< 1 Korintofo 2 >
1 Anuanom, bere a mebaa mo nkyɛn bɛkaa Onyankopɔn ho ahintasɛm a ɛyɛ nokware kyerɛɛ mo no, manka asɛm a ɛkyere adwene anaa nyansa a ɛtra mo so.
When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence of speech or wisdom as I proclaimed hidden truths about God.
2 Meyɛɛ mʼadwene sɛ bere a me ne mo wɔ hɔ no, mɛma me werɛ afi biribiara gye Yesu Kristo nko; na ne titiriw no, ne wu wɔ asennua no so no.
For I decided to know nothing when I was among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
3 Enti bere a mebaa mo hɔ no, na meyɛ mmerɛw a ehu ne ahopopo aka me.
And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
4 Na nkyerɛkyerɛ a mekyerɛkyerɛɛ no nso mannyina anyansasɛm ne nnipa adwene so, na mmom menam kasa pa so daa tumi a ɛwɔ Onyankopɔn Honhom Kronkron no mu no adi.
And my message and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom. Instead, they were with the demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 Enti mo gyidi nnyina onipa nyansa so, na mmom egyina Onyankopɔn tumi so.
so that your faith might not be in the wisdom of humans, but in the power of God.
6 Mekasa nyansa mu kyerɛ wɔn a wɔanyinyin wɔ Honhom mu. Nanso saa nyansa no nyɛ wiase nyansa anaa wiase yi mu tumi ahorow a wɔn tumi resa no. (aiōn )
Now we do speak wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this world, or of the rulers of this age, who are passing away. (aiōn )
7 Nyansasɛm a meka no yɛ Onyankopɔn nyansa a wɔde ahintaw nnipa. Ɛno na Onyankopɔn ayi ato hɔ ama yɛn dedaw sɛ yɛn anuonyam ahyɛde ansa na wɔrebɔ wiase. (aiōn )
Instead, we speak God's wisdom in hidden truth, the hidden wisdom that God predestined before the ages for our glory. (aiōn )
8 Aman sodifo biara nnim saa nyansa no. Sɛ wonim a anka wɔremmɔ Awurade a anuonyam ahyɛ no ma no asennua mu. (aiōn )
None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn )
9 Kyerɛwsɛm no ka se, “Nea onipa biara anhu na wante da, nea onipa biara annwene ho sɛ ɛbɛba da no, ɛno na Onyankopɔn no ara asiesie ama wɔn a wɔdɔ no no.”
But as it is written, “Things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined, the things that God has prepared for those who love him.”
10 Na yɛn na Onyankopɔn nam ne Honhom Kronkron no so ada nʼahintasɛm yi adi akyerɛ yɛn. Honhom no pɛɛpɛɛ biribiara mu kosi Onyankopɔn ahintasɛm a emu dɔ no so.
These are the things that God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the deep things of God.
11 Onipa de, ɔno ara ne honhom a ɛte ne mu no na enim ne ho nsɛm nyinaa; saa ara nso na Onyankopɔn Honhom no nko ara na enim Onyankopɔn ho nsɛm nyinaa.
For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of the person in him? So also, no one knows the deep things of God except the Spirit of God.
12 Ɛnyɛ wiase yi mu honhom na yɛanya; Honhom Kronkron a Onyankopɔn somaa no no na yɛanya sɛnea ɛbɛma yɛahu nea Onyankopɔn de ama yɛn no nyinaa.
But we did not receive the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we might know the things freely given to us by God.
13 Enti ɛnyɛ nsɛm a nnipa de wɔn nyansa akyerɛ yɛn no na yɛka, na mmom nsɛm a Honhom no akyerɛ yɛn no na yɛnam Honhom no mu nokware reda saa honhom mu nsɛm yi adi akyerɛ wɔn a wɔwɔ Honhom no.
We speak about these things in words that man's wisdom cannot teach, but which the Spirit teaches us. The Spirit interprets spiritual words with spiritual wisdom.
14 Nanso obi a onni Honhom no rentumi nnya akyɛde a efi Onyankopɔn Honhom no mu. Ɔrente ase da biara da; ɔfa no sɛ nsɛm a aba nni mu, efisɛ wogyina Honhom no nko so na wobetumi anya ntease a ɛsɛ.
The unspiritual person does not receive the things that belong to the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. He cannot know them because they are spiritually discerned.
15 Onipa a Honhom no te ne mu no tumi sese biribiara nanso obiara rentumi mmu no atɛn.
The one who is spiritual judges all things, but he is not subject to the judgment of others.
16 Kyerɛwsɛm no ka se, “Hena na onim Awurade adwene? Hena na obetumi atu no fo?” Nanso yɛn de, yɛwɔ Kristo adwene no bi.
“For who can know the mind of the Lord, that he can instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
