Habakkuk 3
1 Peygamber Habakkuk'un Duası - Şigyonot Makamında
A PRAYER of Habakkuk the prophet, set to Shigionoth.
2 Ya RAB, ününü duydum ve yaptıklarının karşısında ürperdim. Günümüzde de aynı şeyleri yap, ya RAB, Şimdi herkes bilsin neler yapabildiğini. Öfkeliyken merhametini anımsa!
O LORD, I have heard the report of thee, and am afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy.
3 Tanrı Teman'dan, Kutsal Tanrı Paran Dağı'ndan geldi. (Sela) Görkemi kapladı gökleri, O'na sunulan övgüler dünyayı doldurdu.
God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. (Selah) His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.
4 Güneş gibi parıldıyor, Elleri ışık saçıyor. Gücünün gizi ellerinde.
And [his] brightness was as the light; he had rays [coming forth] from his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.
5 Yayılıyor salgın hastalıklar önüsıra, Ardısıra da ölümcül hastalıklar.
Before him went the pestilence, and fiery bolts went forth at his feet.
6 Duruşuyla dünyayı sarstı, Titretti ulusları bakışıyla, Yaşlı dağlar darmadağın oldu, Dünya kurulalı beri var olan tepeler O'na baş eğdi. Tanrı'nın yolları değişmezdir.
He stood, and measured the earth; he beheld, and drove asunder the nations: and the eternal mountains were scattered, the everlasting hills did bow; his goings were [as] of old.
7 Kuşan çadırlarını çaresizlik içinde gördüm, Midyan konutları korkudan titriyordu.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
8 Ya RAB, nehirlere mi öfkelendin? Gazabın ırmaklara mı? Yoksa denize mi kızdın da, Atlarına, yenilmez savaş arabalarına bindin?
Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers, or thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses, upon thy chariots of salvation?
9 Gerdin yayını, Okların içtiğin antlardır. (Sela) Yeryüzünü akarsularla yardın.
Thy bow was made quite bare; the oaths to the tribes were a [sure] word. (Selah) Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
10 Sarsıldı dağlar seni görünce, Seller her yanı süpürüp geçti. Engin denizler gürledi, dalgalar yükseldi.
The mountains saw thee, and were afraid; the tempest of waters passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.
11 Uçuşan oklarının pırıltısından, Parlayan mızrağının ışıltısından, Yerlerinde durakaldı güneş ve ay.
The sun and moon stood still in their habitation; at the light of thine arrows as they went, at the shining of thy glittering spear.
12 Gazap içinde ilerledin yeryüzünde, Ulusları öfkeyle çiğneyip ezdin.
Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the nations in anger.
13 Kendi halkını, seçtiğin ulusu kurtarmaya geldin. Kötü soyun başını ezdin, Soydun onu tepeden tırnağa. (Sela)
Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, for the salvation of thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, laying bare the foundation even unto the neck. (Selah)
14 Başını kendi mızrağıyla deldin. Askerleri fırtına gibi gelmişti bizi dağıtmaya, Saklanan düşkünleri yok etmiş gibi seviniyorlardı.
Thou didst pierce with his own staves the head of his warriors: they came as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.
15 Sense atlarınla çiğneyip geçtin büyük denizleri, Sularını köpürterek...
Thou didst tread the sea with thine horses, the heap of mighty waters.
16 Sesini duyunca yüreğim hopladı, Seğirdi dudaklarım, Kemiklerim eridi sanki, Çözüldü dizlerimin bağı. Ama bize saldıran halkın felakete uğrayacağı günü Sabırla bekleyeceğim.
I heard, and my belly trembled, my lips quivered at the voice; rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in my place: that I should rest in the day of trouble, when it cometh up against the people which invadeth him in troops.
17 Tomurcuklanmasa incir ağaçları, Asmalar üzüm vermese, Boşa gitse de zeytine verilen emek, Tarlalar ürün vermese de, Boşalsa da davar ağılları, Sığır kalmasa da ahırlarda,
For though the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 Ben yine RAB sayesinde sevineceğim, Kurtuluşumun Tanrısı sayesinde sevinçten coşacağım.
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 Egemen RAB gücümdür benim. Ayaklarıma geyik ayağının çevikliğini verir. Aşırtır beni yükseklerden. Müzik şefi için: Telli sazlar eşliğinde söylenecek.
Jehovah, the Lord, is my strength, and he maketh my feet like hinds’ [feet], and will make me to walk upon mine high places. For the Chief Musician, on my stringed instruments.
