Luka 20
1 O günlerden birinde, İsa tapınakta halka öğretip Müjde'yi duyururken, başkâhinler ve din bilginleri, ileri gelenlerle birlikte çıkageldiler.
One day, as Jesus was teaching the people in the temple courts and preaching the gospel, the priests and the scribes came with the elders
2 O'na, “Söyle bize, bunları hangi yetkiyle yapıyorsun? Bu yetkiyi sana kim verdi?” diye sordular.
and said to him, “Tell us, by what authority are yoʋ doing these things, or who is it that gave yoʋ this authority?”
3 İsa onlara şu karşılığı verdi: “Ben de size bir soru soracağım. Söyleyin bana, Yahya'nın vaftiz etme yetkisi Tanrı'dan mıydı, insanlardan mı?”
He answered them, “I will also ask you one question. Tell me:
Did John's authority to baptize come from heaven or from men?”
5 Bunu aralarında şöyle tartıştılar: “‘Tanrı'dan’ dersek, ‘Ona niçin inanmadınız?’ diyecek.
So they discussed it among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why did you not believe him?’
6 Yok eğer ‘İnsanlardan’ dersek, bütün halk bizi taşa tutacak. Çünkü Yahya'nın peygamber olduğuna inanmışlardır.”
But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.”
7 Sonunda, “Nereden olduğunu bilmiyoruz” yanıtını verdiler.
So they answered that they did not know where it came from.
8 İsa da onlara, “Ben de size bunları hangi yetkiyle yaptığımı söylemeyeceğim” dedi.
Then Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”
9 İsa sözüne devam ederek halka şu benzetmeyi anlattı: “Adamın biri bağ dikti, bunu bağcılara kiralayıp uzun süre yolculuğa çıktı.
Then he began to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard, leased it to farmers, and left the country for a long time.
10 Mevsimi gelince, bağın ürününden payına düşeni vermeleri için bağcılara bir köle yolladı. Ama bağcılar köleyi dövüp eli boş gönderdiler.
At harvest time he sent a servant to the farmers so that they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat that servant and sent him away empty-handed.
11 Bağ sahibi başka bir köle daha yolladı. Bağcılar onu da dövdüler, aşağılayıp eli boş gönderdiler.
So he proceeded to send another servant, but they beat him also, treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty-handed.
12 Adam bir üçüncüsünü yolladı, bağcılar onu da yaralayıp kovdular.
Then he proceeded to send a third, but they wounded him as well and threw him out.
13 “Bağın sahibi, ‘Ne yapacağım?’ dedi. ‘Sevgili oğlumu göndereyim. Belki onu sayarlar.’
So the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What should I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps when they see him they will have respect for him.’
14 “Ama bağcılar onu görünce aralarında şöyle konuştular: ‘Mirasçı budur; onu öldürelim de miras bize kalsın.’
But when they saw him, the farmers discussed it among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him so that the inheritance will be ours.’
15 Böylece, onu bağdan dışarı atıp öldürdüler. “Bu durumda bağın sahibi onlara ne yapacak?
So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them?
16 Gelip o bağcıları yok edecek, bağı da başkalarına verecek.” Halk bunu duyunca, “Tanrı korusun!” dedi.
He will come and destroy those farmers and give the vineyard to others.” When the people heard this, they said, “Certainly not!”
17 İsa gözlerinin içine bakarak şöyle dedi: “Öyleyse Kutsal Yazılar'daki şu sözün anlamı nedir? ‘Yapıcıların reddettiği taş, İşte köşenin baş taşı oldu.’
But Jesus looked at them and said, “What then is the meaning of this Scripture: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?
18 O taşın üzerine düşen herkes paramparça olacak, taş da kimin üzerine düşerse onu ezip toz edecek.”
Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”
19 İsa'nın bu benzetmeyi kendilerine karşı anlattığını farkeden din bilginleriyle başkâhinler O'nu o anda yakalamak istediler, ama halkın tepkisinden korktular.
Then the chief priests and the scribes wanted to arrest him at that very hour, for they knew he had spoken this parable against them, but they were afraid.
20 İsa'yı dikkatle gözlüyorlardı. O'na, kendilerine dürüst süsü veren muhbirler gönderdiler. O'nu, söyleyeceği bir sözle tuzağa düşürmek ve böylelikle valinin yetki ve yargısına teslim etmek istiyorlardı.
So they watched him and sent spies who pretended to be sincere in order to catch him in something he said, so that they could deliver him up to the jurisdiction and authority of the governor.
21 Muhbirler O'na, “Öğretmenimiz, senin doğru olanı söyleyip öğrettiğini, insanlar arasında ayrım yapmaksızın Tanrı yolunu dürüstçe öğrettiğini biliyoruz. Sezar'a vergi vermemiz Kutsal Yasa'ya uygun mu, değil mi?” diye sordular.
The spies asked him, “Teacher, we know that yoʋ speak and teach correctly, and that yoʋ do not show partiality but teach the way of God in truth.
Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”
23 Onların hilesini anlayan İsa, “Bana bir dinar gösterin” dedi. “Üzerindeki resim ve yazı kimin?” “Sezar'ın” dediler.
But perceiving their craftiness, Jesus said to them, “Why are you testing me?
Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?” They answered, “Caesar's.”
25 O da, “Öyleyse Sezar'ın hakkını Sezar'a, Tanrı'nın hakkını Tanrı'ya verin” dedi.
He said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.”
26 İsa'yı, halkın önünde söylediği sözlerle tuzağa düşüremediler. Verdiği yanıta şaşarak susup kaldılar.
So they were not able to catch him in what he said in the presence of the people. And being amazed at his answer, they fell silent.
27 Ölümden sonra dirilişi yadsıyan Sadukiler'den bazıları İsa'ya gelip şunu sordular: “Öğretmenimiz, Musa yazılarında bize şöyle buyurmuştur: ‘Eğer bir adamın evli kardeşi çocuksuz ölürse, adam ölenin karısını alıp soyunu sürdürsün.’
Now some of the Sadducees, who deny that there is a resurrection, came up and asked Jesus,
“Teacher, Moses wrote for us: ‘If a man's brother dies, leaving a wife but no children, that man must marry the widow and raise up offspring for his brother.’
29 Yedi kardeş vardı. Birincisi kendine bir eş aldı, ama çocuksuz öldü.
Now there were seven brothers. The first married a woman and died childless.
30 İkincisi de, üçüncüsü de kadını aldı; böylece kardeşlerin yedisi de çocuk bırakmadan öldü.
The second married the widow, and he also died childless.
Likewise, the third also married her. In the same way all seven died, leaving no children.
32 Son olarak kadın da öldü.
Last of all, the woman also died.
33 Buna göre, diriliş günü kadın bunlardan hangisinin karısı olacak? Çünkü yedisi de onunla evlendi.”
In the resurrection, therefore, which of them will she be the wife of? For the seven all had her as a wife.”
Jesus answered them, “The people of this age marry and are given in marriage, (aiōn g165)
35 Ama gelecek çağa ve ölülerin dirilişine erişmeye layık görülenler ne evlenir, ne evlendirilir. (aiōn g165)
but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are they given in marriage. (aiōn g165)
36 Bir daha ölmeleri de söz konusu değildir. Çünkü meleklere benzerler ve dirilişin çocukları olarak Tanrı'nın çocuklarıdırlar.
Indeed they can no longer die, for they are like angels. They are sons of God, since they are sons of the resurrection.
37 Musa bile alevlenen çalıyla ilgili bölümde Rab için, ‘İbrahim'in Tanrısı, İshak'ın Tanrısı ve Yakup'un Tanrısı’ deyimini kullanarak ölülerin dirileceğine işaret etmişti.
But even Moses indicated that the dead are raised, when he said in the passage about the burning bush, ‘The Lord, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’
38 Tanrı ölülerin değil, dirilerin Tanrısı'dır. Çünkü O'na göre bütün insanlar diridir.”
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”
39 Artık O'na başka soru sormaya cesaret edemeyen din bilginlerinden bazıları, “Öğretmenimiz, güzel konuştun” dediler.
Then some of the scribes responded, “Teacher, yoʋ have spoken well.”
And they no longer dared to ask him anything.
41 İsa onlara şöyle dedi: “Nasıl oluyor da, ‘Mesih Davut'un Oğlu'dur’ diyorlar?
Then Jesus said to them, “How can it be said that the Christ is the Son of David?
42 Çünkü Davut'un kendisi Mezmurlar Kitabı'nda şöyle diyor: ‘Rab Rabbim'e dedi ki, Ben düşmanlarını Ayaklarının altına serinceye dek Sağımda otur.’
Even David himself says in the Book of Psalms, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand
until I make yoʋr enemies a footstool for yoʋr feet.”’
44 Davut O'ndan ‘Rab’ diye söz ettiğine göre, O nasıl Davut'un Oğlu olur?”
David calls him ‘Lord,’ so how is he his son?”
45 Bütün halk dinlerken İsa öğrencilerine şöyle dedi: “Uzun kaftanlar içinde dolaşmaktan hoşlanan, meydanlarda selamlanmaya, havralarda en seçkin yerlere, şölenlerde başköşelere kurulmaya bayılan din bilginlerinden sakının.
As all the people were listening, Jesus said to his disciples,
“Beware of the scribes. They like to walk around in long robes, and they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets.
47 Dul kadınların malını mülkünü sömüren, gösteriş için uzun uzun dua eden bu kişilerin cezası daha ağır olacaktır.”
They devour widows' houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive a more severe judgment.”
