Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites [was] Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
2 Meşelemya'nın oğulları: İlk oğlu Zekeriya, ikincisi Yediael, üçüncüsü Zevadya, dördüncüsü Yatniel,
And the sons of Meshelemiah [were], Zechariah the first-born, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3 beşincisi Elam, altıncısı Yehohanan, yedincisi Elyehoenay.
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.
4 Ovet-Edom'un oğulları: İlk oğlu Şemaya, ikincisi Yehozavat, üçüncüsü Yoah, dördüncüsü Sakâr, beşincisi Netanel,
Moreover the sons of Obed-edom [were], Shemaiah the first-born, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,
5 altıncısı Ammiel, yedincisi İssakar, sekizincisi Peulletay. Çünkü Tanrı Ovet-Edom'u kutsamıştı.
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.
6 Ovet-Edom'un oğlu Şemaya'nın oğulları vardı. Bunlar yetenekli olduklarından boy başlarıydılar.
Also to Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they [were] mighty men of valor.

The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren [were] strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.

All these of the sons of Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, [were] sixty and two of Obed-edom.

And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.
10 Merarioğulları'ndan Hosa'nın oğulları: İlki Şimri'ydi. –Şimri ilk oğul olmadığı halde babası onu önder atamıştı.–
Also Hosah of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for [though] he was not the first-born, yet his father made him the chief; )
11 İkincisi Hilkiya, üçüncüsü Tevalya, dördüncüsü Zekeriya. Hosa'nın oğullarıyla akrabalarının toplamı 13 kişiydi.
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah [were] thirteen.
12 RAB'bin Tapınağı'nda Levili kardeşleri gibi görev yapan kapı nöbetçisi bölükler ve başlarındaki adamlar bunlardır.
Among these [were] the divisions of the porters, [even] among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.
13 Her kapı için her aile büyük, küçük ayırmadan kura çekti.
And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.
14 Kurada Doğu Kapısı Şelemya'ya düştü. Sonra bilge bir danışman olan oğlu Zekeriya için kura çekildi. Ona Kuzey Kapısı düştü.
And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counselor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
15 Güney Kapısı Ovet-Edom'a, depo için çekilen kura da oğullarına düştü.
To obed-edom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.
16 Batı Kapısı ile yukarı yol üzerindeki Şalleket Kapısı için çekilen kuralar Şuppim'le Hosa'ya düştü. Her ailenin nöbet zamanları sırayla birbirini izliyordu.
To Shuppim and Hosah [the lot came forth] westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the way of the ascent, ward against ward.

Eastward [were] six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and towards Asuppim, two [and] two.

At Parbar westward, four at the causey, [and] two at Parbar.
19 Korah ve Merari soyundan gelen kapı nöbetçilerinin bölükleri bunlardı.
These [are] the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.
20 Levili Ahiya Tanrı'nın Tapınağı'nın hazinelerinden ve Tanrı'ya adanmış armağanlardan sorumluydu.
And of the Levites, Ahijah [was] over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
21 Ladanoğulları: Ladan soyundan gelen Gerşonoğulları, Ladan boyunun boy başları Gerşonlu Yehieli ve oğullarıydı.
[As concerning] the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, [even] of Laadan the Gershonite, [were] Jehieli.
22 Yehieli'nin oğulları: Zetam'la kardeşi Yoel. Bunlar RAB'bin Tapınağı'nın hazinelerinden sorumluydu.
The sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, [who were] over the treasures of the house of the LORD.
23 Amram, Yishar, Hevron, Uzziel soylarından şu kişilere görev verildi:
Of the Amramites, [and] the Izharites, the Hebronites, [and] the Uzzielites:
24 Musa oğlu Gerşom'un soyundan Şevuel tapınak hazinelerinin baş sorumlusuydu.
And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, [was] ruler of the treasures.
25 Eliezer soyundan gelen kardeşleri: Rehavya Eliezer'in oğluydu, Yeşaya Rehavya'nın oğluydu, Yoram Yeşaya'nın oğluydu, Zikri Yoram'ın oğluydu, Şelomit Zikri'nin oğluydu.
And his brethren by Eliezer; Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.
26 Şelomit'le kardeşleri boy başlarının, Kral Davut'un binbaşılarının, yüzbaşılarının ve öbür ordu komutanlarının verdiği armağanların saklandığı hazinelerden sorumluydular.
Which Shelomith and his brethren [were] over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.
27 Bunlar savaşta yağmalanan mallardan bir kısmını RAB'bin Tapınağı'nın onarımı için ayırdılar.
Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the LORD.
28 Bilici Samuel'in, Kiş oğlu Saul'un, Ner oğlu Avner'in, Seruya oğlu Yoav'ın verdiği armağanlarla öbür armağanlardan da Şelomit'le kardeşleri sorumluydu.
And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; [and] whoever had dedicated [any thing], [it was] under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.
29 Yisharlılar'dan: Kenanya ile oğulları İsrail'de memur ve yargıç olarak tapınak dışındaki işlere bakmakla görevlendirildiler.
Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons [were] for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30 Hevronlular'dan: Haşavya ile kardeşleri –bin yedi yüz yiğit adam– RAB'bin işlerine ve kralın hizmetine bakmak için İsrail'in Şeria Irmağı'nın batı yakasında kalan bölgesine atanmıştı.
[And] of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valor, a thousand and seven hundred, [were] officers among them of Israel on this side of Jordan westward in all the business of the LORD, and in the service of the king.
31 Aile soy kütüğündeki kayıtlara göre Yeriya Hevronlular'ın boy başıydı. Davut'un krallığının kırkıncı yılında kayıtlar incelendi ve Gilat'taki Yazer'de Hevronlular arasında yiğit savaşçılar bulundu.
Among the Hebronites [was] Jerijah the chief, [even] among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valor at Jazer of Gilead.

And his brethren, men of valor, [were] two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.
