1 Kral Süleyman RAB'bin Antlaşma Sandığı'nı Davut Kenti olan Siyon'dan getirmek üzere İsrail halkının ileri gelenleriyle bütün oymak ve boy başlarını Yeruşalim'e çağırdı.
Then he called together Solomon [the] elders of Israel all [the] chiefs of the tribes [the] leaders of the fathers of [the] people of Israel to the king Solomon Jerusalem to bring up [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh from [the] city of David that [is] Zion.
2 Hepsi yedinci ay olan Etanim ayındaki bayramda Kral Süleyman'ın önünde toplandı.
And they assembled to the king Solomon every person of Israel in [the] month of Ethanim at the festival that [was] the month seventh.
3 İsrail'in bütün ileri gelenleri toplanınca, bazı kâhinler Antlaşma Sandığı'nı yerden kaldırdılar.
And they came all [the] elders of Israel and they lifted the priests the ark.
4 Sandığı, Buluşma Çadırı'nı ve çadırdaki bütün kutsal eşyaları kâhinlerle Levililer tapınağa taşıdılar.
And they brought up [the] ark of Yahweh and [the] tent of meeting and all [the] utensils of holiness which [were] in the tent and they brought up them the priests and the Levites.
5 Kral Süleyman ve bütün İsrail topluluğu Antlaşma Sandığı'nın önünde sayısız davar ve sığır kurban etti.
And the king Solomon and all [the] congregation of Israel who were gathered to him with him before the ark [were] sacrificing sheep and cattle which not they were counted and not they were numbered from multitude.
6 Kâhinler RAB'bin Antlaşma Sandığı'nı tapınağın iç odasına, En Kutsal Yer'e taşıyıp Keruvlar'ın kanatlarının altına yerleştirdiler.
And they brought the priests [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh to place its to [the] innermost room of the house to [the] holy place of the holy places to under [the] wings of the cherubim.
7 Keruvlar'ın kanatları sandığın konduğu yerin üstüne kadar uzanıyor ve sandığı da, sırıklarını da örtüyordu.
For the cherubim [were] spreading out wings to [the] place of the ark and they covered the cherubim over the ark and over poles its from to above.
8 Sırıklar öyle uzundu ki, uçları iç odanın önündeki Kutsal Yer'den görünüyordu. Ancak dışarıdan görünmüyordu. Bunlar hâlâ oradadır.
And they were long the poles and they were visible [the] heads of the poles from the holy place on [the] face of the innermost room and not they were visible the outside towards and they have been there until the day this.
9 Sandığın içinde Musa'nın Horev Dağı'nda koyduğu iki taş levhadan başka bir şey yoktu. Bunlar Mısır'dan çıkışlarında RAB'bin İsrailliler'le yaptığı antlaşmanın taş levhalarıydı.
There not [was] in the ark only [the] two [the] tablets of stone which he placed there Moses at Horeb where he made Yahweh with [the] people of Israel when came out they from [the] land of Egypt.
10 Kâhinler Kutsal Yer'den çıkınca, RAB'bin Tapınağı'nı bir bulut doldurdu.
And it was when came out the priests from the holy place and the cloud it filled [the] house of Yahweh.
11 Bu bulut yüzünden kâhinler görevlerini sürdüremediler. Çünkü RAB'bin görkemi tapınağı doldurmuştu.
And not they were able the priests to stand to serve because of the cloud for it filled [the] glory of Yahweh [the] house of Yahweh.
12 O zaman Süleyman şöyle dedi: “Ya RAB, karanlık bulutlarda otururum demiştin.
Then he said Solomon Yahweh he has said to dwell in thick darkness.
13 Senin için görkemli bir tapınak, sonsuza dek yaşayacağın bir konut yaptım.”
Certainly I have built a house of loftiness for you a place to dwell in you forever.
14 Kral ayakta duran bütün İsrail topluluğuna dönerek onları kutsadıktan sonra şöyle dedi:
And he turned the king face his and he blessed all [the] assembly of Israel and all [the] assembly of Israel [was] standing.
15 “Babam Davut'a verdiği sözü tutan İsrail'in Tanrısı RAB'be övgüler olsun! RAB demişti ki,
And he said [be] blessed Yahweh [the] God of Israel who he spoke with mouth his with David father my and with hand his he has fulfilled saying.
16 ‘Halkım İsrail'i Mısır'dan çıkardığım günden bu yana, içinde bulunacağım bir tapınak yaptırmak için İsrail oymaklarına ait kentlerden hiçbirini seçmedim. Ancak halkım İsrail'i yönetmesi için Davut'u seçtim.’
Since the day when I brought out people my Israel from Egypt not I chose a city from all [the] tribes of Israel to build a house to be name my there and I have chosen David to be over people my Israel.
17 “Babam Davut İsrail'in Tanrısı RAB'bin adına bir tapınak yapmayı yürekten istiyordu.
And it was with [the] heart of David father my to build a house for [the] name of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
18 Ama RAB, babam Davut'a, ‘Adıma bir tapınak yapmayı yürekten istemen iyi bir şey’ dedi,
And he said Yahweh to David father my because that it was with heart your to build a house for name my you did well that it was with heart your.
19 ‘Ne var ki, adıma yapılacak bu tapınağı sen değil, öz oğlun yapacak.’
Only you not you will build the house that except son your who comes out from loins your he he will build the house for name my.
20 “RAB verdiği sözü yerine getirdi. RAB'bin sözü uyarınca, babam Davut'tan sonra İsrail tahtına ben geçtim ve İsrail'in Tanrısı RAB'bin adına tapınağı ben yaptırdım.
And he has established Yahweh word his which he spoke and I have arisen in place of David father my and I have sat on [the] throne of Israel just as he spoke Yahweh and I have built the house for [the] name of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
21 Ayrıca, RAB'bin atalarımızı Mısır'dan çıkardığında onlarla yaptığı antlaşmanın içinde korunduğu sandık için tapınakta bir yer hazırladım.”
And I have set up there a place for the ark where [is] there [the] covenant of Yahweh which he made with ancestors our when brought out he them from [the] land of Egypt.
22 Süleyman RAB'bin sunağının önünde, İsrail topluluğunun karşısında durup ellerini göklere açtı.
And he stood Solomon before [the] altar of Yahweh before all [the] assembly of Israel and he spread out palms his the heavens.
23 “Ya RAB, İsrail'in Tanrısı, yerde ve gökte sana benzer başka tanrı yoktur” dedi, “Bütün yürekleriyle yolunu izleyen kullarınla yaptığın antlaşmaya bağlı kalırsın.
And he said O Yahweh [the] God of Israel there not like you [is] a God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath [who] keeps the covenant and covenant loyalty to servants your who walk before you with all heart their.
24 Ağzınla kulun babam Davut'a verdiğin sözü bugün ellerinle yerine getirdin.
Who you have kept to servant your David father my [that] which you spoke to him and you spoke with mouth your and with hand your you have fulfilled as the day this.
25 “Şimdi, ya RAB, İsrail'in Tanrısı, kulun babam Davut'a verdiğin öbür sözü de tutmanı istiyorum. Ona, ‘Senin soyundan İsrail tahtına oturacakların ardı arkası kesilmeyecektir; yeter ki, çocukların önümde senin gibi dikkatle yürüsünler’ demiştin.
And therefore O Yahweh - [the] God of Israel keep to servant your David father my [that] which you spoke to him saying not it will be cut off to you a man from to before me [who] sits on [the] throne of Israel only if they will guard descendants your way their to walk before me just as you have walked before me.
26 Ey İsrail'in Tanrısı, şimdi kulun babam Davut'a verdiğin sözleri yerine getirmeni istiyorum.
And therefore O God of Israel let it be established please (word your *Q(K)*) which you spoke to servant your David father my.
27 “Tanrı gerçekten yeryüzünde yaşar mı? Sen göklere, göklerin göklerine bile sığmazsın. Benim yaptığım bu tapınak ne ki!
For ¿ really will he dwell God on the earth here! the heavens and [the] heavens of the heavens not they contain you indeed? for the house this which I have built.
28 Ya RAB Tanrım, kulunun bugün ettiği duayı, yalvarışı işit; duasına ve yakarışına kulak ver.
And you will turn to [the] prayer of servant your and to supplication his O Yahweh God my to listen to the cry of entreaty and to the prayer which servant your [is] praying before you this day.
29 Gözlerin gece gündüz, ‘Orada bulunacağım!’ dediğin bu tapınağın üzerinde olsun. Kulunun buraya yönelerek ettiği duayı işit.
To be eyes your open to the house this night and day to the place where you have said it will be name my there to listen to the prayer which he will pray servant your to the place this.
30 Buraya yönelerek dua eden kulunun ve halkın İsrail'in yalvarışını işit. Göklerden, oturduğun yerden kulak ver; duyunca bağışla.
And you will listen to [the] supplication of servant your and people your Israel which they will pray to the place this and you you will listen to [the] place dwelling you to the heavens and you will hear and you will forgive.
31 “Biri komşusuna karşı günah işleyip ant içmek zorunda kaldığında, gelip bu tapınakta, senin sunağının önünde ant içerse,
[that] which He will sin anyone to neighbor his and he will impose on him an oath to put under an oath him and he will come he will swear an oath before altar your in the house this.
32 göklerden kulak ver ve gereğini yap. Suçlunun cezasını vererek, suçsuzu haklı çıkararak kullarını yargıla.
And you - you will hear the heavens and you will act and you will judge servants your to condemn as guilty a guilty [person] to requite conduct his on own head his and to declare righteous a righteous [person] to give to him according to righteousness his.
33 “Sana karşı günah işlediği için düşmanlarına yenik düşen halkın İsrail yine sana döner, adını anar, bu tapınakta dua edip yakararak önüne çıkarsa,
When are defeated people your Israel before an enemy that they will sin to you and they will turn back to you and they will praise name your and they will pray and they will seek favor to you in the house this.
34 göklerden kulak ver, halkın İsrail'in günahını bağışla. Onları atalarına verdiğin ülkeye yine kavuştur.
And you you will hear the heavens and you will forgive [the] sin of people your Israel and you will bring back them to the land which you gave to ancestors their.
35 “Halkın sana karşı günah işlediği için gökler kapanıp yağmur yağmazsa, sıkıntıya düşen halkın buraya yönelip dua eder, adını anar ve günahlarından dönerse,
When are shut up [the] heavens and not it will be rain for they will sin to you and they will pray to the place this and they will praise name your and from sin their they will turn back! for you will afflict them.
36 göklerden kulak ver; kullarının, halkın İsrail'in günahlarını bağışla. Onlara doğru yolda yürümeyi öğret, halkına mülk olarak verdiğin ülkene yağmurlarını gönder.
And you - you will hear the heavens and you will forgive [the] sin of servants your and people your Israel that you will teach them the way good which they will walk in it and you will give rain on land your which you gave to people your to an inheritance.
37 “Ülkeyi kıtlık, salgın hastalık, samyeli, küf, tırtıl ya da çekirgeler kavurduğunda, düşmanlar kentlerden birinde halkını kuşattığında, herhangi bir felaket ya da hastalık ortalığı sardığında,
Famine if it will be in the land pestilence for it will be blight mildew locust[s] locust[s] for it will be that he will lay siege to it enemy its in [the] land of gates its every plague any sickness.
38 halkından bir kişi ya da bütün halkın İsrail başına gelen felaketi ayrımsar, dua edip yakararak ellerini bu tapınağa doğru açarsa,
Every prayer every supplication which it will belong to any person to all people your Israel who they will know! each [the] plague of own heart his and he will spread out palms his to the house this.
39 göklerden, oturduğun yerden kulak ver ve bağışla. İnsanların yüreklerini yalnızca sen bilirsin. Onlara yaptıklarına göre davran ki,
And you you will hear the heavens [the] place of dwelling your and you will forgive and you will act and you will give to the person according to all ways his whom you will know heart his for you you know to alone you [the] heart of all [the] children of humankind.
40 atalarımıza verdiğin bu ülkede yaşadıkları sürece senden korksunlar.
So that they may fear you all the days which they [will be] alive on [the] surface of the ground which you gave to ancestors our.
41 “Halkın İsrail'den olmayan, ama senin yüce adını,
And also to the foreigner who not [is] one of people your Israel he and he will come from a land distant for [the] sake of name your.
42 gücünü, kudretini duyup uzak ülkelerden gelen yabancılar bu tapınağa gelip dua ederlerse,
For they will hear! name your great and hand your mighty and arm your outstretched and he will come and he will pray to the house this.
43 göklerden, oturduğun yerden kulak ver, yalvarışlarını yanıtla. Öyle ki, dünyanın bütün ulusları, halkın İsrail gibi, senin adını bilsin, senden korksun ve yaptırdığım bu tapınağın sana ait olduğunu öğrensin.
You you will hear the heavens [the] place dwelling you and you will do according to all that he will call to you the foreigner so that they may know! all [the] peoples of the earth name your to fear you like people your Israel and to know that name your it has been called on the house this which I have built.
44 “Halkın düşmanlarına karşı gösterdiğin yoldan savaşa giderken sana, seçtiğin bu kente ve adına yaptırdığım bu tapınağa yönelip dua ederse,
If it will go forth people your for battle on enemy its by the way which you will send them and they will pray to Yahweh [the] direction of the city which you have chosen it and the house which I have built for name your.
45 dualarına, yakarışlarına göklerden kulak ver ve onları kurtar.
And you will hear the heavens prayer their and supplication their and you will do justice their.
46 “Sana karşı günah işlediklerinde –günah işlemeyen tek kişi yoktur– sen öfkelenip onları yakın ya da uzak bir ülkeye tutsak olarak götürecek düşmanlarının eline teslim edersen,
If they will sin to you for there not [is] anyone who not he sins and you will be angry with them and will you deliver up them before an enemy and they will take captive them captors their to [the] land of the enemy distant or near.
47 onlar da tutsak oldukları ülkede pişmanlık duyup günahlarından döner, ‘Günah işledik, yoldan sapıp kötülük yaptık’ diyerek sana yakarırlarsa,
And they will bring back to heart their in the land where they have been taken captive there and they will repent - and they will seek favor to you in [the] land of captors their saying we have sinned and we have done wrong we have acted wickedly.
48 tutsak oldukları ülkede candan ve yürekten sana dönerlerse, atalarına verdiğin ülkelerine, seçtiğin kente ve adına yaptırdığım tapınağına yönelip dua ederlerse,
And they will return to you with all heart their and with all being their in [the] land of enemies their who they have taken captive them and they will pray to you [the] direction of land their which you gave to ancestors their the city which you have chosen and the house which (I have built *Q(K)*) for name your.
49 göklerden, oturduğun yerden dualarına, yakarışlarına kulak ver, onları kurtar.
And you will hear the heavens [the] place dwelling you prayer their and supplication their and you will do justice their.
50 Sana karşı günah işlemiş olan halkını ve işledikleri bütün suçları bağışla. Düşmanlarının onlara acımasını sağla.
And you will forgive people your who they have sinned to you and all transgressions their which they transgressed against you and you will make them into [objects of] compassion before captors their and they will have compassion on them.
51 Çünkü onlar demir eritme ocağından, Mısır'dan çıkardığın kendi halkın, kendi mirasındır.
For [are] people your and inheritance your they whom you brought out from Egypt from [the] midst of [the] furnace of iron.
52 “Sana her yalvarışlarında onlara kulak ver, bu kulunun ve halkın İsrail'in yalvarışlarını dinle.
To be eyes your open to [the] supplication of servant your and to [the] supplication of people your Israel to listen to them in all calling they to you.
53 Ey Egemen RAB, atalarımızı Mısır'dan çıkardığında kulun Musa aracılığıyla dediğin gibi, onları dünyanın bütün halkları arasından kendine miras olarak seçtin.”
For you you have separated them for yourself to an inheritance from all [the] peoples of the earth just as you spoke by [the] hand of - Moses servant your when bringing out you ancestors our from Egypt O Lord Yahweh.
54 Süleyman, RAB'be duasını ve yalvarışını bitirince, elleri göklere açık, dizleri üzerine çökmüş olduğu RAB'bin sunağının önünden kalktı.
And it was - when had finished Solomon to pray to Yahweh all the prayer and the supplication this he stood up from to before [the] altar of Yahweh from bowing down on knees his and palms his [were] spread out the heavens.
55 Ayakta durup bütün İsrail topluluğunu yüksek sesle şöyle kutsadı:
And he stood and he blessed all [the] assembly of Israel a voice great saying.
56 “Sözünü tutup halkı İsrail'e esenlik veren RAB'be övgüler olsun. Kulu Musa aracılığıyla verdiği iyi sözlerin hiçbiri boşa çıkmadı.
[be] blessed Yahweh who he has given a resting place to people his Israel according to all that he has spoken not it has fallen a word one from every word his good which he spoke by [the] hand of Moses servant his.
57 Tanrımız RAB atalarımızla olduğu gibi bizimle de olsun ve bizi hiç bırakmasın, bizden ayrılmasın.
May he be Yahweh God our with us just as he was with ancestors our may not he forsake us and may not he abandon us.
58 Bütün yollarını izlememiz, atalarımıza verdiği buyruklara, kurallara, ilkelere uymamız için RAB yüreklerimizi kendine yöneltsin.
To incline heart our to him to walk in all ways his and to keep commandments his and statutes his and judgments his which he commanded ancestors our.
59 Ya RAB Tanrımız, önünde yalvarırken söylediğim bu sözleri gece gündüz anımsa. Kulunu ve halkın İsrail'i her durumda koru.
And may they be words my these which I have sought favor before Yahweh near to Yahweh God our by day and night to do - [the] justice of servant his and [the] justice of people his Israel a matter of a day in day its.
60 Sonunda dünyanın bütün ulusları bilsinler ki, tek Tanrı RAB'dir ve O'ndan başka Tanrı yoktur.
So as to know all [the] peoples of the earth that Yahweh he [is] God there not [is] still more.
61 Bugünkü gibi O'nun kurallarına göre yaşamak ve buyruklarına uymak için bütün yüreğinizi Tanrımız RAB'be adayın.”
And it will be heart your complete with Yahweh God our to walk in statutes his and to keep commandments his as the day this.
62 Kral ve bütün İsrail halkı RAB'bin önünde kurban kestiler.
And the king and all Israel with him [were] sacrificing a sacrifice before Yahweh.
63 Süleyman, esenlik kurbanı olarak RAB'be yirmi iki bin sığır, yüz yirmi bin davar kurban etti. Böylece kral ve bütün İsrail halkı, RAB'bin Tapınağı'nı adama işini tamamlamış oldu.
And he sacrificed Solomon [the] sacrifice of the peace offerings which he sacrificed to Yahweh cattle twenty and two thousand and sheep one hundred and twenty thousand and they dedicated [the] house of Yahweh the king and all [the] people of Israel.
64 Aynı gün kral, tapınağın önündeki avlunun orta kısmını da kutsadı. Yakmalık sunuları, tahıl sunularını ve esenlik sunularının yağlarını orada sundu. Çünkü RAB'bin önündeki tunç sunak yakmalık sunuları, tahıl sunularını ve esenlik sunularının yağlarını alamayacak kadar küçüktü.
On the day that he consecrated the king [the] middle of the court which [was] before [the] house of Yahweh for he offered there the burnt offering and the grain offering and [the] fat of the peace offerings for [the] altar of bronze which [was] before Yahweh [was too] small for containing the burnt offering and the grain offering and [the] fat of the peace offerings.
65 Süleyman, Levo-Hamat'tan Mısır Vadisi'ne kadar her yerden gelen İsrailliler'in oluşturduğu büyük toplulukla birlikte Tanrımız RAB'bin önünde art arda yedişer gün, toplam on dört gün bayram yaptı.
And he observed Solomon at the time that - the festival and all Israel with him an assembly great from Lebo Hamath - to [the] wadi of Egypt before Yahweh God our seven days and seven days four-teen day[s].
66 Kral sekizinci gün halkı evlerine gönderdi. Onlar da kralı kutsayıp RAB'bin, kulu Davut ve halkı İsrail için yapmış olduğu bütün iyiliklerden dolayı sevinç duyarak mutluluk içinde evlerine döndüler.
On the day eighth he sent away the people and they blessed the king and they went to tents their joyful and good of heart on all the good which he had done Yahweh to David servant his and to Israel people his.
