Yasa'Nin Tekrari 27
1 Musa ile İsrail ileri gelenleri halka şöyle dediler: “Bugün size ilettiğim bütün buyruklara uyun.
Then Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people: “Keep all the commandments I am giving you today.
2 Şeria Irmağı'ndan Tanrınız RAB'bin size vereceği ülkeye geçince, büyük taşlar dikip kireçleyeceksiniz.
And on the day you cross the Jordan into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, set up large stones and coat them with plaster.
3 Atalarınızın Tanrısı RAB'bin size verdiği söz uyarınca O'nun size vereceği ülkeye, süt ve bal akan ülkeye girince, bu yasanın bütün sözlerini taşlara yazacaksınız.
Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
4 Şeria Irmağı'ndan geçince, bugün size buyurduğum gibi, bu taşları Eval Dağı'na dikip kireçleyeceksiniz.
And when you have crossed the Jordan, you are to set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I am commanding you today, and you are to coat them with plaster.
5 Orada Tanrınız RAB'be taşlardan bir sunak yapacaksınız. Bu taşlara demir alet uygulamayacaksınız.
Moreover, you are to build there an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones. You must not use any iron tool on them.
6 Tanrınız RAB'bin sunağını yontulmamış taşlardan yapacak, üzerinde Tanrınız RAB'be yakmalık sunular sunacaksınız.
You shall build the altar of the LORD your God with uncut stones and offer upon it burnt offerings to the LORD your God.
7 Esenlik sunularını orada kesip yiyecek ve Tanrınız RAB'bin önünde sevineceksiniz.
There you are to sacrifice your peace offerings, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the LORD your God.
8 Taşlara bu yasanın bütün sözlerini okunaklı bir biçimde yazacaksınız.”
And you shall write distinctly upon these stones all the words of this law.”
9 Sonra Musa ile Levili kâhinler bütün İsrailliler'e, “Ey İsrail, sus ve kulak ver!” diye seslendiler, “Bugün Tanrınız RAB'bin halkı oldunuz.
Then Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel: “Be silent, O Israel, and listen! This day you have become the people of the LORD your God.
10 Tanrınız RAB'bin sözüne kulak verin, bugün size ilettiğim buyruklarına, kurallarına uyun.”
You shall therefore obey the voice of the LORD your God and follow His commandments and statutes I am giving you today.”
11 O gün Musa halka şöyle dedi:
On that day Moses commanded the people:
12 “Şeria Irmağı'ndan geçince, halkı kutsamak için Gerizim Dağı'nda duracak oymaklar şunlardır: Şimon, Levi, Yahuda, İssakar, Yusuf, Benyamin.
“When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.
13 Lanetlemek için Eval Dağı'nda şu oymaklar duracak: Ruben, Gad, Aşer, Zevulun, Dan, Naftali.
And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal to deliver the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
14 Levililer bütün İsrail halkına yüksek sesle şöyle diyecekler:
Then the Levites shall proclaim in a loud voice to every Israelite:
15 “‘RAB'bin tiksindiği el işi oyma ya da dökme put yapana ve onu gizlice dikene lanet olsun!’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diye karşılık verecek.
‘Cursed is the man who makes a carved idol or molten image—an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of a craftsman—and sets it up in secret.’
16 “‘Annesine, babasına saygısızca davranana lanet olsun!’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diyecek.
‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or mother.’
17 “‘Komşusunun sınırını değiştirene lanet olsun!’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diyecek.
‘Cursed is he who moves his neighbor’s boundary stone.’
18 “‘Kör olanı yoldan saptırana lanet olsun!’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diyecek.
‘Cursed is he who lets a blind man wander in the road.’
19 “‘Yabancıya, öksüze, dul kadına haksızlık edene lanet olsun!’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diyecek.
‘Cursed is he who withholds justice from the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow.’
20 “‘Babasının karısıyla yatana lanet olsun! Çünkü o babasının evlilik yatağına leke sürmüştür.’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diyecek.
‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he has violated his father’s marriage bed.’
21 “‘Herhangi bir hayvanla cinsel ilişki kurana lanet olsun!’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diyecek.
‘Cursed is he who lies with any animal.’
22 “‘Annesinden ya da babasından olan kızkardeşiyle yatana lanet olsun!’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diyecek.
‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’
23 “‘Kaynanasıyla yatana lanet olsun!’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diyecek.
‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his mother-in-law.’
24 “‘Komşusunu gizlice öldürene lanet olsun!’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diyecek.
‘Cursed is he who strikes down his neighbor in secret.’
25 “‘Suçsuz birini öldürmek için rüşvet alana lanet olsun!’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diyecek.
‘Cursed is he who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.’
26 “‘Bu yasanın sözlerine uymayan ve onları onaylamayana lanet olsun!’ “Bütün halk, ‘Amin!’ diyecek.”
‘Cursed is he who does not put the words of this law into practice.’
