< 1 Yohane 5 >

1 Obiara a ogye di sɛ Yesu yɛ Agyenkwa no yɛ Onyankopɔn ba. Na obiara a ɔdɔ Agya no dɔ ne mma no nso.
Everyone who is believing that Jesus is the Christ has been begotten of God, and everyone who is loving Him who begot, also loves him who is begotten of Him.
2 Eyi na ɛma yehu sɛ yɛdɔ Onyankopɔn mma; sɛ yɛbɛdɔ Onyankopɔn na yɛadi nʼahyɛde so.
In this we know that we love the children of God, when we may love God and may keep His commands;
3 Ɔdɔ a yɛdɔ Onyankopɔn no kyerɛ di a yedi nʼahyɛde so. Na nʼahyɛde no nso sodi nyɛ den mma yɛn,
for this is the love of God, that we may keep His commands, and His commands are not burdensome;
4 efisɛ Onyankopɔn ba biara tumi di wiase so. Yɛnam yɛn gyidi so di wiase so nkonim.
because everyone who is begotten of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcame the world—our faith.
5 Hena na obetumi adi wiase so? Obi a ogye di sɛ Yesu yɛ Onyankopɔn Ba no nko ara.
Who is he who is overcoming the world, if not he who is believing that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 Yesu Kristo yɛ obi a ɔnam nsu ne mogya so bae. Ɛnyɛ nsu nko so na ɔnam bae na mmom, nsu ne mogya. Na ɛyɛ Honhom no na edi ho adanse efisɛ Honhom no ne nokware no.
This One is He who came through water and blood—Jesus the Christ, not in water only, but in the water and the blood; and the Spirit is the [One] testifying, because the Spirit is the truth,
7 Nnansefo baasa na wɔwɔ hɔ.
because [there] are three who are testifying [[in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one;
8 Honhom no, nsu no ne mogya no. Saa nnansefo yi adwene hyia.
and [there] are three who are testifying in the earth]]: the Spirit, and the water, and the blood, and the three are into the one.
9 Yegye adanse a nnipa di no di; nanso adanse a Onyankopɔn di no mu yɛ den yiye. Na saa adanse no na Onyankopɔn adi afa ne Ba no ho.
If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, because this is the testimony of God that He has testified concerning His Son.
10 Enti obi a ogye Onyankopɔn Ba no di no agye saa adanse yi adi wɔ ne koma mu. Na obi a onnye Onyankopɔn nni no ama Onyankopɔn ayɛ ɔtorofo, efisɛ wannye adanse a Onyankopɔn di faa ne Ba no ho no anni.
He who is believing in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; he who is not believing God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning His Son;
11 Eyi ne adanse no: Onyankopɔn ama yɛn nkwa a enni awiei; na saa nkwa no wɔ ne Ba no mu. (aiōnios g166)
and this is the testimony, that God gave continuous life to us, and this life is in His Son; (aiōnios g166)
12 Obiara a ɔwɔ Ɔba no wɔ saa nkwa no, na obiara a onni Ɔba no nni nkwa no.
he who is having the Son has life; he who is not having the Son of God does not have life.
13 Merekyerɛw mo a mugye Onyankopɔn Ba no din di no eyi sɛnea ɛbɛma moahu sɛ mowɔ nkwa a enni awiei. (aiōnios g166)
I wrote these things to you who are believing in the Name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have continuous life, and that you may believe in the Name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)
14 Na anidaso a yɛwɔ wɔ Onyankopɔn anim ne sɛ, yenim sɛ biribiara a yebisa no wɔ ne pɛ mu no, otie yɛn.
And this is the boldness that we have toward Him, that if we may ask anything according to His will, He hears us,
15 Bere biara a yebisa no no, otie yɛn. Yɛahu sɛ eyi yɛ nokware yi, yenim nso sɛ ɔma yɛn nea yebisa no biara.
and if we have known that He hears us, whatever we may ask, we have known that we have the requests that we have requested from Him.
16 Sɛ obi hu sɛ ne nua ayɛ bɔne bi a ɛmfa no nkɔ owu mu a, ɔmmɔ Onyankopɔn a ɔbɛma no nkwa no mpae mma no. Eyi fa wɔn a wɔn bɔne mfa wɔn nkɔ owu mu no ho. Bɔne bi wɔ hɔ a ɛde onipa kɔ owu mu na ɛno ho de, menka sɛ mommɔ ho mpae nkyerɛ Onyankopɔn.
If anyone may see his brother sinning a sin [that is] not to death, he will ask, and He will give life to him—to those not sinning to death; there is sin to death—I do not say that he may ask concerning it;
17 Afideyɛ nyinaa yɛ bɔne, nanso bɔne bi wɔ hɔ a enkowie owu mu.
all unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin [that is] not to death.
18 Yenim sɛ Onyankopɔn ba biara nkɔ so nyɛ bɔne, efisɛ Onyankopɔn Ba no bɔ wɔn ho ban, na ɔbonsam ntumi nyɛ wɔn bɔne.
We have known that everyone who has been begotten of God does not sin, but He who was begotten of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him;
19 Yenim sɛ yɛyɛ Onyankopɔn mma, na wiasefo de wɔhyɛ ɔbonsam tumi ase.
we have known that we are of God, and the whole world lies [under the power] of the evil [one];
20 Yenim sɛ Onyankopɔn Ba no aba, na wama yɛahu nokware Nyankopɔn no. Ɔno ne nokware no, Yesu Kristo, Onyankopɔn ba no. Ɔno ne Nyankopɔn nokwafo a ɔma daa nkwa no. (aiōnios g166)
but we have known that the Son of God has come, and has given us a mind that we may know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ; this One is the true God and the continuous Life! (aiōnios g166)
21 Me mma, montwe mo ho mfi abosom ho.
Little children, guard yourselves from idols! Amen.
