And they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had spread for it; and they presented burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.
2 Dawid wiee no, ohyiraa nkurɔfo no wɔ Awurade din mu.
And when David had ended offering up the burnt-offerings and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah.
3 Na ɔkyɛɛ Israelfo mmea ne mmarima nyinaa aduan. Obiara nyaa brodo mua, namkum ne bobe aba ɔfam.
And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread and a measure [of wine] and a raisin-cake.
4 Dawid yii saa Lewifo yi sɛ wonni nnipa no anim wɔ ɔsom mu, wɔ Awurade Apam Adaka no anim, na wɔmfa so nsrɛ ne nhyira, na wɔnna Awurade, Israel Nyankopɔn ase na wɔnkamfo no.
And he appointed certain of the Levites to do the service before the ark of Jehovah, and to celebrate, and to thank and praise Jehovah the God of Israel:
5 Asaf a na ɔda kuw yi ano no bɔɔ kyɛnkyɛn no. Na nʼabediakyirifo yɛ Sakaria a ɔto so abien, afei Yeiel, Semiramot, Yehiel, Matitia, Eliab, Benaia, Obed-Edom ne Yahasiel. Wɔn na wɔbɔɔ mmɛnta ne asankuten.
Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of lutes and with harps; and Asaph sounding with cymbals;
6 Na Asɔfo Benaia ne Yahasiel taa bɔ ntorobɛnto wɔ Onyankopɔn Apam Adaka no anim.
and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.

Then on that day David delivered first [this psalm] to give thanks to Jehovah through Asaph and his brethren.
8 Da Awurade ase na da ne kɛseyɛ adi. Ma wiase nyinaa nhu nea wayɛ.
Give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known his acts among the peoples.
9 Monto dwom mma no, monto ayeyi dwom mma no; monka nʼanwonwade no nyinaa.
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; Meditate upon all his wondrous works.
10 Monhoahoa mo ho wɔ ne din kronkron mu; momma wɔn a wɔhwehwɛ Awurade no nnya koma mu anigye.
Glory in his holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.

Seek Jehovah and his strength, Seek his face continually;
12 Monkae anwonwade a wayɛ, ne nsɛnkyerɛnne ne atɛn a obui.
Remember his wondrous works which he hath done; His miracles, and the judgments of his mouth:
13 Mo Israelmma, Onyankopɔn somfo, Yakob mma a wapaw wɔn.
Ye seed of Israel his servant, Ye sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 Ɔyɛ Awurade, yɛn Nyankopɔn; nʼahenni da adi wɔ asase so nyinaa.
He, Jehovah, is our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
15 Ɔkae nʼapam daa nyinaa, asɛm a ɔhyɛ maa awo ntoantoaso apem no.
Be ye ever mindful of his covenant, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations, —
16 Eyi ne apam a ɔne Abraham yɛe ne ntam a ɔka kyerɛɛ Isak.
Which he made with Abraham, And of his oath unto Isaac;
17 Ɔhyɛɛ mu den maa Yakob sɛ mmara, de maa Israel sɛ apam a ɛbɛtena hɔ afebɔɔ;
And he confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, Unto Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 “Mede Kanaan asase no bɛma wo sɛ kyɛfa a ɛbɛyɛ wʼagyapade.”
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance;
19 Ɔkaa eyi bere a na wɔnnɔɔso, ahɔhokuw ketewa bi a wɔwɔ Kanaan.
When ye were a few men in number, Of small account, and strangers in it.
20 Wofii aman so kɔɔ aman so, fii ahemman mu kɔɔ ahemman mu.
And they went from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people.
21 Nanso wamma obi anhyɛ wɔn so; wɔn nti, ɔkaa ahene anim se;
He suffered no man to oppress them, And reproved kings for their sakes,
22 “Mommfa mo nsa nka wɔn a masra wɔn ngo, na monnyɛ mʼadiyifo bɔne bi.”
[Saying, ] Touch not mine anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm.
23 Momma asase nyinaa nto dwom mma Awurade! Da biara, mompae mu nka asɛmpa no sɛ ogye nkwa.
Sing unto Jehovah, all the earth; Publish his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the nations, His wondrous works among all peoples.
25 Awurade yɛ ɔkɛse! Na nkamfo fata no! Ɛsɛ sɛ wosuro no sen anyame nyinaa.
For Jehovah is great, and exceedingly to be praised; And he is terrible above all gods.
26 Aman so anyame nyinaa yɛ ahoni bi kwa, nanso Awurade na ɔbɔɔ ɔsoro!
For all the gods of the peoples are idols; But Jehovah made the heavens.

Majesty and splendour are before him; Strength and gladness in his place.

31 Momma ɔsoro ani nnye na asase nsɛpɛw ne ho! Momma aman nyinaa nte sɛ, Awurade yɛ ɔhene.
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth!

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; Let the field exult, and all that is therein.
33 Momma kwae nnua nnyigyei nyɛ ayeyi Awurade anim! Efisɛ ɔrebebu asase atɛn.
Then shall the trees of the forest sing out at the presence of Jehovah, For he cometh to judge the earth.
34 Monna Awurade ase, efisɛ oye na nʼadɔe wɔ hɔ daa.
Give thanks unto Jehovah, for he is good; For his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.

And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks unto thy holy name, To triumph in thy praise.
36 Ayeyi nka Awurade, Israel Nyankopɔn, emfi mmeresanten nkosi nnasanten. Na nnipa no nyinaa gyee so se, “Amen!” Na wɔkamfoo Awurade.
Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, from eternity and to eternity! And all the people said, Amen! and praised Jehovah.

and with them, [with] Heman and Jeduthun, trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud; and the musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were at the gate.
43 Na nnipa no nyinaa san kɔɔ wɔn afi mu. Dawid nso san kɔɔ ne fi, kohyiraa ne fifo.
And all the people departed every one to his house; and David returned to bless his household.
