1 İsa Mesih'in kulu, Yakup'un kardeşi ben Yahuda'dan, Baba Tanrı tarafından sevilip İsa Mesih için korunmuş olan çağrılmışlara selam!
JUDE, a servant of Jesus the Messiah, and the brother of James, to the called people, the beloved of God the Father, the preserved by Jesus the Messiah:
2 Merhamet, esenlik ve sevgi artan ölçüde sizin olsun.
Mercy and peace in love, be multiplied to you.
3 Sevgili kardeşlerim, size ortak kurtuluşumuzla ilgili yazmaya çok gayret ettim. Bu arada sizi kutsallara ilk ve son kez emanet edilen iman uğrunda mücadeleye özendirmek için yazma gereğini duydum.
My beloved, while I take all pains to write to you of our common life, it is needful for me to write to you, exhorting you to maintain a conflict for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.
4 Çünkü Tanrımız'ın lütfunu sefahate araç eden, tek Efendimiz ve Rabbimiz İsa Mesih'i yadsıyan bazı tanrısızlar gizlice aranıza sızdılar. Onların yargılanacakları çoktan beri yazılmıştır.
For some have obtained entrance, who from the beginning were registered beforehand under this condemnation: wicked men, who pervert the grace of God to impurity, and deny him who is the only Lord God and our Lord, Jesus the Messiah.
5 Bütün bunları bildiğiniz halde, size anımsatmak isterim ki, ilk ve son kez halkı Mısır'dan kurtaran Rab iman etmeyenleri daha sonra yok etti.
And I wish to remind you, though ye all know it, that God, after once rescuing the people from Egypt, again destroyed them who believed not.
6 Yetkilerinin sınırı içinde kalmayıp kendilerine ayrılan yeri terk etmiş olan melekleri, büyük yargı günü için çözülmez bağlarla bağlayarak karanlığa hapsetti. (aïdios g126)
And the angels that kept not their primacy, but left their station, he hath reserved in chains unknown, under darkness, unto the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
7 Sodom, Gomora ve çevrelerindeki kentler de benzer biçimde kendilerini fuhuş ve sapıklığa teslim ettiler. Sonsuza dek ateşte yanma cezasını çeken bu kentler ders alınacak birer örnektir. (aiōnios g166)
As Sodom and Gomorrah, and the surrounding cities, which in like manner followed whoredom and went after strange flesh, are placed beneath everlasting fire, being, doomed to judgment. (aiōnios g166)
8 Aranıza sızan bu kişiler de onlar gibi gördükleri düşlere dayanarak öz bedenlerini kirletiyor, Rab'bin yetkisini hiçe sayıyor, yüce varlıklara sövüyorlar.
In the same manner, too, these sensual dreamers defile the flesh and despise authority, and revile excellency.
9 Oysa Başmelek Mikail bile Musa'nın cesedi konusunda İblis'le çekişip tartışırken, söverek onu yargılamaya kalkışmadı. Ancak, “Seni Rab azarlasın” dedi.
But Michael the archangel, who, in debate with the Accuser, contended about the body of Moses, did not venture to bring against him a reviling declaration; but said, The Lord will rebuke thee.
10 Ama bu kişiler anlamadıkları her şeye sövüyorlar. Öte yandan, akıldan yoksun hayvanlar gibi içgüdüleriyle anladıkları ne varsa, onları yıkıma götürüyor.
But these men revile things which they do not understand; and in the things of which they have a natural persuasion as animal beings, in these they corrupt themselves.
11 Vay onların haline! Çünkü Kayin'in yolundan gittiler. Kazanç için kendilerini Balam'ınkine benzer bir yanılgıya kaptırdılar. Korah'ınkine benzer bir isyanda mahvoldular.
Woe to them; for they have gone in the way of Cain; and, after the error of Balaam, they have lusted for gain; and, in the rebellion of Korah, they have perished.
12 Sevgi şölenlerinizde sizinle birlikte pervasızca yiyip içen bu kişiler birer kara lekedir. Yalnız kendilerini besleyen çobanlardır. Rüzgarın sürüklediği yağmursuz bulutlara, iki kez ölmüş, kökünden sökülmüş, sonbaharın meyvesiz ağaçlarına benzerler.
These are they who, in their feastings, riot while polluting themselves, feeding themselves without fear; clouds without rain, moved about by the winds; trees whose fruit hath failed, and they are without fruit, twice dead, and uplifted from their root;
13 Köpüğünü savuran denizin azgın dalgaları gibi ayıplarını çevreye savururlar. Serseri yıldızlar gibidirler. Onları sonsuza dek sürecek koyu karanlık bekliyor. (aiōn g165)
raging waves of the sea, which, by their foam, manifest their confusion; shootingstars, for which is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (aiōn g165)
14 Adem'den sonraki altıncı kuşaktan olan Hanok, bu adamlara ilişkin şu peygamberlikte bulundu: “İşte Rab herkesi yargılamak üzere on binlerce kutsalıyla geliyor. Tanrı yoluna aykırı, tanrısızca yapılan bütün işlerden ve tanrısız günahkârların kendisine karşı söylediği bütün ağır sözlerden ötürü Rab, bütün insanlara suçluluklarını gösterecektir.”
And of them also prophesied Enoch, who was the seventh from Adam, when he said: Behold, the Lord cometh, with myriads of his saints;
to execute judgment upon all; and to convict all the wicked, because of all the deeds they have wickedly committed; and because of all the hard speeches, which they, ungodly sinners, have uttered.
16 Bunlar hep yakınıp söylenir, kendi tutkularının peşinden giderler. Ağızlarından kurumlu sözler çıkar, kendi çıkarları için başkalarını pohpohlarlar.
These are they who murmur and complain of every thing, while they walk according to their lusts; and their mouth speaketh shocking things; and they flatter people, for the sake of gain.
17 Ama siz, sevgili kardeşlerim, Rabbimiz İsa Mesih'in elçileri tarafından önceden söylenen sözleri anımsayın.
But do ye, my beloved, remember the words which were before spoken by the legates of our Lord Jesus the Messiah;
18 Size demişlerdi ki, “Dünyanın son günlerinde alay edenler, tanrısızlığa yönelip kendi tutkularına göre yaşayanlar olacaktır.”
because they told you, that in the end of the times there would be scoffers, going after wickedness, according to their lusts.
19 Bunlar bölücü, insan doğasıyla sınırlı, Kutsal Ruh'tan yoksun kişilerdir.
These are they that separate themselves, sensual persons, not having the Spirit.
20 Ama siz, sevgili kardeşlerim, kendinizi tümden kutsal olan imanınızın temeli üzerinde geliştirin. Kutsal Ruh'un yönetiminde dua edin.
But, my beloved, be ye built up anew, in your holy faith, through the Holy Spirit, while ye pray.
21 Rabbimiz İsa Mesih'in sizi sonsuz yaşama kavuşturacak olan merhametini beklerken kendinizi Tanrı'nın sevgisinde koruyun. (aiōnios g166)
And let us keep ourselves in the love of God, while we wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus the Messiah unto our eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 Kimi kararsızlara merhamet edin.
And some of them, snatch ye from the fire.
23 Kimini ateşten çekip kurtarın. Kimine de korkuyla merhamet edin. Ama günahlı bir bedenin lekelediği giysiden bile tiksinin.
And when they repent, have compassion on them, with fear, hating even the tunic that is defiled by the flesh.
24 Kurtarıcımız tek Tanrı, sizi düşmekten alıkoyacak, büyük sevinç içinde lekesiz olarak yüce huzuruna çıkaracak güçtedir.
And to him who is able to preserve you faultless, and spotless, and to establish you without a blemish,
25 Yücelik, ululuk, güç ve yetki Rabbimiz İsa Mesih aracılığıyla bütün çağlardan önce, şimdi ve bütün çağlar boyunca Tanrı'nın olsun! Amin. (aiōn g165)
before his majesty, with joy, namely, the only God, our Deliverer, by means of Jesus the Messiah our Lord, be praise, and dominion, and honor, and majesty, both now and in all ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
