1 Vakai ʻoku haʻu ʻae ʻaho ʻo Sihova, pea ʻe vahevahe hoʻo koloa ʻi ho lotolotonga.
Behold! A day for Yahweh is coming when your plunder will be divided in your midst.
2 Koeʻuhi te u tānaki fakataha ʻae puleʻanga kotoa pē ki Selūsalema ke tau; pea ʻe hamu ʻae kolo, pea ʻe vete ʻae ngaahi fale, pea ʻe tohotoho ʻae kau fefine: pea ʻe ʻalu ʻa hono vaeua ʻoe kolo ki he fakapōpula, ka e ʻikai motuhi ʻa hono kakai ʻoku toe mei he kolo.
For I will gather every nation against Jerusalem for battle and the city will be captured. The houses will be plundered and the women raped. Half of the city will go out into captivity, but the remainder of the people will not be cut off from the city.
3 Pea ʻe toki hāʻele atu ʻa Sihova, ʻo ne tauʻi ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga ko ia, ʻo hangē ko ʻene tau ʻi he ʻaho ʻoe tau.
But Yahweh will go out and wage war against those nations as when he wages war on the day of battle.
4 Pea ʻe tuʻu hono vaʻe ki he moʻunga ʻoe ʻOlive ʻi he ʻaho ko ia, ʻaia ʻoku tuʻu ʻi he ʻao ʻo Selūsalema, ʻi hono potu hahake, pea ʻe mafahi ua ʻi loto ʻae moʻunga ʻoe ʻOlive ki he potu hahake mo e potu lulunga, pea ʻe hoko ia ko e teleʻa lahi ʻaupito: pea ʻe hiki ʻa hono vaeua ʻoe moʻunga ki he tokelau, pea ko hono vahe ʻe taha ki he potu tonga.
On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is beside Jerusalem to the east. The Mount of Olives will be split in half between the east and the west by a very great valley and half of the mountain will go back toward the north and half toward the south.
5 Pea te mou hola ki he teleʻa ʻi he vahaʻa moʻunga; he koeʻuhi ʻe aʻu atu ʻae teleʻa ʻi he moʻunga ki ʻEsali: ʻio, te mou hola, ʻo tatau mo hoʻomou hola mei he mofuike ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho ʻo ʻUsaia ko e tuʻi ʻo Siuta: pea ʻe hāʻele mai ʻa Sihova ko hoku ʻOtua, pea mo ʻene kakai māʻoniʻoni fakataha mo ia.
Then you will flee down the valley between Yahweh's mountains, for the valley between those mountains will reach to Azel. You will flee just as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. Then Yahweh my God will come and all the holy ones will be with him.
6 Pea ʻe hoko ʻo pehē ʻi he ʻaho ko ia, ʻe ʻikai maama ia ke lahi, pea ʻe ʻikai ke poʻuli lahi:
On that day there will be no light, but no cold or frost either.
7 Ka ko e ʻaho maʻuaipē, ʻaia ʻe ʻafioʻi ʻe Sihova, ʻe ʻikai ʻaho pe poʻuli: ka ʻe hoko ʻo pehē, ʻe maama pe ia ʻi he feituʻu poʻuli.
On that day, a day known only to Yahweh, there will no longer be day or night, for the evening will be a time of light.
8 Pea ʻi he ʻaho ko ia ʻe tafe atu ʻae ngaahi vai moʻui mei Selūsalema: ko hono vaeua ʻe tafe atu ki he tahi muʻa, pea ko hono vahe ʻe taha ki he tahi mui: pea ʻe pehē pe ʻi he faʻahitaʻu mafana mo e faʻahitaʻu momoko
On that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem. Half of them will flow to the eastern sea and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter.
9 Pea ʻe tuʻi ʻa Sihova ki māmani kotoa pē: ʻi he ʻaho ko ia ʻe taha pe ʻa Sihova, pea ʻe taha pe ʻa hono huafa.
Yahweh will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be Yahweh, the one God, and his name alone.
10 ‌ʻE liliu ke toafa ʻae fonua kotoa pē mei Kepa ʻo aʻu ki Limoni ki he potu tonga ʻo Selūsalema: pea ʻe hiki hake ia ki ʻolunga, pea ʻe kakai ia ʻi hono potu, mei he matapā ʻo Penisimani ʻo aʻu atu ki he potu ʻoe ʻuluaki matapā, ki he matapā ʻi he tuliki, pea mei he fale leʻo māʻolunga ʻo Hananili ʻo ʻalu ki he ngaahi tataʻoʻanga uaine ʻoe tuʻi.
All the land will be like the Arabah, from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. Jerusalem will continue to be raised up and remain in its own place, from the Benjamin Gate to the place where the first gate was, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king's winepresses.
11 Pea ʻe nofo ʻi ai ʻae kakai, ʻe ʻikai toe ai ha fakamalaʻia; ka ʻe kakai mo nofo fiemālie ʻa Selūsalema.
The people will live in Jerusalem and there will be no more complete destruction from God against them. Jerusalem will live in safety.
12 Pea ko eni ʻae malaʻia, ʻaia ʻe taaʻi ʻaki ʻe Sihova ʻae kakai kotoa pē kuo tauʻi ʻa Selūsalema; ʻe ʻauha honau kakano lolotonga ʻoku nau kei tuʻu ki honau vaʻe! Pea ʻe ʻauha honau mata ʻi honau pokoʻimata, pea ʻe ʻauha honau ʻelelo ʻi honau ngutu.
This will be the plague with which Yahweh will attack all the peoples that waged war against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot away even as they are standing on their feet. Their eyes will rot in their sockets and their tongues will rot in their mouths.
13 Pea ʻe hoko ʻo pehē ʻi he ʻaho ko ia, ʻe tupu meia Sihova ʻae puputuʻu lahi ʻaupito ʻiate kinautolu; pea ʻe taki taha puke ʻe he tangata ʻae nima ʻo hono kaungāʻapi, pea ʻe hiki hake hono nima ʻoʻona ki he nima ʻo hono kaungāʻapi.
On that day that great fear from Yahweh will come among them. Each one will seize the hand of another, and the hand of one will be raised up against the hand of another.
14 Pea ʻe tau foki ʻa Siuta ʻi Selūsalema pea ʻe tānaki fakataha ʻae koloa kotoa pē ʻae kau hiteni ʻoku takatakai ʻi ai, ʻae koula, mo e siliva, mo e kofu, ʻo lahi ʻaupito.
Judah will also fight against Jerusalem. They will gather the wealth of all the surrounding nations—gold, silver, and fine clothes in great abundance.
15 Pea ʻe pehē mo e malaʻia ki he hoosi mo e miuli mo e kāmeli, mo e ʻasi, pea mo e fanga manu kotoa pē ʻi he ngaahi fale fehikitaki ko ia, ʻo tatau mo e malaʻia ni.
A plague will also be on the horses and the mules, the camels and the donkeys, and on every animal in those camps will also suffer that same plague.
16 Pea ʻe hoko ia ʻo pehē, ko ia kotoa pē ʻe toe ʻi he ngaahi puleʻanga kotoa pē ʻaia naʻe ʻalu hake ke tauʻi ʻa Selūsalema, ko ia ʻe ʻalu hake mei he taʻu ki he taʻu ke hū ki he Tuʻi, ko Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau, pea ke fai ʻae kātoanga ʻoe fale fehikitaki.
Then it will happen that all who remain in those nations that came against Jerusalem will instead go up from year to year to worship the king, Yahweh of hosts, and to keep the Festival of Shelters.
17 Pea ʻe pehē, ko ia kotoa pē ʻi he ngaahi faʻahinga ʻo māmani ʻe ʻikai ʻalu hake ki Selūsalema ke hū ki he Tuʻi, ko Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ʻio, ko kinautolu ʻe ʻikai ha ʻuha ki ai.
It will happen that if anyone from all the nations of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the king, Yahweh of hosts, then Yahweh will not bring rain on them.
18 Pea kapau ʻe ʻikai haʻu mo ʻalu hake ʻae faʻahinga ʻo ʻIsipite, ʻaia ʻoku ʻikai ke ʻuha ki ai, ʻe ʻiate kinautolu ʻae malaʻia, ʻaia ʻe taaʻi ʻaki ʻe Sihova ʻae kau hiteni, ʻoku ʻikai ʻalu hake ke fai ʻae kātoanga ʻoe fale fehikitaki.
If the nation of Egypt does not go up, then they will not receive rain. A plague from Yahweh will attack the nations that do not go up to keep the Festival of Shelters.
19 Ko eni ia ʻae malaʻia ʻa ʻIsipite, mo e tautea ki he puleʻanga kotoa pē ʻoku ʻikai ʻalu hake ke fai ʻae kātoanga, ʻoe fale fehikitaki.
This will be the punishment for Egypt and the punishment for every nation that does not go up to keep the Festival of Shelters.
20 ʻI he ʻaho ko ia ʻe tongi ʻae lea ni ki he ngaahi fafangu ʻi he fanga hoosi, “KO E MĀʻONIʻONI KIA SIHOVA”; pea ʻe tatau ʻae ngaahi kulo ʻi he fale ʻo Sihova mo e ngaahi ipu ʻi he ʻao ʻoe feilaulauʻanga.
But on that day, the bells of the horses will say, “Set apart to Yahweh,” and the basins in Yahweh's house will be like the bowls before the altar.
For every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be set apart to Yahweh of hosts and everyone who brings a sacrifice will eat from them and boil in them. On that day traders will no longer be in the house of Yahweh of hosts.
