< Fakahā 4 >
1 Pea hili eni, ne u mamata, pea vakai, kuo fakaava ʻae matapā ʻi he langi: pea ko e ʻuluaki leʻo ʻaia ne u ongoʻi naʻe hangē ko e meʻa lea ʻoku lea kiate au; pea ne pehē mai, “Haʻu ki ʻolunga ni, pea te u fakahā kiate koe ʻae ngaahi meʻa ʻoku totonu ke hoko ʻamui.”
After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in heaven, and the first voice which I heard as of a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will shew thee the things which must take place after these things.
2 Pea fakafokifā pe kuo u ʻi he Laumālie: pea vakai, ne tuʻu ʻae nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻi he langi, pea nofo ʻae tokotaha ʻi he nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki.
Immediately I became in [the] Spirit; and behold, a throne stood in the heaven, and upon the throne one sitting,
3 Pea ko ia naʻe nofo ai naʻe matamata [lelei ]ʻo hangē ko e maka ko e sasipa mo e satino; pea naʻe takatakai ʻae nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻe he ʻumata, naʻe hā mai ʻo hangē ko e ʻemalata.
and he [that was] sitting like in appearance to a stone [of] jasper and a sardius, and a rainbow round the throne like in appearance to an emerald.
4 Pea naʻe tuʻu takatakai ʻi he nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻoe nofoʻa ʻe uofulu ma fā: pea ne u mamata ʻoku nofo ʻi he ngaahi nofoʻa ʻae mātuʻa ʻe toko uofulu ma toko fā, kuo kofuʻaki ʻae kofu hinehina; pea naʻe ai ʻi honau ʻulu ʻae ngaahi pale koula.
And round the throne twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones twenty-four elders sitting, clothed with white garments; and on their heads golden crowns.
5 Pea naʻe hā mai mei he nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻae ʻuhila mo e mana mo e ngaahi leʻo: pea naʻe ulo ʻae maama afi ʻe fitu ʻi he muʻa nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, ʻaia ko e Laumālie ʻe Fitu ʻoe ʻOtua.
And out of the throne go forth lightnings, and voices, and thunders; and seven lamps of fire, burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;
6 Pea naʻe ʻi he muʻa nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻae tahi sioʻata ʻo hangē ko e kalisitala: pea naʻe ʻi he haʻohaʻonga ʻoe nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, pea tuʻu takatakai ʻi he nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, ʻae faʻahinga meʻa moʻui ʻe fā, kuo fonu ʻi he ngaahi foʻi mata ʻi ʻao pea mo tuʻa.
and before the throne, as a glass sea, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, four living creatures, full of eyes, before and behind;
7 Pea ko e ʻuluaki meʻa moʻui naʻe hangē ko e laione, ko hono ua ʻoe meʻa moʻui naʻe hangē ko e pulu, ko hono tolu ʻoe meʻa moʻui naʻe mata tatau mo e tangata, pea ko hono fā ʻoe meʻa moʻui naʻe hangē ko ha ʻikale ʻoku puna.
and the first living creature like a lion, and the second living creature like a calf, and the third living creature having the face as of a man, and the fourth living creature like a flying eagle.
8 Pea ko e meʻa moʻui ʻe fā naʻa nau taki ono ʻae kapakau; pea naʻa nau pito ʻi loto ʻi he ngaahi foʻi mata: pea ʻoku ʻikai te nau mālōlō ʻi he ʻaho pe ʻi he pō, kae pehē pe, “Māʻoniʻoni, māʻoniʻoni, māʻoniʻoni, ʻE ʻEiki, ko e ʻOtua Māfimafi, ʻAia naʻe ʻi ai, pea ʻoku ʻi ai ni, pea ʻe ʻi ai.”
And the four living creatures, each one of them having respectively six wings; round and within they are full of eyes; and they cease not day and night saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come.
9 Pea ʻi he ʻatu ʻe he ngaahi meʻa moʻui ko ia ʻae fakaʻapaʻapa mo e ongoongolelei mo e fakafetaʻi kiate ia ʻoku nofo ʻi he nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, ʻaia ʻoku moʻui lauikuonga pea taʻengata, (aiōn )
And when the living creatures shall give glory and honour and thanksgiving to him that sits upon the throne, who lives to the ages of ages, (aiōn )
10 Naʻe fakafoʻohifo ʻae mātuʻa e toko uofulu ma toko fā ʻi he ʻao ʻo ia ʻoku nofo ʻi he nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, ʻonau hū kiate ia ʻoku moʻui ʻo lauikuonga pea taʻengata, pea naʻa nau lī honau ngaahi pale ʻi he muʻa nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, mo nau pehē, (aiōn )
the twenty-four elders shall fall before him that sits upon the throne, and do homage to him that lives to the ages of ages; and shall cast their crowns before the throne, saying, (aiōn )
11 “ʻOku taau mo koe, ʻE ʻEiki, Ke ke maʻu ʻae fakaʻapaʻapa mo e ongoongolelei mo e māfimafi: He kuo ke fakatupu ʻae ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē, Pea naʻe ngaohi ia pea ʻoku kei ai ni, ʻi hoʻo finangalo pe koe ki ai.”
Thou art worthy, O our Lord and [our] God, to receive glory and honour and power; for thou hast created all things, and for thy will they were, and they have been created.
