1 Sɛnea wɔkyekyɛɛ Aaron asefo a wɔyɛ asɔfo no mu akuwakuw ma wɔsom no ni: Na Aaron mmabarima no yɛ Nadab, Abihu, Eleasar ne Itamar.
Now [these are] the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 Nanso Nadab ne Abihu wui a wonni mma ansa na wɔn agya rewu. Enti ɛkaa Eleasar ne Itamar nko ara a na ɛsɛ sɛ wɔyɛ asɔfo.
But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest’s office.
3 Mmoa a Sadok a na ɔyɛ Eleasar aseni ne Ahimelek a na ɔyɛ Itamar aseni no boae no nti, Dawid kyekyɛɛ Aaron asefo mu akuwakuw sɛnea wɔn dwumadi te.
And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.
4 Wɔkyɛɛ Itamar de mu akuw awotwe, efisɛ na Eleasar asefo mu mmusua mpanyimfo no dɔɔso.
And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and [thus] were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar [there were] sixteen chief men of the house of [their] fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.
5 Wɔnam ntontobɔ kronkron so, kyekyɛɛ dwumadi ahorow nyinaa maa akuwakuw no, sɛnea ɛrenyɛ nhwɛanimsɛm biara. Efisɛ na mpanyimfo bebree a wɔfata sɛ wɔsom Onyankopɔn kronkronbea hɔ a wɔyɛ Eleasar ne Itamar asefo no nso wɔ hɔ.
Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors [of the house] of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
6 Netanel babarima Semaia a na ɔyɛ Lewini no yɛɛ adwuma sɛ ɔkyerɛwfo. Ɔkyerɛw din ne nnwuma ahorow wɔ ɔhene no ne ɔsɔfo Sadok ne Abiatar babarima Ahimelek ne asɔfo no ne Lewi mmusua no mpanyimfo anim. Eleasar ne Itamar asefo bobɔɔ ntonto sɛnea edidi so yi:
And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, [one] of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and [before] the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and [one] taken for Ithamar.

Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,

The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,

The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
10 Ntonto a ɛto so ason no bɔɔ Hakos. Ntonto a ɛto so awotwe no bɔɔ Abia.
The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11 Ntonto a ɛto so akron no bɔɔ Yesua. Ntonto a ɛto so du no bɔɔ Sekania.
The ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12 Ntonto a ɛto so dubaako no bɔɔ Eliasib. Ntonto a ɛto so dumien no bɔɔ Yakim.
The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
13 Ntonto a ɛto so dumiɛnsa no bɔɔ Hupa. Ntonto a ɛto so dunan no bɔɔ Yesebeab.
The thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14 Ntonto a ɛto so dunum no bɔɔ Bilga. Ntonto a ɛto so dunsia no bɔɔ Imer.
The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
15 Ntonto a ɛto so dunson no bɔɔ Hesir. Ntonto a ɛto so dunwɔtwe no bɔɔ Hapises.
The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,
16 Ntonto a ɛto so dunkron no bɔɔ Petahia. Ntonto a ɛto so aduonu no bɔɔ Yeheskel.
The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,
17 Ntonto a ɛto so aduonu baako no bɔɔ Yakin. Ntonto a ɛto so aduonu abien no bɔɔ Gamul.
The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,
18 Ntonto a ɛto so aduonu abiɛsa no bɔɔ Delaia. Ntonto a ɛto so aduonu anan no bɔɔ Maasia.
The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.
19 Kuw biara dii ne dwuma wɔ Awurade fi sɛnea wɔn agya Aaron nam Awurade, Israel Nyankopɔn akwankyerɛ so hyehyɛ maa wɔn no.
These [were] the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.
20 Eyinom ne mmusua a aka a wɔyɛ Lewi asefo no mpanyimfo: Amram asefo ntuanoni ne Subael. Subael asefo ntuanoni ne Yehdeia.
And the rest of the sons of Levi [were these: ] Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.
21 Rehabia asefo ntuanoni ne Yisia.
Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first [was] Isshiah.
22 Yishar asefo ntuanoni ne Selomot. Selomot asefo ntuanoni ne Yahat.
Of the Izharites; Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth; Jahath.
23 Hebron asefo ntuanofo ne: Yeria; Amaria ne nʼabediakyiri, Yahasiel na ɔto so abiɛsa na Yekameam to so anan.
And the sons [of Hebron; ] Jeriah [the first], Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
24 Usiel asefo ntuanoni ne Mika. Mika asefo ntuanoni ne Samir
[Of] the sons of Uzziel; Michah: of the sons of Michah; Shamir.
25 ne Mika nuabarima Yisia. Yisia asefo ntuanoni ne Sakaria.
The brother of Michah [was] Isshiah: of the sons of Isshiah; Zechariah.
26 Merari asefo ntuanofo ne Mahli ne Musi. Yasia asefo ntuanoni ne Beno.
The sons of Merari [were] Mahli and Mushi: the sons of Jaaziah; Beno.
27 Merari asefo a wofi Yasia mu no, ntuanofo no ne: Beno, Soham, Sakur ne Ibri.
The sons of Merari by Jaaziah; Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
28 Mahli asefo ntuanoni ne Eleasar a na onni mmabarima no.
Of Mahli [came] Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 Kis asefo ntuanoni ne Yerahmeel.
Concerning Kish: the son of Kish [was] Jerahmeel.
30 Musi asefo ntuanofo ne Mahli, Eder ne Yerimot. Eyinom ne Lewi asefo ne sɛnea wɔn mmusua te.
The sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These [were] the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.
31 Wɔnam ntonto kronkron a wɔbɔɔ wɔ wɔn so na wɔde wɔn nnwuma hyɛɛ wɔn nsa te sɛ Aaron asefo de no, a wɔanhwɛ mfe a wɔadi ne wɔn dibea. Wodii dwuma no wɔ ɔhene Dawid, Sadok, Ahimelek, asɔfo ne Lewifo mmusua mpanyimfo no anim.
These likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren.
