1 Israelfo akuw ahorow no ni—mmusua mpanyimfo, asahene ne asraafo mpanyimfo a na wɔhwɛ asraafo akuw ahorow so de som ɔhene, a kuw biara kɔ adwuma ɔsram baako wɔ afe mu. Na dɔm a wɔwɔ kuw biara mu nso dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan. Wɔn din na edidi so yi.
And [these] are the children of Israel after their number, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in every matter of the divisions, which came in and went out month by month throughout the months of the year; in every division were twenty-four thousand.
2 Sabdiel babarima Yasobeam na na ɔyɛ kuw a edi kan no sahene, a na wɔkɔ adwuma ɔsram a edi kan wɔ afe no mu. Na ne kuw no asraafodɔm dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan.
Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
3 Na ɔyɛ Peres aseni a na ɔhwɛ asraafo mpanyimfo no nyinaa so ɔsram a edi kan no mu.
He was of the children of Pherez, the head of all the captains of the hosts for the first month.
4 Dodai a na ɔyɛ Ahoa aseni na na ɔyɛ kuw a ɛto so abien a na wɔkɔ adwuma ɔsram a ɛto so abien mu no so sahene. Na ne kuw no asraafodɔm dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan, a na Miklot yɛ nʼabediakyiri.
And over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite; and in his division was Mikloth ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
5 Ɔsɔfo Yehoiada babarima Benaia na na ɔyɛ kuw a ɛto so abiɛsa a na wɔkɔ adwuma ɔsram a ɛto so abiɛsa mu no so sahene. Na ne kuw no asraafodɔm dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan.
The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah (the son of Jehoiada, a principal officer): [he was] head; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
6 Saa Benaia yi na na ɔhwɛ Dawid asraafo akunini kuw, a na wɔfrɛ wɔn Akofo Akɛse Aduasa no so. Ne babarima Amisabad na na ɔyɛ nʼabediakyiri.
This Benaiah was a mighty man among the thirty, and above the thirty; and in his division was Ammizabad his son.
7 Yoab nuabarima Asahel na na ɔyɛ kuw a ɛto so anan, a na wɔkɔ adwuma ɔsram a ɛto so anan mu no so sahene. Na ne kuw no asraafodɔm dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan. Asahel babarima Sebadia na odii nʼade.
The fourth for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
8 Samhut a ɔyɛ Yisrahini na na ɔyɛ kuw a ɛto so anum, a na wɔkɔ adwuma ɔsram a ɛto so anum mu no so sahene. Na ne kuw no asraafodɔm dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan.
The fifth for the fifth month was the captain Shamhuth the Jizrahite; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
9 Ikes babarima Ira a ofi Tekoa no na na ɔyɛ kuw a ɛto so asia, a na wɔkɔ adwuma ɔsram a ɛto so asia mu no sahene. Na ne kuw no asraafodɔm dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan.
The sixth for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
10 Heles a na ɔyɛ Efraim aseni a ofi Pelon no na na ɔyɛ kuw a ɛto so ason, a na wɔkɔ adwuma ɔsram a ɛto so ason mu no so sahene. Na ne kuw no asraafodɔm dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan.
The seventh for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
11 Sibekai a na ɔyɛ Sera aseni a ofi Husa no na na ɔyɛ kuw a ɛto so awotwe, a na wɔkɔ adwuma ɔsram a ɛto so awotwe mu no so sahene. Na ne kuw no asraafodɔm dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan.
The eighth for the eighth month was Sibbechai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

The ninth for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjaminites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
13 Maharai a ɔyɛ Serah aseni a ofi Netofa no na na ɔyɛ kuw a ɛto so du, a na wɔkɔ adwuma ɔsram a ɛto so du mu no so sahene. Na ne kuw no asraafodɔm dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan.
The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
14 Benaia a ofi Piraton a ɛwɔ Efraim no na na ɔyɛ kuw a ɛto so dubaako, a na wɔkɔ adwuma ɔsram a ɛto so dubaako mu no so sahene. Na ne kuw no asraafodɔm dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan.
The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
15 Heldai a ɔyɛ Otniel a ofi Netofa aseni no na na ɔyɛ kuw a ɛto so dumien, a na wɔkɔ adwuma ɔsram a ɛto so dumien mu no so sahene. Na ne kuw no asraafodɔm dodow yɛ mpem aduonu anan.
The twelfth for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
16 Mmusuakuw no ne wɔn ntuanofo ni: Ruben abusuakuw: Sikri babarima Elieser; Simeon abusuakuw: Maaka babarima Sefatia;
And over the tribes of Israel were: for the Reubenites Eliezer the son of Zichri was the prince; for the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah;
17 Lewi abusuakuw: Kemuel babarima Hasabia; Aaron (asɔfo no) abusuakuw: Sadok;
for the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel; for Aaron, Zadok;
18 Yuda abusuakuw: Dawid nuabarima Elihu; Isakar abusuakuw: Mikael babarima Omri;
for Judah, Elihu of the brethren of David; for Issachar, Omri the son of Michael;
19 Sebulon abusuakuw: Obadia babarima Yismaia; Naftali abusuakuw: Asriel babarima Yerimot;
for Zebulun, Jishmaiah the son of Obadiah; for Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel;
20 Efraim abusuakuw: Asasia babarima Hosea; Manase (atɔe fam) abusuakuw: Pedaia babarima Yoel;
for the children of Ephraim, Hosea the son of Azaziah; for the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah;
21 Manase (apuei fam) abusuakuw Sakaria babarima Ido; Benyamin abusuakuw: Abner babarima Yaasiel;
for the half [tribe] of Manasseh in Gilead, Jiddo the son of Zechariah; for Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner;
22 Dan abusuakuw: Yeroham babarima Asarel. Eyinom ne Israel mmusuakuw no ne wɔn ntuanofo.
for Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23 Bere a Dawid ma wɔkan nnipa no, wɔankan wɔn a wonnii mfe aduonu, efisɛ na Awurade ahyɛ bɔ sɛ ɔbɛma Israelfo no adɔɔso sɛ ɔsoro nsoromma.
And David took not their number from twenty years old and under; for Jehovah had said he would increase Israel as the stars of heaven.
24 Yoab na ofii nnipakan no ase, nanso wanwie, efisɛ Onyankopɔn bo fuw Israel. Wɔankyerɛw nnipa no nyinaa dodow angu Ɔhene Dawid nkrataa mu.
Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he did not finish; and there fell wrath for it upon Israel; and the number was not put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
25 Adiel babarima Asmawet na na ɔhwɛ ahemfi sikakorabea so. Usia babarima Yonatan no na na ɔhwɛ ɔmantam no sikakorabea a ɛwowɔ nkurow, nkuraa ne aban a ɛwɔ Israel nyinaa so.
And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel; and over the storehouses in the country, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah.
26 Kelub babarima Esri na na ɔhwɛ apaafo a na wɔdɔw ɔhene mfuw so.
And over them that worked in the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.
27 Simei a na ofi Rama na na ɔhwɛ ɔhene bobe mfuw so. Sabdi a ofi Sifim na na ɔhwɛ aba a wɔde yɛ nsa ne nsa a wɔayɛ so.
And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite; and over what was in the vineyards of stores of wine was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
28 Baal-Hanan a ofi Geder no na na ɔhwɛ ɔhene ngonnua ne ankye nnua a na ɛwɔ Yuda bepɔw ase no so. Yoas na na ɔhwɛ ma wɔyɛ ngo.
and over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowland was Baal-hanan the Gederite; and over the cellars of oil was Joash.
29 Sitrai a ofi Saron na na ɔhwɛ anantwi a na wɔwɔ Saron sare so no so. Adlai babarima Safat na na ɔhwɛ anantwi a wɔwɔ abon ahorow mu no so.
And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite; and over the herds in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.
30 Ismaelni Obil na na ɔhwɛ yoma so. Yehdia a ofi Meronot na na ɔhwɛ mfurum so.
And over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite; and over the asses was Jehdiah the Meronothite.
31 Yasis a ofi Hagar na na ɔhwɛ ɔhene nguan so. Saa mpanyimfo yi nyinaa na na wɔhwɛ ɔhene Dawid agyapade so.
And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagarite. All these were comptrollers of the substance which was king David's.
32 Yonatan a na ɔyɛ Dawid wɔfa no yɛɛ ɔfotufo nyansafo maa ɔhene. Na ɔyɛ ɔkyerɛwfo a ɔwɔ nhumu. Na Hakmoni babarima Yehiel na na ɔkyerɛ ɔhene mmabarima ade.
And Jonathan, David's uncle, was counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe; and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons;
33 Ahitofel na na ɔyɛ ɔhene fotufo. Na Husai a ofi Arki yɛ ɔhene adamfo.
and Ahithophel was the king's counsellor; and Hushai the Archite was the king's friend;
34 Benaia babarima Yehoiada na odii Ahitofel ade na Abiatar bɛtoaa adedi no so. Yoab na na ɔyɛ Israel asraafodɔm no so sahene.
and after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and Joab was captain of the king's army.
