These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah, Issachar and Zebulun,

2 Dan, Yusuf, Benyamin, Naftali, Gad, Aşer.

Dan, Joseph and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad and Asher.

3 Yahuda'nın oğulları: Er, Onan, Şela. Bu üç oğulu Yahuda'ya Kenanlı Şua'nın kızı doğurdu. Yahuda'nın ilk oğlu Er, RAB'bin gözünde kötüydü. Bu yüzden RAB onu öldürdü.

The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah: [which] three were born to him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of Jehovah; and he slew him.

And the sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.

And the sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the accursed thing.

And the sons of Hezron, who were born to him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

And Ram begot Amminadab; and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;

11 Salma Nahşon'un oğluydu. Boaz Salma'nın,

and Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz,

12 Ovet Boaz'ın, İşay Ovet'in oğluydu.

and Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;

13 İşay'ın yedi oğlu oldu: Birincisi Eliav, ikincisi Avinadav, üçüncüsü Şima,

and Jesse begot his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,

14 dördüncüsü Netanel, beşincisi Radday,

Ozem the sixth, David the seventh;

and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

And Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.

18 Hesron oğlu Kalev'in, karısı Azuva'dan ve Yeriot'tan oğulları oldu. Karısından doğan oğullar şunlardır: Yeşer, Şovav, Ardon.

And Caleb the son of Hezron had children by Azubah [his] wife, and by Jerioth: her sons are these: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

19 Azuva ölünce, Kalev kendisine Hur'u doğuran Efrat'la evlendi.

And Azubah died, and Caleb took him Ephrath, and she bore him Hur.

20 Uri Hur'un oğluydu, Besalel Uri'nin oğluydu.

And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezaleel.

21 Daha sonra Hesron, Gilat'ın babası Makir'in kızıyla yattı. Altmış yaşındayken evlendiği bu kadın ona Seguv'u doğurdu.

And afterwards Hezron went to the daughter of Machir, the father of Gilead, and he took her when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub.

22 Yair Seguv'un oğluydu; Gilat ülkesinde yirmi üç kenti vardı.

And Segub begot Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead;

23 Ama Geşur'la Aram Havvot-Yair'i ve Kenat ile çevresindeki köyleri, toplam altmış kenti ele geçirdiler. Buralarda yaşayan bütün halk Gilat'ın babası Makir'in soyundandı.

and Geshur and Aram took the villages of Jair from them, with Kenath and its dependent towns, sixty cities. All these were sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

24 Hesron Kalev-Efrata'da öldükten sonra, karısı Aviya Tekoa'nın kurucusu olan Aşhur'u doğurdu.

And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, Abijah, Hezron's wife, bore him Ashhur, the father of Tekoa.

25 Hesron'un ilk oğlu Yerahmeel'in oğulları: İlk oğlu Ram, Buna, Oren, Osem, Ahiya.

And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were: Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, of Ahijah.

26 Yerahmeel'in Atara adında başka bir karısı vardı; O da Onam'ın annesiydi.

And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

27 Yerahmeel'in ilk oğlu Ram'ın oğulları: Maas, Yamin, Eker.

And the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.

28 Onam'ın oğulları: Şammay, Yada. Şammay'ın oğulları: Nadav, Avişur.

And the sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.

29 Avişur'un Avihayil adında bir karısı vardı; ona Ahban'ı ve Molit'i doğurdu.

And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Molid.

30 Nadav'ın oğulları: Selet, Appayim. Selet çocuksuz öldü.

And the sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; and Seled died without sons.

31 Appayim'in oğlu: Yişi. Yişi'nin oğlu: Şeşan. Şeşan'ın oğlu: Ahlay.

And the sons of Appaim: Jishi; and the sons of Jishi: Sheshan; and the sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.

32 Şammay'ın kardeşi Yada'nın oğulları: Yeter ve Yonatan. Yeter çocuksuz öldü.

And the sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died without sons.

33 Yonatan'ın oğulları: Pelet, Zaza. Bunlar Yerahmeel'in soyundan geliyordu.

And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

34 Şeşan'ın oğlu olmadıysa da kızları vardı. Şeşan'ın Yarha adında Mısırlı bir uşağı vardı.

And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters; and Sheshan had an Egyptian servant, whose name was Jarha;

35 Şeşan kızını uşağı Yarha'yla evlendirdi. Kadın ona Attay'ı doğurdu.

and Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant as wife, and she bore him Attai.

36 Natan Attay'ın oğluydu. Zavat Natan'ın,

And Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad,

37 Eflal Zavat'ın, Ovet Eflal'ın,

and Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed,

38 Yehu Ovet'in, Azarya Yehu'nun,

and Obed begot Jehu, and Jehu begot Azariah,

39 Heles Azarya'nın, Elasa Heles'in,

and Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Elasah,

40 Sismay Elasa'nın, Şallum Sismay'ın,

and Elasah begot Sismai, and Sismai begot Shallum,

41 Yekamya Şallum'un, Elişama Yekamya'nın oğluydu.

and Shallum begot Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begot Elishama.

42 Yerahmeel'in kardeşi Kalev'in oğulları: İlk oğlu Zif'in kurucusu Meşa ve Hevron'un kurucusu Meraşa.

And the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43 Hevron'un oğulları: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, Şema.

And the sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

44 Raham Şema'nın oğluydu. Yorkoam Raham'ın, Şammay Rekem'in,

And Shema begot Raham, the father of Jorkeam. And Rekem begot Shammai;

45 Maon Şammay'ın oğluydu. Beytsur'un kurucusu Maon'du.

and the son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.

46 Kalev'in cariyesi Efa ona Haran'ı, Mosa'yı ve Gazez'i doğurdu. Gazez Haran'ın oğluydu.

And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.

47 Yahday'ın oğulları: Regem, Yotam, Geşan, Pelet, Efa, Şaaf.

And the sons of Jehdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.

48 Kalev'in öbür cariyesi Maaka ona Şever'i ve Tirhana'yı doğurdu.

Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah;

49 Maaka Madmanna'nın kurucusu Şaaf'ı, Makbena ve Giva'nın kurucusu Şeva'yı da doğurdu. Kalev'in Aksa adında bir de kızı oldu.

and she bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena and the father of Gibea. And the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.

50 Kalev'in soyundan gelenler: Efrat'ın ilk oğlu Hur'un oğulları: Kiryat-Yearim'in kurucusu Şoval,

These are the sons of Caleb. The sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah: Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim,

51 Beytlehem'in kurucusu Salma, Beytgader'in kurucusu Haref.

Salma the father of Bethlehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.

52 Kiryat-Yearim'in kurucusu Şoval, Haroeliler'in ve Menuhot'ta yaşayan halkın yarısının atasıydı.

And Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim had sons: Haroeh, Hazi-Hammenuhoth.

53 Kiryat-Yearim'in boyları: Yeterliler, Pûtlular, Şumatlılar, Mişralılar. Soralılar'la Eştaollular da bu boyların soyundan geldi.

And the families of Kirjath-jearim were the Jithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zoreathites and the Eshtaolites.

54 Salma'nın soyundan gelenler: Beytlehemliler, Netofalılar, Atrot-Beytyoavlılar, Manahatlılar'ın yarısı ve Sorlular.

The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, and the Netophathites. Atroth-Beth-Joab, and the Hazi-Hammana-hethites, the Zorites;

55 Yabes'te yaşayan yazmanların boyları: Tiratlılar, Şimatlılar, Sukatlılar. Bunlar Rekav halkının atası Hammat'ın soyundan gelen Kenliler'dir.

and the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez: the Tireathites, the Shimeathites, the Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
