< 1 Korintofo 11 >

1 Munsua me sɛnea misua Kristo no.
Be imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.
2 Mekamfo mo, efisɛ bere biara mokae me, di nea mekyerɛɛ mo no so.
Now I praise you, brothers, that you remember me in all things, and hold firm the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.
3 Na mepɛ sɛ mote ase sɛ, ɔbarima ti ne Kristo, na ɔbarima yɛ ɔbea ti, nanso Kristo ti ne Onyankopɔn.
But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
4 Enti ɔbarima biara a ɔkata ne ti so bɔ mpae anaa ɔka Onyankopɔn asɛm wɔ bagua mu no gu Kristo anim ase.
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.
5 Na ɔbea a ɔnkata ne ti so na ɔbɔ mpae ka Onyankopɔn asɛm wɔ bagua mu no nso gu ne kunu anim ase. Nsonoe biara nna ɔne ɔbea a wayi ne tinwi no ntam.
But every woman praying or prophesying with her head uncovered dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved.
6 Sɛ ɔbea no nkata ne ti so a, ɛsɛ sɛ otwitwa ne tinwi gu. Esiane sɛ ɛyɛ animguase sɛ ɔbea beyi ne tinwi anaa obetwitwa agu no nti, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔkata so.
For if a woman is not covered, let her hair also be cut off. But if it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut off or be shaved, let her be covered.
7 Ɛho nhia sɛ ɔbarima bɛkata ne ti so, efisɛ ɔyɛ Onyankopɔn anuonyam ne ne sɛso
For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.
8 na wɔammɔ ɔbarima amfi ɔbea mu, na mmom wɔbɔɔ ɔbea fii ɔbarima mu.
For man is not from woman, but woman from man;
9 Saa ara nso na ɛnyɛ ɔbea nti na wɔbɔɔ ɔbarima, nanso ɔbea de, ɔbarima nti na wɔbɔɔ no.
for man wasn’t created for the woman, but woman for the man.
10 Esiane saa asɛm yi ne abɔfo no nti, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔbea nya nkataso bi wɔ ne ti so de kyerɛ sɛ ɔhyɛ tumi bi ase.
For this cause the woman ought to have authority over her own head, because of the angels.
11 Yɛn asetena wɔ Awurade mu no, ɔbea nne ne ho na ɔbarima nso nne ne ho.
Nevertheless, neither is the woman independent of the man, nor the man independent of the woman, in the Lord.
12 Na sɛnea wɔbɔɔ ɔbea fii ɔbarima mu no, saa ara nso na ɔbea woo ɔbarima, na biribiara nso fii Onyankopɔn.
For as woman came from man, so a man also comes through a woman; but all things are from God.
13 Eye sɛ ɔbea bɛbɔ mpae afrɛ Onyankopɔn wɔ bagua mu a biribiara nkata ne ti so ana? Mo ara mummua mfa.
Judge for yourselves. Is it appropriate that a woman pray to God unveiled?
14 Ɛnyɛ saa abɔde koro no ara na ɛka se sɛ ɔbarima ti fuw bebree a, ɛyɛ animguase ma no no?
Doesn’t even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
15 Nanso ɔbea de, sɛ ne ti fuw pii a, ɛyɛ anuonyam ma no ana? Wɔama no nwi pii sɛ nkataho.
But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, for her hair is given to her for a covering.
16 Nanso sɛ obi pɛ sɛ ogye eyi ho akyinnye a, asɛm a mewɔ ka wɔ ho ara ne sɛ, yɛn anaa Onyankopɔn asafo no nni ɔkwan foforo biara a wɔfa so som.
But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God’s assemblies.
17 Nhyehyɛe a edidi so yi mu no, minni nkamfo biara de ma mo, efisɛ mo asafo nhyiamu de ɔhaw brɛ mo mmom.
But in giving you this command I don’t praise you, because you come together not for the better but for the worse.
18 Nea edi kan no, mate sɛ mo ne mo ho mo ho di asi wɔ mo nhyiamu mu na migye di sɛ nokware kakra wɔ mu.
For first of all, when you come together in the assembly, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it.
19 Akyinnye biara nni ho sɛ ɛsɛ sɛ mo mu kyekyɛ sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a nokware bɛda adi.
For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.
20 Sɛ muhyia sɛ kuw a, munnhyia sɛ moreyɛ Awurade Adidi
When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord’s supper that you eat.
21 efisɛ mugu so redidi no, obiara di nʼaduan. Ɛno nti bere a ɔkɔm de obi no na ɔfoforo nso abow nsa.
For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunken.
22 Mo ara munni afi a mudidi nom wɔ mu? Anaasɛ mopɛ sɛ mugu Onyankopɔn asafo no ne wɔn a ade ahia wɔn no anim ase ana? Dɛn na mohwehwɛ sɛ meka fa saa asɛm yi ho kyerɛ mo? Menkamfo mo ana? Ɛsɛ sɛ muhu sɛ ɛnsɛ sɛ mekamfo mo!
What, don’t you have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God’s assembly and put them to shame who don’t have enough? What shall I tell you? Shall I praise you? In this I don’t praise you.
23 Awurade nkyɛn na minya nkyerɛkyerɛ a mekyerɛkyerɛ mo no se Awurade Yesu, anadwo a woyii no mae no, ɔfaa brodo
For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread.
24 na ɔdaa Onyankopɔn ase no, obuu mu kae se, “Eyi ne me nipadua a mede ma mo. Monyɛ eyi mfa nkae me.”
When he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me.”
25 Saa ara na Adidi no akyi no, ɔfaa kuruwa na ɔkae se, “Saa kuruwa yi yɛ Onyankopɔn apam foforo a wɔde me mogya ahyɛ mu den. Bere biara a mobɛnom no, momfa nkae me.”
In the same way he also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me.”
26 Bere biara a mubedi brodo no na mobɛnom kuruwa no ano no, monka Awurade wu no ho asɛm nkosi sɛ ɔbɛba.
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
27 Ɛkyerɛ sɛ, sɛ obi di Awurade brodo no na ɔnom kuruwa no ano wɔ ɔkwan a ɛmfata so a, odi Awurade nipadua ne ne mogya no ho fɔ.
Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord’s cup in a way unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
28 Enti ansa na obiara bedi brodo no, anom kuruwa no ano no, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔkari ne ho hwɛ.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
29 Na sɛ wammu Awurade Honhom no na odi, nom fi kuruwa no mu a, odi nom de atemmu ba nʼankasa so.
For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself if he doesn’t discern the Lord’s body.
30 Ɛno nti na mo mu bebree yareyare na moyɛ mmerɛw na mo mu pii awuwu no.
For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
31 Sɛ yɛkari yɛn ho hwɛ ansa a, yɛrenkɔ Onyankopɔn atemmu mu.
For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn’t be judged.
32 Nanso Awurade bu yɛn atɛn, twe yɛn aso sɛnea ɔremmu yɛne wiase nyinaa fɔ.
But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
33 Ɛno nti, me nuanom, sɛ muhyia sɛ morekɔ Awurade Adidi no a, mommɔ mu nnidi.
Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.
34 Sɛ ɔkɔm de obi a, onni biribi wɔ fie na Onyankopɔn ammu no atɛn wɔ wɔn nhyiamu no ase. Meba a mɛkyerɛ mo nea monyɛ bio.
But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.
