< 1 Korintofo 4 >
1 Ɛsɛ sɛ mubu yɛn sɛ Kristo asomfo a wɔde Onyankopɔn ahintasɛm a ɛyɛ nokware no ahyɛ yɛn nsa.
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
2 Ade baako a wɔrehwehwɛ afi onipa a wɔde ahintasɛm no ahyɛ ne nsa no ne sɛ obedi ne wura no nokware.
Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
3 Sɛ mo anaa onipa bi bu me atɛn mprempren a, ɛmfa me ho. Mʼankasa nso mimmu me ho atɛn.
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
4 Mʼadwene mu yɛ fann, nanso ɛno nkyerɛ sɛ midi bem fitaa. Awurade nko ara na obu me atɛn.
For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
5 Enti ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara bu ne yɔnko atɛn kosi sɛ bere a ɛsɛ bɛba. Awurade ba mu no na wobebu atɛn a etwa to. Ɔbɛda nea ahintaw wɔ sum mu no adi na wada nea ahintaw wɔ nnipa koma mu no nso adi. Na onipa biara anya nʼayeyi afi Onyankopɔn hɔ.
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
6 Anuanom, mo nti mede Apolo ne me ayɛ nhwɛso, sɛnea ɛbɛma mo osuahu a ɛka se, “Di mmara pa so” no. Ɛnsɛ sɛ mo mu biara de onipa bi hoahoa ne ho na obu ɔfoforo nso onipa teta.
And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and [to] Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think [of men] above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
For who maketh thee to differ [from another]? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive [it], why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received [it]?
8 Biribiara a mohwehwɛ no, mo nsa aka dedaw! Moyɛ adefo dedaw. Moayeyɛ ahemfo, nanso yɛnyɛ bi! Nokware, anka mepɛ sɛ moyɛ ahemfo na anka yɛn nso yɛyɛ ahemfo bɛka mo ho.
Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.
9 Ɛyɛ me sɛ yɛn asomafo yi de, Onyankopɔn de yɛn atwa to sɛ nnipa bi a wɔabu wɔn kumfɔ wɔ bagua mu sɛ nnipa ne wiase abɔfo nyinaa nhwɛ.
For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
10 Kristo nti yɛyɛ nkwaseafo, nanso moyɛ anyansafo wɔ Kristo mu. Yɛyɛ mmerɛw, nanso moyɛ den. Wommu yɛn, nanso wobu mo.
We [are] fools for Christ’s sake, but ye [are] wise in Christ; we [are] weak, but ye [are] strong; ye [are] honourable, but we [are] despised.
11 Ebesi saa bere yi mu ɔkɔm ne osukɔm de yɛn. Yefura ntamagow; wɔhwe yɛn; yedi atutena;
Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
12 yɛyɛ adwuma a ɛyɛ den de hwɛ yɛn ho. Wɔdome yɛn a, yehyira; wɔhwe yɛn a yegyina ano.
And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:
13 Wɔyaw yɛn a, yɛde kasa pa bua. Yɛte sɛ wiase yi mu wura bi a yɛnka hwee de besi nnɛ.
Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, [and are] the offscouring of all things unto this day.
14 Ɛnyɛ sɛ mepɛ sɛ migu mo anim ase nti na mekyerɛw saa nhoma yi brɛɛ mo. Na mmom mepɛ sɛ mekyerɛ mo ɔkwan sɛ me ara me mma a medɔ wɔn.
I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn [you].
15 Na sɛ mowɔ ahwɛfo mpem du mpo wɔ mo asetena mu wɔ Kristo mu a, mowɔ Agya baako pɛ. Na mo nkwa a ɛwɔ Kristo Yesu mu no nti, menam asɛmpa a meka kyerɛɛ mo no so abɛyɛ mo agya.
For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet [have ye] not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
16 Mesrɛ mo sɛ munsuasua me.
Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
17 Ɛnam eyi so nti, meresoma Timoteo na waba mo nkyɛn. Ɔyɛ mʼankasa me dɔba a odi me nokware wɔ Awurade mu. Ɔbɛkaakae mo mʼakwan foforo a menam so di Kristo Yesu akyi ne nkyerɛkyerɛ a mekyerɛkyerɛ wɔ asafo biara a mekɔ mu no mu.
For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.
18 Mo mu bi ayɛ ahantan, susuw sɛ meremmɛsra mo.
Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.
19 Sɛ Awurade pɛ a, ɛrenkyɛ biara mɛba mo nkyɛn na mʼankasa mabɛhwɛ dwuma a saa ahantanfo yi betumi adi na ɛnyɛ asɛm a wɔbɛka no.
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.
20 Onyankopɔn Ahenni no nyɛ nsɛnkeka na ɛyɛ tumi.
For the kingdom of God [is] not in word, but in power.
21 Emu nea ɛwɔ he na mopɛ? Memmɛbɔ mo mmaa anaa koma a ɔdɔ wɔ mu na ebu ade na memfa mmra mo nkyɛn?
What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and [in] the spirit of meekness?
