1 Böylece imanla aklandığımıza göre, Rabbimiz İsa Mesih sayesinde Tanrı'yla barışmış oluyoruz.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with YHWH through our Saviour Yahushua the Messiah:
2 İçinde bulunduğumuz bu lütfa Mesih aracılığıyla, imanla kavuştuk ve Tanrı'nın yüceliğine erişmek umuduyla övünüyoruz.
By whom also we have access by faith into this favour wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of YHWH.
3 Yalnız bununla değil, sıkıntılarla da övünüyoruz. Çünkü biliyoruz ki, sıkıntı dayanma gücünü, dayanma gücü Tanrı'nın beğenisini, Tanrı'nın beğenisi de umudu yaratır.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 Umut düş kırıklığına uğratmaz. Çünkü bize verilen Kutsal Ruh aracılığıyla Tanrı'nın sevgisi yüreklerimize dökülmüştür.
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of YHWH is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.
6 Evet, biz daha çaresizken Mesih belirlenen zamanda tanrısızlar için öldü.
For when we were yet without strength, in due time the Messiah died for the unrighteous.
7 Bir kimse doğru insan için güç ölür, ama iyi insan için belki biri ölmeyi göze alabilir.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 Tanrı ise bizi sevdiğini şununla kanıtlıyor: Biz daha günahkârken, Mesih bizim için öldü.
But YHWH commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, the Messiah died for us.
9 Böylece şimdi O'nun kanıyla aklandığımıza göre, O'nun aracılığıyla Tanrı'nın gazabından kurtulacağımız çok daha kesindir.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 Çünkü biz Tanrı'nın düşmanlarıyken Oğlu'nun ölümü sayesinde O'nunla barıştıksa, barışmış olarak Oğlu'nun yaşamıyla kurtulacağımız çok daha kesindir.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to YHWH by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 Yalnız bu kadar da değil, bizi şimdi Tanrı'yla barıştırmış olan Rabbimiz İsa Mesih aracılığıyla, Tanrı'nın kendisiyle de övünüyoruz.
And not only so, but we also joy in YHWH through our Saviour Yahushua the Messiah, by whom we have now received the atonement.
12 Günah bir insan aracılığıyla, ölüm de günah aracılığıyla dünyaya girdi. Böylece ölüm bütün insanlara yayıldı. Çünkü hepsi günah işledi.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 Kutsal Yasa'dan önce de dünyada günah vardı; ama yasa olmayınca günahın hesabı tutulmaz.
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Oysa ölüm Adem'den Musa'ya dek, gelecek Kişi'nin örneği olan Adem'in suçuna benzer bir günah işlememiş olanlar üzerinde de egemendi.
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 Ne var ki, Tanrı'nın armağanı Adem'in suçu gibi değildir. Çünkü bir kişinin suçu yüzünden birçokları öldüyse, Tanrı'nın lütfu ve bir tek adamın, yani İsa Mesih'in lütfuyla verilen bağış birçokları yararına daha da çoğaldı.
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the favour of YHWH, and the gift by favour, which is by one man, Yahushua the Messiah, hath abounded unto many.
16 Tanrı'nın bağışı o tek adamın günahının sonucu gibi değildir. Tek suçtan sonra verilen yargı mahkûmiyet getirdi; oysa birçok suçtan sonra verilen armağan aklanmayı sağladı.
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 Çünkü ölüm bir tek adamın suçu yüzünden o tek adam aracılığıyla egemenlik sürdüyse, Tanrı'nın bol lütfunu ve aklanma bağışını alanların bir tek adam, yani İsa Mesih sayesinde yaşamda egemenlik sürecekleri çok daha kesindir.
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of favour and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Yahushua the Messiah.)
18 İşte, tek bir suçun bütün insanların mahkûmiyetine yol açtığı gibi, bir doğruluk eylemi de bütün insanlara yaşam veren aklanmayı sağladı.
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 Çünkü bir adamın sözdinlemezliği yüzünden nasıl birçoğu günahkâr kılındıysa, bir adamın söz dinlemesiyle birçoğu da doğru kılınacaktır.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Kutsal Yasa suç çoğalsın diye araya girdi; ama günahın çoğaldığı yerde Tanrı'nın lütfu daha da çoğaldı.
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, favour did much more abound:
21 Öyle ki, günah nasıl ölüm yoluyla egemenlik sürdüyse, Tanrı'nın lütfu da Rabbimiz İsa Mesih aracılığıyla sonsuz yaşam vermek üzere doğrulukla egemenlik sürsün. (aiōnios g166)
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might favour reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Yahushua the Messiah our Saviour. (aiōnios g166)
