Luka 10
1 Bu olaylardan sonra Rab yetmiş kişi daha görevlendirdi. Bunları ikişer ikişer, kendisinin gideceği her kente, her yere kendi önünden gönderdi.
And, after these things, the Lord appointed seventy two others, and sent them forth, two and two before his face, into every city and place whither, he himself, was about to come.
2 Onlara, “Ürün bol, ama işçi az” dedi, “Bu nedenle ürünün sahibi Rab'be yalvarın, ürününü kaldıracak işçiler göndersin.
And he was saying unto them—The harvest, indeed, is, great, but, the labourers, few; beg ye, therefore, of the Lord of the harvest, that he would thrust forth, labourers, into his harvest.
3 Haydi gidin! İşte, sizi kuzular gibi kurtların arasına gönderiyorum.
Withdraw! Lo! I send you forth as lambs amid wolves.
4 Yanınıza ne kese, ne torba, ne de çarık alın. Yolda hiç kimseyle selamlaşmayın.
Be not carrying purse, or satchel, or sandals, and, no one along the road, salute ye;
5 Hangi eve girerseniz, önce, ‘Bu eve esenlik olsun!’ deyin.
And, into whatsoever house ye enter, First, say, Peace to this house!
6 Orada esenliksever biri varsa, dilediğiniz esenlik onun üzerinde kalacak; yoksa, size dönecektir.
And, if the son of peace be, there, your peace, shall rest upon it; but, otherwise, at least, unto you, shall it return.
7 Girdiğiniz evde kalın, size ne verirlerse onu yiyip için. Çünkü işçi ücretini hak eder. Evden eve taşınmayın.
And, in the self-same house, abide ye, eating and drinking such things as they have; for, worthy, is the labourer, of his hire: be not removing from house to house.
8 “Bir kente girdiğinizde sizi kabul ederlerse, önünüze konulanı yiyin.
And, into whatsoever city ye shall enter, and they bid you welcome, be eating such things as are set before you;
9 Orada bulunan hastaları iyileştirin ve kendilerine, ‘Tanrı'nın Egemenliği size yaklaştı’ deyin.
And be curing the sick that are, therein, and be saying unto them—The kingdom of God hath drawn nigh upon you.
10 Ama bir kente girdiğinizde sizi kabul etmezlerse, o kentin caddelerine çıkıp şöyle deyin: ‘Kentinizden ayaklarımızda kalan tozu bile size karşı silkiyoruz. Yine de şunu bilin ki, Tanrı'nın Egemenliği yaklaştı.’
But, into whatsoever city ye shall enter, and they do not welcome you, going forth into the broadways thereof, say ye:
Even the dust that cleaveth unto us, out of your city, unto our feet, do we wipe off against you; nevertheless, of this, be taking notice—The kingdom of God hath drawn near.
12 Size şunu söyleyeyim, yargı günü o kentin hali Sodom Kenti'nin halinden beter olacaktır.
I tell you, for them of Sodom, in that day, more tolerable, will it be, than for that city.
13 “Vay haline, ey Horazin! Vay haline, ey Beytsayda! Sizlerde yapılan mucizeler Sur ve Sayda'da yapılmış olsaydı, çoktan çul kuşanıp kül içinde oturarak tövbe etmiş olurlardı.
Alas for thee, Chorazin! Alas for thee, Bethsaida! Because, if, in Tyre and Zidon, had been done the works of power which have been down in you, of old, in sackcloth and ashes sitting, they would have repented.
14 Ama yargı günü sizin haliniz Sur ve Sayda'nın halinden beter olacaktır.
Moreover, for Tyre and Zidon, more tolerable, will it be, in the judgment, than, for you.
15 Ya sen, ey Kefarnahum, göğe mi çıkarılacaksın? Hayır, ölüler diyarına indirileceksin! (Hadēs g86)
And, thou, Capernaum, —Unto heaven, shalt thou be uplifted? …Unto hades, thou shalt be brought down! (Hadēs g86)
16 “Sizi dinleyen beni dinlemiş olur, sizi reddeden beni reddetmiş olur. Beni reddeden de beni göndereni reddetmiş olur.”
He that hearkeneth unto you, unto me, doth hearken, and, he that setteth you aside, doth set, me, aside; and, he that setteth, me, aside, doth set aside, him that sent me.
17 Yetmişler sevinç içinde döndüler. “Ya Rab” dediler, “Senin adını andığımızda cinler bile bize boyun eğiyor.”
And the seventy [-two] returned, with joy, saying—Lord! even the demons, submit themselves unto us, in thy name!
18 İsa onlara şöyle dedi: “Şeytan'ın gökten yıldırım gibi düştüğünü gördüm.
And he said unto them—I was beholding Satan, when, like lightning, out of heaven, he fell!
19 Ben size, yılanları ve akrepleri ayak altında ezmek ve düşmanın bütün gücünü alt etmek için yetki verdim. Hiçbir şey size zarar vermeyecektir.
Lo! I have given you the authority—to be treading upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and, nothing, unto you, shall in anywise do harm;
20 Bununla birlikte, ruhların size boyun eğmesine sevinmeyin, adlarınızın gökte yazılmış olmasına sevinin.”
Notwithstanding, in this, be not rejoicing—that, the spirits, unto you submit themselves; but be rejoicing—that, your names, are inscribed in the heavens!
21 O anda İsa Kutsal Ruh'un etkisiyle coşarak şöyle dedi: “Baba, yerin ve göğün Rabbi! Bu gerçekleri bilge ve akıllı kişilerden gizleyip küçük çocuklara açtığın için sana şükrederim. Evet Baba, senin isteğin buydu.
In the self-same hour, exulted he in the Holy Spirit, and said—I openly give praise unto thee, Father! Lord of heaven and earth! in that thou hast hid these things from the wise and discerning, and hast revealed them unto babes, —Yea, O Father! that, so, hath it become, a delight, before thee.
22 “Babam her şeyi bana teslim etti. Oğul'un kim olduğunu Baba'dan başka kimse bilmez. Baba'nın kim olduğunu da Oğul'dan ve Oğul'un O'nu tanıtmak istediği kişilerden başkası bilmez.”
All things, unto me, have been delivered up by my Father; and, no one, knoweth, who the Son is, save the Father, —and who the Father is, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son may be minded to reveal him.
23 Sonra öğrencilerine dönüp özel olarak şöyle dedi: “Sizin gördüklerinizi gören gözlere ne mutlu!
And, turning unto his disciples, privately, he said—Happy, the eyes, that see what ye see!
24 Size şunu söyleyeyim, nice peygamberler, nice krallar sizin gördüklerinizi görmek istediler, ama göremediler. Sizin işittiklerinizi işitmek istediler, ama işitemediler.”
For I tell you, Many prophets and kings, have desired to see what, ye, see, and they saw not, and to hear what ye hear, and they heard not.
25 Bir Kutsal Yasa uzmanı İsa'yı denemek amacıyla gelip şöyle dedi: “Öğretmenim, sonsuz yaşamı miras almak için ne yapmalıyım?” (aiōnios g166)
And lo! a certain lawyer, arose, putting him to the test, saying—Teacher! by doing what, shall I inherit, life age-abiding? (aiōnios g166)
26 İsa ona, “Kutsal Yasa'da ne yazılmıştır?” diye sordu. “Orada ne okuyorsun?”
And, he, said unto him—In the law, what is written? how dost thou read?
27 Adam şöyle karşılık verdi: “Tanrın Rab'bi bütün yüreğinle, bütün canınla, bütün gücünle ve bütün aklınla seveceksin. Komşunu da kendin gibi seveceksin.”
And, he, answering, said—Thou shalt love the Lord thy God, out of all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might, and with all thine intention; and thy neighbour, as thyself?
28 İsa ona, “Doğru yanıt verdin” dedi. “Bunu yap ve yaşayacaksın.”
And he said unto him—Rightly, hast thou answered: This, do, and thou shalt live.
29 Oysa adam kendini haklı çıkarmak isteyerek İsa'ya, “Peki, komşum kim?” dedi.
But, he, wishing to justify himself, said unto Jesus—And, who is, my, neighbour?
30 İsa şöyle yanıt verdi: “Adamın biri Yeruşalim'den Eriha'ya inerken haydutların eline düştü. Onu soyup dövdüler, yarı ölü bırakıp gittiler.
And taking up [the question], Jesus said—A certain man, was going down from Jerusalem unto Jericho, and, with robbers, fell in, —who, stripping him, and inflicting, wounds, upon him, departed, leaving him, half dead.
31 Bir rastlantı olarak o yoldan bir kâhin geçiyordu. Adamı görünce yolun öbür yanından geçip gitti.
And, by chance, a certain priest, was coming down by that road, and, seeing him, passed by, on the opposite side.
32 Bir Levili de oraya varıp adamı görünce aynı şekilde geçip gitti.
And, in like manner, a Levite also, coming down to the place, and seeing him, passed by, on the opposite side.
33 O yoldan geçen bir Samiriyeli ise adamın bulunduğu yere gelip onu görünce, yüreği sızladı.
But, a certain Samaritan, going on his journey, came down to him, and, seeing him, was moved with compassion;
34 Adamın yanına gitti, yaralarının üzerine yağla şarap dökerek sardı. Sonra adamı kendi hayvanına bindirip hana götürdü, onunla ilgilendi.
and, coming near, bound up his bruises, pouring thereon oil and wine, —and, setting him on his own beast, brought him into an inn, and took care of him.
35 Ertesi gün iki dinar çıkararak hancıya verdi. ‘Ona iyi bak’ dedi, ‘Bundan fazla ne harcarsan, dönüşümde sana öderim.’
And, on the morrow, throwing out two denaries, he gave them to the inn-keeper, and said—Take care of him, and, whatsoever thou shall further spend, I, when on my way back, will duly pay thee.
36 “Sence bu üç kişiden hangisi haydutlar arasına düşen adama komşu gibi davrandı?”
Which of these three, seemeth unto thee to have become, neighbour, unto him who fell among the robbers?
37 Yasa uzmanı, “Ona acıyıp yardım eden” dedi. İsa, “Git, sen de öyle yap” dedi.
And, he, said—He who dealt mercifully with him. And Jesus said unto him—Be taking thy journey, and, thou, be doing, in like manner.
38 İsa, öğrencileriyle birlikte yola devam edip bir köye girdi. Marta adında bir kadın İsa'yı evinde konuk etti.
And, as they were journeying, he, entered into a certain village; and, a certain woman, named Martha, welcomed him into her house.
39 Marta'nın Meryem adındaki kızkardeşi, Rab'bin ayakları dibine oturmuş O'nun konuşmasını dinliyordu.
And, she, had a sister, called Mary, who also, seating herself at the feet of the Lord, was hearing his word.
40 Marta ise işlerinin çokluğundan ötürü telaş içindeydi. İsa'nın yanına gelerek, “Ya Rab” dedi, “Kardeşimin beni hizmet işlerinde yalnız bırakmasına aldırmıyor musun? Ona söyle de bana yardım etsin.”
But, Martha, was distracted about much ministering, and, coming near, said—Lord! carest thou not that, my sister, hath left me to be ministering, alone? Speak to her, then, that she help me.
41 Rab ona şu karşılığı verdi: “Marta, Marta, sen çok şey için kaygılanıp telaşlanıyorsun.
But the Lord, answering, said to her—Martha! Martha! thou art anxious and troubled about many things:
42 Oysa gerekli olan tek bir şey vardır. Meryem iyi olanı seçti ve bu kendisinden alınmayacak.”
Of few things, is there need, or, of one; Mary, in fact, hath chosen, the good part, —one which shall not be taken away from her.
