1 Ts'etta Allahee xəybıyiy ç'iye itxhın.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Ç'iye aq'vabıdena q'əradniy vod. K'orane xhyanbışin oodun ciga miç'axdaniy vod. Allahın Rı'h xhyanbışil ooadniy alcaxxva.
The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.
3 Allahee uvhuyn: «Hasre işiğ ixhecen». İşiğ ıxhayn.
God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
4 Allahık'le g'acuyn, işiğ yugda vod. Qiyğa Mang'vee işiğ miç'axıyvalike cura'uyn.
God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.
5 Allahee işiğıs «yiğınyığ», miç'axıyvalis «xəm» dobı huvu. Xəm quvxha, miç'eediy qıxha; in ts'ettiyn yiğ ıxha.
God called the light “day”, and the darkness he called “night”. There was evening and there was morning, the first day.
6 Qiyğa Allahee uvhuyn: «Hasre xhyanbışde yı'q'nee arka vuxhecen, xhyanbı sana-sançike cure'ecen».
God said, “Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
7 Həməxüdud ıxhayn. Allahee arka haa'ana, arkayn, çik avuduniy oodun xhyanbı sana-sançike cura'anbı.
God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.
8 Allahee mane arkays «xəv» do huvu. Xəm quvxha, miç'eediy qıxha; in q'öd'esın yiğ ıxha.
God called the expanse “sky”. There was evening and there was morning, a second day.
9 Qiyğa Allahee uvhuyn: «Hasre xəək avudun xhyanbı sacigeeqa salecen, qeqquyn ciga g'acecen». Həməxüdud ıxhayn.
God said, “Let the waters under the sky be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear;” and it was so.
10 Allahee qeqquyne cigayk'le «ç'iye», xhyan sadıyne cigayk'lemee «deryahbıva» dobı huvu. Allahık'le g'acuyn, inəxüd yugda vod.
God called the dry land “earth”, and the gathering together of the waters he called “seas”. God saw that it was good.
11 Qiyğa Allahee uvhuyn: «Hasre ç'iyeyn aq'va xhınak qixhecen: toxumbınan ok'bı-alafbı, curayn-curayn meyvabı eyxhen yivar aleyle'ecen, toxumbıd meyvabışde ad ixhecen». Həməxüdud ıxhayn.
God said, “Let the earth yield grass, herbs yielding seeds, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with their seeds in it, on the earth;” and it was so.
12 Ç'iyeyne aq'vayn alabı aleyli'inbı: toxumbınan ok'bı-alafbı, curayn-curayn meyvabı eyxhen yivarıd alyadıynbı, toxumbıd meyvabışde ad ıxha. Allahık'le g'acuyn, inəxüd yugda vod.
The earth yielded grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, with their seeds in it, after their kind; and God saw that it was good.
13 Xəm quvxha, miç'eediy qıxha; in xhebıd'esın yiğ ıxha.
There was evening and there was morning, a third day.
14 Qiyğa Allahee uvhuyn: «Hasre xəəne arkee xəm yiğıke cura'an işiğbı ixhecen. Mançin fəsilbı, yiğbı, senbı hagvecen.
God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs to mark seasons, days, and years;
15 Hasre manbı xəə'əd işiğbı ıxha, ç'iyeylqa gyatk'vecen». Həməxüdud ıxhayn.
and let them be for lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth;” and it was so.
16 Allahee q'ölle xədın işartı ha'u: yiğınyiğ vuk'lek ıkkeecenva xədın işartı, xəm vuk'lek ıkkeecenva k'ıniyn işartı. Mang'vee xənebıd ha'uynbı.
God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He also made the stars.
17 Allahee manbı xəənə arkeqa gitk'ıniynbı, ç'iyeylqa işiğ gehecenva,
God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light to the earth,
18 yiğıy xəm vuk'lek ıkkeecenva, işiğıke miç'axvalla curee'ecenva. Allahık'le g'acuyn, inəxüd yugda vod.
and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. God saw that it was good.
19 Xəm quvxha, miç'eediy qıxha; in yoq'ud'esın yiğ ıxha.
There was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.
20 Qiyğa Allahee uvhuyn: «Hasre xhyanbı nafas ileşşene karbışikva gyats'ece, ç'iyeyl oo xəə xətta şit'yar aledxvecen».
God said, “Let the waters abound with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the sky.”
21 Allahee xhyanee eyxhen ç'ak'ın karbı, harne curaylin baluğar, gırgın hadağvan nafas helen karbı, mançika sacigee harne curaylin gırgın xılibışkan şit'yar itxhın. Allahık'le g'acuyn, inəxüd yugda vod.
God created the large sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind. God saw that it was good.
22 Allahee mançis xayir-düə huvu eyhen: «G'adı xət qetxhe, deryahbışeedın xhyanbı gyats'e'e; şit'yarıd ç'iyeyne aq'val geed qetxhecen».
God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”
23 Xəm quvxha, miç'eediy qıxha; in xhod'esın yiğ ıxha.
There was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.
24 Qiyğa Allahee uvhuyn: «Hasre ç'iyeyne aq'vayn harne curaylin nafas helen karbı: çavra-vəq'ə, hadağvan həyvanar, çolun həyvanar iyxhnecen». Həməxüdud ıxhayn.
God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures after their kind, livestock, creeping things, and animals of the earth after their kind;” and it was so.
25 Allahee curayn-curayn çolun həyvanar, çavra-vəq'ə, ç'iyeyl hadağvan, gırgın nafas helen həyvanar itxhıninbı. Allahık'le g'acuyn, inəxüd yugda vod.
God made the animals of the earth after their kind, and the livestock after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind. God saw that it was good.
26 Qiyğa Allahee uvhuyn: «Yişde k'op'yelyna, Şak akarana insan ixhanas. Hasre mang'vee deryahbışeene baluğaaşis, xəəne şit'yaaşis, çavra-vəq'əys, gırgıne ç'iyeyne aq'vays, ç'iyeyl hadağvane gırgınçis xəbvalla hee'ecen».
God said, “Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 Allahee insan Cune k'op'yeyl irxhın, Allahne k'op'yeyl irxhın, Adamiyiy zəiyfa ipxhın.
God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.
28 Allahee manbışis xayir-düə huvu, uvhuyn: «Vuxooxu geeb qepxhe, ç'iyeyn aq'va gyats'e'e, mana vuşda vob. Deryahbışeene baluğaaşis, xəəne şit'yaaşis, ç'iyeyl hadağvane gırgıne nafas helençis xəbvalla he'e».
God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
29 Allahee uvhuyn: «Haane, çiyeyne aq'val toxum hoolen ok'bıd-alafbıd, gırgıne yivaaşin meyvabı şos helenbı, oxhnecenva.
God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food.
30 Gırgıne ç'iyeylne həyvanaaşis, gırgıne xəəne şit'yaaşis, gırgıne hadağvançis – nençeeyiy ı'mren nafas vod, gırgınçıscad – Zı oxhnecenva xhınakın ok'bı helenbı». Həməxüdud ıxhayn.
To every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food;” and it was so.
31 Allahık'le g'ecen, itxhınin gırgın kar geed yugda vod. Xəm quvxha, miç'eediy qıxha; in yixhıd'esın yiğ ıxha.
God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. There was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.
