Eyüp 26
1 Eyüp şöyle yanıtladı:
But Job answered and said,
2 “Çaresize nasıl yardım ettin! Güçsüz pazıyı nasıl kurtardın!
How have you helped him that is without power? how save you the arm that has no strength?
3 Bilge olmayana ne öğütler verdin! Sağlam bilgiyi pek güzel öğrettin!
How have you counselled him that has no wisdom? and how have you plentifully declared the thing as it is?
4 Bu sözleri kime söyledin? Senin ağzından konuşan ruh kimin?
To whom have you uttered words? and whose spirit came from you?
5 “Suların ve sularda yaşayanların altında Ölüler titriyor.
Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering. (Sheol h7585)
7 O boşluğun üzerine kuzey göklerini yayar, Hiçliğin üzerine dünyayı asar.
He stretches out the north over the empty place, and hangs the earth upon nothing.
8 Bulutların içine suları sarar, Bulutlar yırtılmaz onların ağırlığı altında.
He binds up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
9 Dolunayın yüzünü örter, Üstüne bulutlarını serper.
He holds back the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud upon it.
10 Suların yüzeyine sınır çizer Işıkla karanlığın ayrıldığı yerde.
He has compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
11 Göklerin direkleri sarsılır, Şaşkına dönerler O azarlayınca.
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
12 Gücüyle denizi çalkalar, Ustaca Rahav'ı vurur.
He divides the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through the proud.
13 Gökler O'nun soluğuyla açılır, O'nun eli parçalar kaçan yılanı.
By his spirit he has garnished the heavens; his hand has formed the crooked serpent.
14 Bunlar yaptıklarının küçücük parçaları, O'ndan duyduğumuz hafif bir fısıltıdır. Gürleyen gücünü kim anlayabilir?”
Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
