< Yəhye 4 >
1 Fariseyaaşik'le I'see, Cus Yəhyeyle geeb telebabı sav'u, gicərxı'iybı alyat'a'ava g'ayxhiyn.
Therefore when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptising more disciples than John
2 Yic gicərxı'iybı I'see deş, Cune telebabışe alyat'a'a ıxha.
(although Jesus himself didn’t baptise, but his disciples),
3 I'sayk'le, Cune hək'ee yuşan haa'ava g'ayxhımee, Yahudeyayeençe qığeç'u Galileyeeqa meer ayk'an.
he left Judea and departed into Galilee.
4 Mang'una yəq Samariyeençe ı'lğəə vuxha.
He needed to pass through Samaria.
5 Mana, Yaaq'ubee cune dixes Yusufus huvuyne cigabışis k'anene Samariyeyne Sixar eyhene şahareeqa qarayle.
So he came to a city of Samaria called Sychar, near the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 Yaaq'ubna kahrızıb mane cigabışe vob. Yəqqı'n I'sa ozar hı'ıva, Mana mane kahrızısne giy'ar. Mana yı'q'ı'hiyna gah vuxha.
Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being tired from his journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour.
7 Kahrızısqa xhyan alqahasva sa Samariyeençena xhunaşşe ayreele. I'see məng'ı'k'le, «Hucoona ixhes, Zas ulyoğasın xhyan heleva» eyhe.
A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.”
8 Mane gahıl, Mang'un telebabı oxhanasın kar alişşesva şahareeqa apk'ın vooxhe.
For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
9 Samariyeeğançena xhunaşşee Mang'uke qiyghanan: – Ğu Yahudiy vorna, zımee Samariyeençena zəiyfa. Nəxüd Ğu zake xhyan heqqayiy? (Yahudeeşeyiy Samariyeebışe sana-sang'uka işbı g'ece ıxha deş.)
The Samaritan woman therefore said to him, “How is it that you, being a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)
10 I'see məng'ı's inəxdın alidghıniy qele: – Vak'le Allahna payiy «Zas ulyoğas xhyan heleva» Uvhuna vuşu ıxhay ats'a deş. Vak'le Zı vuşu ıxhay ats'axhaynxhiy, ğucadniy Zake xhyan heqqas. Zınad vas ı'mı'r hoolen xhyanniy heles.
Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”
11 Zəiyfee Mang'uk'le eyhen: – Xərna, Vaqa xhyan alqahasın g'abıd deşin, kahrızıb k'oraba vob. Vas nençene ı'mı'r hoolen xhyan ixhes?
The woman said to him, “Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. So where do you get that living water?
12 Nya'a Ğu, ina kahrız şas g'alepçiyne yişde dekkaaşina eyxhene Yaaq'ubuler ooqanane vor? Mang'veeyid cune dixbışed, cune çavra-vəq'əynıd inençe xhyan ulyodğu.
Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his children and his livestock?”
13 I'see məng'ı's inəxdın alidghıniy qele: – İne xhineke ulyodğuyng'us meed xhyan ıkkiykanan.
Jesus answered her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again,
14 Zıme helesde xhineke şavaa ulyodğveene, mang'us sayid xhyan mısacad ıkkiykanas deş. Zı huvuyn xhyan mang'une ad gırgıne gahbışis ı'mı'r hoolene xhyan ı'lqəəne cigalqa sak'alas. (aiōn , aiōnios )
but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
15 Zəiyfee Mang'uk'le eyhen: – Xərna, zas məxdın xhyan hele, zas sayid xhyan ıkmiykancen, zınar xhyan alqahasva inyaqa ayres gimeexhacen.
The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I don’t get thirsty, neither come all the way here to draw.”
16 I'see zəiyfayk'le eyhen: – Yeera, adamiyır qort'ul, inyaqa qeera.
Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”
17 Zəiyfee Mang'uk'le eyhen: – Zaqa adamiy deşda. I'see məng'ı'k'le eyhen: – «Adamiy deşdava» ğu qotkuda eyhe.
The woman answered, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You said well, ‘I have no husband,’
18 Vaqa xhoyre adamiy ıxha, həşder vaka sa xaa eyxhenar, yiğna adamiy eyxhe deş, ğu man qotkuda eyhe.
for you have had five husbands; and he whom you now have is not your husband. This you have said truly.”
19 Zəiyfee Mang'uk'le eyhen: – Xərna, zak'le g'ecen Ğu peyğambarır.
The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.
20 Yişde dekkaaşe ine suval ı'bəədatniy ha'an. Şumee, Yahudeebışe, eyhen, ı'bəədat ha'asın ciga İyerusalim vodun.
Our fathers worshipped in this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.”
21 I'see məng'ı'k'le eyhen: – Zəiyfa, Zal k'ırı alixhxhe, məxbına gah qavaales, Yizde Dekkıs ı'bəədat ine suvaylid İyerusalimıd ha'as deş.
Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
22 Şu, Samariyeebışe nişismecad ı'bəədat ha'ava şok'le ats'a deş. Şak'leme şi nişisiy ı'bəədat ha'ava, ats'an. Yic, g'attipxhıniyıd şaken, Yahudeeşiken vod.
You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.
23 Gah qavaalesda, mana qabınab, yik'eençe ı'bəədat ha'anbışe, Dekkis hək'eda Mang'une Rı'hı's sik'ı ı'bəədat ha'as. Dekkeeyib Cus məxüd ı'bəədat ha'anbı t'abal haa'a.
But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers.
24 Allah Rı'h vorna. Mang'us ı'bəədat ha'anbışe hək'eda Rı'hı's sik'ı ı'bəədat ha'as ıkkan.
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
25 Zəiyfee Mang'uk'le eyhen: – Zak'le ats'an, Masixhva eyhena qales. («Masixh» q'ış Qadğuna eyhen vod.) Mana qarımee, Mang'vee şas gırgın yuşan ha'asın.
The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming, he who is called Christ. When he has come, he will declare to us all things.”
26 I'see məng'ı'k'le eyhen: – Zı Mana vor, vaka yuşan ha'ana.
Jesus said to her, “I am he, the one who speaks to you.”
27 Mane gahıl I'sayn telebabı siviyk'al. Manbışik'le Mana zəiyfayka yuşan ha'a g'acu, mançile mateepxheeyıb, Mang'uke neng'vecad «Hucoona Vas məngı'ke ıkkan?» «Nya'a mane zəiyfayka yuşan ha'ava?» qiyghan deş.
Just then, his disciples came. They marvelled that he was speaking with a woman; yet no one said, “What are you looking for?” or, “Why do you speak with her?”
28 Manke zəiyfee xıledın parç ç'iyelqa gixhxhı, şahareeqa qarı, insanaaşik'le eyhen:
So the woman left her water pot, went away into the city, and said to the people,
29 – Qudoora, zı hı'iyn gırgın zas yuşan hı'ına, İnsan g'ace. Deşxhee, Masixh Mananiyxan vor?
“Come, see a man who told me everything that I have done. Can this be the Christ?”
30 İnsanar şahareençe qığeepç'ı I'saysqa qavayle.
They went out of the city, and were coming to him.
31 Mane gahıl Mang'une telebabışe «Hucoona ixhes, Mə'əllim, sık'ınin kar oxhneva» eyhe.
In the meanwhile, the disciples urged him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”
32 I'seeme manbışik'le eyhen: – Zaqa məxdın otxhuniy vod, şok'le man ats'a deş.
But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you don’t know about.”
33 Manke telebabışe sana-sang'uke «Şavamecad Mang'us otxhanan adıyniyxanva?» qiyghan.
The disciples therefore said to one another, “Has anyone brought him something to eat?”
34 I'see manbışik'le eyhen: – Yizın otxhuniy, Zı G'axuvuyng'vee uvhuyn hı'iyiy Mang'una iş bə'əttam hav'uy vodun.
Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.
35 Şu «Yoq'ne vuzale qiyşalasınbıva» eyhe. Zıme şok'le eyhen, vuk'ulybı ooqa qı'ı, çolbışiqa ilyaake, manbı hitxhırıd, qiyşalasınbı xhinnevud qeetxha!
Don’t you say, ‘There are yet four months until the harvest’? Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already.
36 Qiviyşalang'vee cuna hək' alyabat'a, mang'vee şagav sa'a. Man şagav gırgıne gahbışisda ı'mı'r alyapt'ıyn insanar vob. Oozunar, qiviyşalnar sacigee şadepxhesınbı. (aiōnios )
He who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit to eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. (aiōnios )
37 Manke mane işis sik'ı uvhuyn cuvab «Sang'vee oozanaxhe, mansang'veeyib qiviyşalnaxheva» qotkun vodun.
For in this the saying is true, ‘One sows, and another reaps.’
38 Zı şu, şu əq'üba idyopxhuniyn, şagav qiyşalas g'axuvu. Mebınbışe əq'üba opxhun, şume manbışe əq'übayka ezuynçin şagav alyaat'u.
I sent you to reap that for which you haven’t laboured. Others have laboured, and you have entered into their labour.”
39 Mane zəiyfee «Mang'vee, zı hı'iyn gırgın işbı zak'le uvhuynbıva» Samariyebışik'le uvhu. Manke mane şaharee vooxhene geebne insanaaşe I'salqa inyam ha'a.
From that city many of the Samaritans believed in him because of the word of the woman, who testified, “He told me everything that I have done.”
40 Qiyğa Samariyebı I'sayne k'anyaqa abı, Mang'us miz k'yaa'a, sik'ırra cone k'ane axveceva. Manar maa'ar q'ölle yiğna axvana.
So when the Samaritans came to him, they begged him to stay with them. He stayed there two days.
41 I'see eyhenbı g'ayxhı, Mang'ulqa inyam ha'anbı sık'ılbab geeb qeepxha.
Many more believed because of his word.
42 Samariyebışe zəiyfayk'le eyhe ıxha: – Şi saccu ğu uvhuyne cuvabıl-allacad deş Mang'ulqa inyam ha'a. Həşde şak'led g'ayxhiyn, ats'axhxhaynıd hək'erar İna dyunye g'attixhan ha'asda vor.
They said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of your speaking; for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.”
43 Q'öne yiğıle, I'sa mançe Galileyayne suralqa ayk'an.
After the two days he went out from there and went into Galilee.
44 Mang'vee Vucecadniy uvhu, peyğambarıqa vuc yedike ıxhayne cigabışee hı'rmat voxhena deşva.
For Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honour in his own country.
45 I'sa Galileyeeqa qarımee, Galileyğançenbışe Mana q'abıl ha'ana. Manbışik'le İyerusalim bayramnang'a Mang'vee hı'iyn gırgın kar g'acuyn.
So when he came into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast, for they also went to the feast.
46 I'sa xhyan çaxırelqa sak'al hı'iyne Galileyayne Kana eyhene xiveeqa sayır araylena. Kefernahumeene paççahne insanıqa sa dix eyxhe, vucur ık'ar eyxhe.
Jesus came therefore again to Cana of Galilee, where he made the water into wine. There was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.
47 Mang'uk'le, I'sa Yahudeyayeençe Galileyeeqa arıva g'ayxhımee, mana I'saysqa arı, Mang'us miz k'yaa'a, cong'əə arı, cuna qek'ana dix yug qe'eva.
When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to him and begged him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.
48 I'see mang'uk'le eyhen: – Şok'le əlaamatbıyiy gorsatmabı g'acesmee, şu inyam ha'as deş.
Jesus therefore said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders, you will in no way believe.”
49 Paççahne insanee Mang'uk'le eyhen: – Xərna, yizda dix qik'asse ayre!
The nobleman said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”
50 I'see mang'uk'le eyhen: – Hoora, yiğna dix axvasda. Mane insaneeyid I'sayne cuvabılqa inyam hı'ı ayk'anna.
Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your son lives.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.
51 G'ulluxçer mang'une ögilqa abı, yiğna dix üç'ür vorva eyheng'a, Mana yəqqəniy vor.
As he was going down, his servants met him and reported, saying “Your child lives!”
52 Mang'vee manbışike «Yizda dix mısane yug qexhe girğılyva» qiyghan. Manbışe eyhen: – Sanıxha sə'ət sançil mang'un gyorxhuniy k'ıl qıxha.
So he enquired of them the hour when he began to get better. They said therefore to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour, the fever left him.”
53 Dekkılqa hiyxharan, I'see mane gahılyniy «Hoora, yiğna dix axvasdava» uvhu. Manke vuceeyid, cune xaane gırgınbışeb I'salqa inyam ha'a.
So the father knew that it was at that hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” He believed, as did his whole house.
54 Man I'see Yahudeyeençe Galileyeeqa arıyle qiyğa haguyn q'öd'esın əlaamatniy vod.
This is again the second sign that Jesus did, having come out of Judea into Galilee.
