Markos 15
1 Sabah olunca başkâhinler, ileri gelenler, din bilginleri ve Yüksek Kurul'un öteki üyeleri bir danışma toplantısı yaptıktan sonra İsa'yı bağladılar, götürüp Pilatus'a teslim ettiler.
And immediately early in the morning the high priests having made counsel with the elders and scribes, and all the sanhedrim, having bound Jesus, led Him away, and delivered Him to Pilate.
2 Pilatus O'na, “Sen Yahudiler'in Kralı mısın?” diye sordu. İsa, “Söylediğin gibidir” yanıtını verdi.
And Pilate asked Him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And responding He says to him, Thou sayest it.
3 Başkâhinler O'na karşı birçok suçlamada bulundular.
And the chief priests were accusing Him of many things.
4 Pilatus O'na yeniden, “Hiç yanıt vermeyecek misin?” diye sordu. “Bak, seni ne çok şeyle suçluyorlar!”
And Pilate again asked Him, saying, Do you not answer? behold, how many things they witness against you.
5 Ama İsa artık yanıt vermiyordu. Pilatus buna şaştı.
And Jesus responded nothing at all; so that Pilate marveled.
6 Pilatus, her Fısıh Bayramı'nda halkın istediği bir tutukluyu salıverirdi.
But during the feast he was accustomed to release unto them one prisoner, whom they asked,
7 Ayaklanma sırasında adam öldüren isyancılarla birlikte Barabba adında bir tutuklu da vardı.
And there was one called Barabbas, having been bound along with the insurrectionists, who had committed murder during the insurrection.
8 Halk, Pilatus'a gelip her zamanki gibi kendileri için birini salıvermesini istedi.
And the multitude crying out began to ask, as he was always accustomed to do unto them.
9 Pilatus onlara, “Sizin için Yahudiler'in Kralı'nı salıvermemi ister misiniz?” dedi.
And Pilate responded to them, saying, Do you wish that I may release unto you the King of the Jews?
10 Başkâhinlerin İsa'yı kıskançlıktan ötürü kendisine teslim ettiklerini biliyordu.
For he knew that the chief priests had delivered Him on account of envy.
11 Ne var ki başkâhinler, İsa'nın değil, Barabba'nın salıverilmesini istemeleri için halkı kışkırttılar.
And the chief priests persuaded the multitude that he should rather release unto them Barabbas.
12 Pilatus onlara tekrar seslenerek, “Öyleyse Yahudiler'in Kralı dediğiniz adamı ne yapayım?” diye sordu.
And Pilate responding again said to them, Then what do you wish that I shall do unto Him whom you call the King of the Jews.
13 “O'nu çarmıha ger!” diye bağırdılar yine.
And they again cried out, Crucify Him.
14 Pilatus onlara, “O ne kötülük yaptı ki?” dedi. Onlar ise daha yüksek sesle, “O'nu çarmıha ger!” diye bağrıştılar.
And Pilate said to them, For what evil hath He done? And they cried out uproariously, Crucify Him.
15 Halkı memnun etmek isteyen Pilatus, onlar için Barabba'yı salıverdi. İsa'yı ise kamçılattıktan sonra çarmıha gerilmek üzere askerlere teslim etti.
And Pilate, wishing to do the multitude a favor, released unto them Barabbas. And having scourged Jesus, he delivered Him up that He should be crucified.
16 Askerler İsa'yı, Pretorium denilen vali konağına götürüp bütün taburu topladılar.
And the soldiers led Him into the court, which is the judgment hall; and call around Him the whole band.
17 O'na mor bir giysi giydirdiler, dikenlerden bir taç örüp başına geçirdiler.
And they put on Him a purple robe, and having plaited a thorny crown, put it on Him.
18 “Selam, ey Yahudiler'in Kralı!” diyerek O'nu selamlamaya başladılar.
And they began to mock Him, Hail, King of the Jews!
19 Başına bir kamışla vuruyor, üzerine tükürüyor, diz çöküp önünde yere kapanıyorlardı.
And they continued to strike His head with a reed, and spit on Him, and putting down their knees worshiped Him.
20 O'nunla böyle alay ettikten sonra mor giysiyi üzerinden çıkarıp kendi giysilerini giydirdiler ve çarmıha germek üzere O'nu dışarı götürdüler.
And when they mocked Him, they divested Him of the purple robe, and put on Him His own raiment: and lead Him away in order that they may crucify Him.
21 Kırdan gelmekte olan Simun adında Kireneli bir adam oradan geçiyordu. İskender ve Rufus'un babası olan bu adama İsa'nın çarmıhını zorla taşıttılar.
And they compel a certain Simon, a Cyrenean, coming from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, that he must take His cross.
22 İsa'yı Golgota, yani Kafatası denilen yere götürdüler.
And they lead Him to Golgotha, a place which is interpreted, The place of a skull.
23 O'na mürle karışık şarap vermek istediler, ama içmedi.
And they gave Him myrrhed wine to drink: and He did not take it.
24 Sonra O'nu çarmıha gerdiler. Kim ne alacak diye kura çekerek giysilerini aralarında paylaştılar.
And they crucify Him, and divide His garments, casting the lot upon them, what each one may take.
25 İsa'yı çarmıha gerdiklerinde saat dokuzdu.
And it was the third hour, and they crucified Him.
26 Üzerindeki suç yaftasında, YAHUDİLER'İN KRALI diye yazılıydı.
And the superscription of His accusation was written over Him, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
27 İsa'yla birlikte, biri sağında öbürü solunda olmak üzere iki haydudu da çarmıha gerdiler.
And they crucify two thieves along with Him; the one on His right, and one on His left.
29 Oradan geçenler başlarını sallayıp İsa'ya sövüyor, “Hani sen tapınağı yıkıp üç günde yeniden kuracaktın? Çarmıhtan in de kurtar kendini!” diyorlardı.
And passing by they continued to blaspheme Him, wagging their heads, and saying, Aha, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,
save thyself, and come down from the cross.
31 Aynı şekilde başkâhinler ve din bilginleri de O'nunla alay ederek aralarında, “Başkalarını kurtardı, kendini kurtaramıyor” diye konuşuyorlardı.
Likewise also the chief priests mocking to one another with the scribes, continued to say, He saved others; He is not able to save Himself.
32 “İsrail'in Kralı Mesih şimdi çarmıhtan insin de görüp iman edelim.” İsa'yla birlikte çarmıha gerilenler de O'na hakaret ettiler.
Let Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, in order that we may see and believe. And those being crucified along with Him were reproaching Him.
33 Öğleyin on ikiden üçe kadar bütün ülkenin üzerine karanlık çöktü.
And it being the sixth hour, there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
34 Saat üçte İsa yüksek sesle, “Elohi, Elohi, lema şevaktani” yani, “Tanrım, Tanrım, beni neden terk ettin?” diye bağırdı.
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
35 Orada duranlardan bazıları bunu işitince, “Bakın, İlyas'ı çağırıyor” dediler.
And certain ones of those standing by said, Behold, He is calling Elijah.
36 Aralarından biri koşup bir süngeri ekşi şaraba batırdı, bir kamışın ucuna takarak İsa'ya içirdi. “Dur bakalım, İlyas gelip O'nu indirecek mi?” dedi.
And one running and filling a sponge with vinegar, and reaching it forth on a reed, gave Him drink, saying, Let Him alone, let us see if Elijah comes to take Him down.
37 Ama İsa yüksek sesle bağırarak son nefesini verdi.
And Jesus, sending forth a loud voice, expired.
38 O anda tapınaktaki perde yukarıdan aşağıya yırtılarak ikiye bölündü.
And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from top even to the bottom.
39 İsa'nın karşısında duran yüzbaşı, O'nun bu şekilde son nefesini verdiğini görünce, “Bu adam gerçekten Tanrı'nın Oğlu'ydu” dedi.
And the centurion standing by in front of Him, seeing that He thus expired, said; Surely this man was the Son of God.
40 Olup bitenleri uzaktan izleyen bazı kadınlar da vardı. Aralarında Mecdelli Meryem, küçük Yakup ile Yose'nin annesi Meryem ve Salome bulunuyordu.
And there were women looking on from a distance: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and Joses, and Salome;
41 İsa daha Celile'deyken bu kadınlar O'nun ardından gitmiş, O'na hizmet etmişlerdi. O'nunla birlikte Yeruşalim'e gelmiş olan daha birçok kadın da olup bitenleri izliyordu.
who when He was in Galilee, were accustomed both to follow Him, and minister unto Him. And many other women who came up to Jerusalem along with Him.
42 O gün Hazırlık Günü, yani Şabat Günü'nden önceki gündü. Artık akşam oluyordu. Bu nedenle, Yüksek Kurul'un saygın bir üyesi olup Tanrı'nın Egemenliği'ni umutla bekleyen Aramatyalı Yusuf geldi, cesaretini toplayarak Pilatus'un huzuruna çıktı, İsa'nın cesedini istedi.
And it already being evening, since it was the Preparation, which is the day before the Sabbath,
Joseph, who is from Arimathea, an honorable councilor, who also himself was waiting for the kingdom of God; having taken courage came to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.
44 Pilatus, İsa'nın bu kadar çabuk ölmüş olmasına şaştı. Yüzbaşıyı çağırıp, “Öleli çok oldu mu?” diye sordu.
And Pilate was astonished if He had died already. And having called the centurion, asked him if He was already dead.
45 Yüzbaşıdan durumu öğrenince Yusuf'a, cesedi alması için izin verdi.
And having learned from the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.
46 Yusuf keten bez satın aldı, cesedi çarmıhtan indirip beze sardı, kayaya oyulmuş bir mezara yatırarak mezarın girişine bir taş yuvarladı.
And having purchased linen, and taking Him down, he wrapped Him in the linen, and placed Him in a sepulcher which had been hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a stone to the door of the sepulcher.
47 Mecdelli Meryem ile Yose'nin annesi Meryem, İsa'nın nereye konulduğunu gördüler.
And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses were looking where He is placed.
