so kan a, ebewie Asɛmpa no ho asoɔdenfo no dɛn?
For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don’t obey the Good News of God?
18 Kyerɛwsɛm no ka se, “Ɛyɛ den sɛ wobegye onipa pa nkwa; na wɔn a wonnye asɛm no nni ne nnebɔneyɛfo no de, dɛn na ɛbɛba wɔn so?”
“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will happen to the ungodly and the sinner?”
19 Ne saa nti, ɛsɛ sɛ wɔn a wohu amane sɛnea Onyankopɔn ahyehyɛ no de wɔn ho ma Ɔbɔade no na wɔkɔ so yɛ papa.
Therefore let them also who suffer according to the will of God in doing good entrust their souls to him, as to a faithful Creator.
