1 Davut'un hac ilahisi Bana: “RAB'bin evine gidelim” dendikçe Sevinirim.

A Song of Ascents. David’s. I was glad, when they were saying unto me, Unto the house of Yahweh, let us go!

2 Ayaklarımız senin kapılarında, Ey Yeruşalim!

Standing are our feet, within thy gates, O Jerusalem!

3 Bitişik nizamda kurulmuş bir kenttir Yeruşalim!

Jerusalem! that hath been builded, A true city, all joined together as one:

4 Oymaklar çıkar oraya, RAB'bin oymakları, İsrail'e verilen öğüt uyarınca, RAB'bin adına şükretmek için.

Whither have come up the tribes, The tribes of Yah, A testimony to Israel, To give thanks unto the Name of Yahweh:

5 Çünkü orada yargı tahtları, Davut soyunun tahtları kurulmuştur.

For there are set—Thrones for justice, Thrones for the house David.

6 Esenlik dileyin Yeruşalim'e: “Huzur bulsun seni sevenler!

Ask ye for the peace of Jerusalem, They shall prosper, who love thee!

7 Surlarına esenlik, Saraylarına huzur egemen olsun!”

Peace be within thy walls, prosperity within thy palaces:

8 Kardeşlerim, dostlarım için, “Esenlik olsun sana!” derim.

For the sake of my brethren and friends, Oh, might I speak [saying], Peace be within thee!

9 Tanrımız RAB'bin evi için İyilik dilerim sana.

For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, will I seek blessing for thee.
