< Sakalaia 6 >
1 Pea naʻaku tafoki, ʻo hanga hake hoku mata, pea u sio, pea vakai, naʻe hā ʻae saliote ʻe fā ʻoku haʻu mei he vahaʻa ʻoe ongo moʻunga ʻe ua; pea ko e ongo moʻunga, ko e moʻunga palasa.
Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of bronze.
2 Naʻe ʻi he ʻuluaki saliote ʻae fanga hoosi kulokula; pea ko e fanga hoosi ʻuliʻuli ʻi hono ua ʻoe saliote;
In the first chariot were red horses. In the second chariot were black horses.
3 Pea naʻe ʻi hono tolu ʻoe saliote ʻae fanga hoosi hinehina, pea ko e fanga hoosi pulepule mo kulokula naʻe ʻi hono fā ʻoe saliote.
In the third chariot were white horses. In the fourth chariot were dappled horses, all of them powerful.
4 Ko ia naʻaku pehē ai ki he ʻāngelo ʻaia naʻa ma talanoa mo au, “ʻE hoku ʻeiki ko e hā ʻena?”
Then I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”
5 Pea naʻe tali ʻo pehē mai ʻe he ʻāngelo, “Ko e laumālie ia ʻe fā ʻoe ngaahi langi, ʻaia ʻoku ʻalu atu mei heʻenau tutuʻu ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova ʻo māmani kotoa pē.”
The angel answered me, “These are the four winds of the sky, which go out from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
6 ʻOku ʻalu ʻae fanga hoosi ʻuliʻuli ʻoku ʻi ai ki he ngaahi potu fakatokelau, pea ʻoku muimui ki ai ʻaia ʻoku hinehina; ka ʻe ʻalu ʻae pulepule ki he fonua ki he potu tonga.
The one with the black horses goes out toward the north country; and the white went out after them; and the dappled went out toward the south country.”
7 Pea naʻe ʻalu atu ʻae kulokula ʻo ʻahiʻahi ia ke feʻaluʻaki fano ʻi māmani: pea naʻa ne pehē, “ʻAlu atu koe mo ʻeveʻeva fano ʻi māmani.” Pea ko ia naʻa nau feʻaluʻaki fano ʻi māmani.
The strong went out, and sought to go that they might walk back and forth through the earth. He said, “Go around and through the earth!” So they walked back and forth through the earth.
8 Hili ia naʻa ne ui kiate au mo ne lea kiate au, ʻo pehē, “Vakai, ko kinautolu na kuo ʻalu ki he potu fakatokelau, kuo nau fakafiemālieʻi hoku laumālie ki he fonua ʻi he tokelau.”
Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying, “Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”
9 Pea naʻe hoko mai ʻae folofola ʻa Sihova kiate au, ʻo pehē,
The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
10 “Lau mai ha niʻihi mei he kau pōpula, ʻio, mei he faʻahinga ʻo Hilitai mo Topisa, pea mo Sitaia, ʻakinautolu kuo haʻu mei Papilone, pea ke haʻu koe ʻi he ʻaho pe ko ia, pea ke hū atu ki he fale ʻo Siosaia ko e foha ʻo Sefanaia;
“Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have come from Babylon.
11 Pea ke toʻo ha siliva mo ha koula, pea ngaohi ha ngaahi tatā fakatuʻi, pea ʻai ia ki he ʻulu ʻo Siosiua ko e foha ʻo Sosataki, ko e taulaʻeiki lahi;
Yes, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;
12 Pea lea kiate ia ʻo pehē, ‘ʻOku pehē mai ʻae folofola ʻa Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau, Vakai, ki he tangata ʻaia ʻoku hingoa ko e VAA; ʻe tupu hake ia ʻi hono potu; pea ko ia ia te ne langa ʻae fale tapu ʻo Sihova:
and speak to him, saying, ‘The LORD of Hosts says, “Behold, the man whose name is the Branch! He will grow up out of his place; and he will build the LORD’s temple.
13 ʻIo, ko ia ia te ne langa ʻae fale tapu ʻo Sihova; pea ko ia ia ʻe fua ʻa hono nāunau, pea te ne nofo mo pule ʻi hono nofoʻa fakatuʻi, pea ʻe taulaʻeiki ia ʻi hono nofoʻanga fakatuʻi: pea ʻe ʻiate kinaua fakatouʻosi ʻae alea fakamelino.’
He will build the LORD’s temple. He will bear the glory, and will sit and rule on his throne. He will be a priest on his throne. The counsel of peace will be between them both.
14 Pea ko e ngaahi tatā fakatuʻi ʻe tuku kia Helemi, pea mo Topisa, mo Sitaia, pea kia Heni, ko e foha ʻo Sefanaia, ko e meʻa fakamanatu ʻi he fale tapu ʻo Sihova.”
The crowns shall be to Helem, to Tobijah, to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the LORD’s temple.
15 Pea ʻe haʻu ʻakinautolu ʻoku mei he mamaʻo, ke nau langa ʻae fale tapu ʻo Sihova, pea te mou ʻilo kuo fekau au kiate kimoutolu, ʻe Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau. Pea ʻe hoko eni, ʻo kapau te mou tokanga fakamātoato ki he leʻo ʻo Sihova, ko homou ʻOtua.
Those who are far off shall come and build in the LORD’s temple; and you shall know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you. This will happen, if you will diligently obey the LORD your God’s voice.”’”
