And 'Uzzi begat Zerachyah, and Zerachyah begat Merayoth,
7 Amarya Merayot'un, Ahituv Amarya'nın,
Merayoth begat Amaryah, and Amaryah begat Achitub,
8 Sadok Ahituv'un, Ahimaas Sadok'un,
And Achitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Achima'az,
9 Azarya Ahimaas'ın, Yohanan Azarya'nın,
And Achima'az begat 'Azaryah, and 'Azaryah begat Jochanan,
10 Azarya Yohanan'ın oğluydu. –Süleyman'ın Yeruşalim'de yaptığı tapınakta kâhinlik eden oydu.–
And Jochanan begat 'Azaryah, he it is that officiated as priest in the house that Solomon had built in Jerusalem;
11 Amarya Azarya'nın, Ahituv Amarya'nın,
And 'Azaryah begat Amaryah, and Amaryah begat Achitub,
12 Sadok Ahituv'un, Şallum Sadok'un,
And Achitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,
13 Hilkiya Şallum'un, Azarya Hilkiya'nın,
And Shallum begat Chilkiyah, and Chilkiyah begat 'Azaryah,
14 Seraya Azarya'nın, Yehosadak Seraya'nın oğluydu.
And 'Azaryah begat Serayah, and Serayah begat Jehozadak,
15 RAB Nebukadnessar aracılığıyla Yahuda ve Yeruşalim halkını sürdüğünde Yehosadak da sürgüne gitmişti.
And Jehozadak went away, when the Lord carried Judah and Jerusalem into exile through the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

17 Gerşon'un oğulları: Livni, Şimi.
And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni, and Shim'i.
18 Kehat'ın oğulları: Amram, Yishar, Hevron, Uzziel.
And the sons of Kehath were, 'Amram, and Yizhar, and Chebron, and 'Uzziel.
19 Merari'nin oğulları: Mahli, Muşi. Soylarına göre yazılan Levi oymağının boyları şunlardır:
The sons of Merari: Machli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.

21 Yoah Zimma'nın, İddo Yoah'ın, Zerah İddo'nun, Yeateray Zerah'ın oğluydu.

22 Kehat'ın soyu: Amminadav Kehat'ın, Korah Amminadav'ın, Assir Korah'ın,
The sons of Kehath: 'Amminadab his son, Korach his son, Assir his son,
23 Elkana Assir'in, Evyasaf Elkana'nın, Assir Evyasaf'ın,
Elkanah his son, and Ebyassaph his son, and Assir his son,
24 Tahat Assir'in, Uriel Tahat'ın, Uzziya Uriel'in, Şaul Uzziya'nın oğluydu.
Tachath his son, Uriel his son, 'Uzziyah his son, and Saul his son.
25 Elkana'nın öbür oğulları: Amasay, Ahimot.
And the sons of Elkanah: 'Amassai, and Achimoth,

And the sons of Samuel: the first-born Vashni, and Abiyah.

30 Şima Uzza'nın, Hagiya Şima'nın, Asaya Hagiya'nın oğluydu.
Shim'a his son, Chaggiyah his son, 'Assayah his son.
31 Antlaşma Sandığı RAB'bin Tapınağı'na taşındıktan sonra Davut'un orada görevlendirdiği ezgiciler şunlardır.
And these are those whom David appointed for the purpose of conducting the singing in the house of the Lord, after the ark had a resting-place.

And they ministered before the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation with singing, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they acted according to their prescribed manner in their service.

And these are those that so acted with their sons. Of the sons of the Kehathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
The son of Elkanah, the son of Jerocham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toach,
The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Machath, the son of 'Amassai,
The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of 'Azaryah, the son of Zephanyah,
The son of Tachath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebyassaph, the son of Korach,
The son of Yizhar, the son of Kehath, the son at Levi, the son of Israel.

And his relative Assaph was he, who stood on his right hand, [even] Assaph the son of Berachyah, the son of Shim'a,
The son of Michael, the son of Ba'asseyah, the son of Malkiyah,
The son of Ethni, the son of Zerach, the son of 'Adayah.
The son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shim'i,
The son of Jachath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

And their brethren the sons of Merari [stood] on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of 'Abdi, the son of Malluch,
The son of Chashabyah, the son of Amazyah, the son of Chilkiyah,
The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,
The son of Machli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

And these are their dwelling-places with their castles in their boundaries; unto the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kehathites; for theirs was the [first] lot, —

And they gave unto them Hebron in the land of Judah, with its open spaces round about it.
56 Kentin tarlalarıyla köyleri ise Yefunne oğlu Kalev'e verildi.
But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son Jephunneh.
57 Sığınak kent seçilen Hevron, Livna, Yattir, Eştemoa, Hilen, Devir, Aşan, Yutta, Beytşemeş kentleriyle bunların otlakları Harunoğulları'na verildi.
And to the sons of Aaron they gave [of] the cities of refuge Hebron, and Libnah with its open spaces, and Jattir, and Eshthemoa, with its open spaces.
And Chilen with its open spaces, Debir with its open spaces,
And 'Ashan with its open spaces, and Beth-shemesh with its open spaces.
60 Benyamin oymağından da Givon, Geva, Alemet, Anatot ve bunların otlakları verildi. Kehat boylarına verilen bu kentlerin toplam sayısı on üçtü.
And from the tribe of Benjamin, Geba' with its open spaces, and 'Alemeth with its open spaces, and 'Anathoth with its open spaces. And all their cities were thirteen cities after their families.
61 Geri kalan Kehatoğulları'na Manaşşe oymağının yarısına ait boylardan alınan on kent kurayla verildi.
And unto the sons of Kehath that were left of the family of that tribe, [were given] from the half tribe, the half tribe of Menasseh, by lot, ten cities.
62 Gerşonoğulları'na boy sayısına göre İssakar, Aşer, Naftali ve Başan'daki Manaşşe oymağından alınan on üç kent verildi.
And to the sons or Gershom after their families, from the tribe of Issachar, and from the tribe of Asher, and from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the tribe of Menasseh in Bashan, [were given] thirteen cities.
63 Merarioğulları'na boy sayısına göre Ruben, Gad ve Zevulun oymaklarından alınan on iki kent kurayla verildi.
Unto the sons of Merari after their families, from the tribe of Reuben, and from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun, [were given] by lot, twelve cities.
64 İsrailliler bu kentleri otlaklarıyla birlikte Levililer'e verdiler.
And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their open spaces.
65 Yahuda, Şimon, Benyamin oymaklarından alınan ve yukarıda adları sayılan kentler kurayla verildi.
And they gave by lot from the tribe of the children of Judah, and from the tribe of the children of Simeon, and from the tribe of the children of Benjamin these cities, which they called by names.
66 Kehat boyundan bazı ailelere Efrayim oymağından alınan kentler verildi.
And some of the families of the sons of Kehath had the cities of their territory from the tribe of Ephraim.
67 Efrayim dağlık bölgesinde sığınak kent seçilen Şekem, Gezer, Yokmoam, Beythoron, Ayalon, Gat-Rimmon ve bunların otlakları verildi.
And they gave unto them, [of] the cities of refuge Sechem with its open spaces in the mountain of Ephraim, and Gezer with its open spaces.
And Jokme'am with its open spaces, and Beth-choron with its open spaces,
And Ayalon with its open spaces, and Gath-rimmon with its open spaces.
70 İsrailliler Manaşşe oymağının yarısından alınan Aner, Bilam ve bunların otlaklarını Kehat boyunun öbür ailelerine verdiler.
And from the half tribe of Menasseh: 'Aner with its open spaces: and Bil'am with its open spaces, for the family of the remaining portion of the sons of Kehath.
71 Aşağıdaki kentler Gerşonoğulları'na verildi: Manaşşe oymağının yarısına ait Başan'daki Golan, Aştarot ve bunların otlakları.
Unto the sons of Gershom [were given] from the family of the half tribe of Menasseh, Golan in Bashan with its open spaces, and 'Ashtaroth with its open spaces.
72 İssakar oymağından Kedeş, Daverat, Ramot, Anem ve bunların otlakları.
And from the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh with its open spaces, Dobrath with its open spaces,
And Ramoth with its open spaces, and 'Anem with its open spaces.
74 Aşer oymağından Maşal, Avdon, Hukok, Rehov ve bunların otlakları.
And from the tribe of Asher: Mashal with its open spaces, and 'Abdon with its open spaces,
And Chukok with its open spaces, and Rechob with its open spaces.
76 Naftali oymağından Celile'deki Kedeş, Hammon, Kiryatayim ve bunların otlakları.
And from the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee with its open spaces, and Chammon with its open spaces, and Kiryathayim with its open spaces.
77 Merarioğulları'na –geri kalan Levililer'e– aşağıdaki kentler verildi: Zevulun oymağından Rimmono, Tavor ve bunların otlakları.
Unto the remaining portion of the children of Merari [were given] from the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with its open spaces, Tabor with its open spaces.
78 Ruben oymağından Eriha'nın ötesinde, Şeria Irmağı'nın doğusundaki kırda bulunan Beser, Yahsa, Kedemot, Mefaat ve bunların otlakları.
And on the other side the Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, from the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with its open spaces, and Jahzah with its open spaces,
And Kedemoth with its open spaces, and Mepha'ath with its open spaces.
80 Gad oymağından Gilat'taki Ramot, Mahanayim, Heşbon, Yazer ve bunların otlakları.
And from the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gila'd with its open spaces, and Machanayim with its open spaces.
And Cheshbon with its open spaces, and Ja'azer with its open spaces.
