1 Pea naʻa ne fakahā kiate au ʻae vaitafe maʻa ʻoe vai moʻui, ʻāsinisini ʻo hangē ko e kalisitala, pea ʻoku haʻu mei he ʻafioʻanga ʻoe ʻOtua mo e Lami.
He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,
2 ʻI he loto hala lahi ʻo ia, pea ʻi hono kauvai fakatouʻosi, naʻe ʻi ai ʻae ʻakau ʻoe moʻui, naʻe tupu ai ʻae fua kehekehe ʻe hongofulu ma ua, pea fua ia ʻi he māhina kotoa pē: pea ko hono louʻakau, ko e meʻa fakamoʻui ʻoe ngaahi puleʻanga.
in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 Pea ʻe ʻikai kei ai ha malaʻia: he ko e ʻafioʻanga ʻoe ʻOtua mo e Lami ʻe tuʻu ʻi ai; pea ʻe tauhi ia ʻe heʻene kau tamaioʻeiki:
There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him.
4 Pea te nau mamata ki hono fofonga pea ʻe ʻi honau foʻi laʻē ʻa hono huafa.
They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
5 Pea ʻe ʻikai ʻi ai ha pō; pea ʻoku ʻikai ʻaonga ki ai ha maama, pe ko e ulo ʻoe laʻā; he ʻoku fakamāmangia ʻakinautolu ʻe he ʻEiki ko e ʻOtua: pea te nau pule ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata. (aiōn )
There will no longer be any night, and they have no need for the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever. (aiōn )
6 Pea naʻe pehē mai ʻe ia kiate au, “ʻOku totonu mo moʻoni ʻae ngaahi lea ni: pea ko e ʻEiki ko e ʻOtua ʻoe kau palōfita māʻoniʻoni,” Kuo ne fekau ʻene ʻāngelo ke fakahā ki heʻene kau tamaioʻeiki ʻae ngaahi meʻa ʻe toʻotoʻo ʻa hono fai.
He said to me, "These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his servants the things which must happen soon."
7 “Vakai, ʻoku ou haʻu vave: ʻoku monūʻia ia ʻoku ne fai ʻae ngaahi lea ʻoe kikite ʻoe tohi ni.”
"Look, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."
8 Pea ko au Sione, ne u mamata mo fanongo ki he ngaahi meʻa ni. Pea ʻi heʻeku fanongo mo mamata, ne u foʻohifo ke hū ʻi he vaʻe ʻoe ʻāngelo naʻa ne fakahā kiate au ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni.
Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.
9 Pea pehē mai ʻe ia kiate au, “Vakai ke ʻoua: he ko hoʻo kaungā tamaioʻeiki au, pea ʻoku ou ʻi ho kāinga ko e kau palōfita, pea ʻokinautolu ʻoku nau fai ʻae ngaahi lea ʻoe tohi ni: hū ki he ʻOtua.”
He said to me, "See you do not do it. I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God."
10 Pea pehē ʻe ia kiate au, “ʻOua naʻa ke fakamaʻu ʻae ngaahi lea ʻoe kikite ʻi he tohi ni: he kuo ofi hono kuonga.
He said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.
11 Ko ia ʻoku taʻeangatonu, tuku ia ke taʻeangatonu ai pe: pea ko ia ʻoku ʻuli, tuku ia ke ʻuli ai pe: pea ko ia ʻoku angatonu, tuku ia ke angatonu ai pe: pea ko ia ʻoku māʻoniʻoni, tuku ia ke māʻoniʻoni ai pe.”
He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still."
12 Pea vakai, “ʻOku ou haʻu vave; pea ʻoku ʻiate au ʻeku totongi ke ʻatu ki he kakai taki taha ʻo fakatatau ki heʻene ngāue.”
"Look, I am coming quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each person according to his work.
13 Ko au ko e ʻAlifa mo ʻOmeka, ko e kamataʻanga mo e ngataʻanga, ko e ʻuluaki mo e kimui.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 ʻOku monūʻia ʻakinautolu ʻoku fai ʻene ngaahi fekau, koeʻuhi ke ngofua kiate kinautolu ʻae ʻakau ʻoe moʻui, pea nau hū ʻi he ngaahi matapā ki he kolo.
Blessed are they who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
15 He ʻoku ʻi tuaʻā ʻae fanga kulī, mo e kau fiemana, mo e kau feʻauaki, mo e kau fakapō, mo e kau tauhi tamapua, mo ia kotoa pē ʻoku ʻofa mo fakatupu loi.
Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 “Ko au Sisu, kuo u fekau ʻeku ʻāngelo ke fakahā atu kiate kimoutolu ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni ʻi he ngaahi siasi. Ko au ko e aka mo e hako ʻo Tevita, pea ko e fetuʻu ngingila ʻoe pongipongi.”
I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David; the bright morning star."
17 Pea ʻoku pehē ʻe he Laumālie mo e taʻahine, “Haʻu.” Pea ke pehē mo ia ʻoku ne fanongo, “Haʻu.” Pea mo ia ʻoku fieinua, ke haʻu ia. Pea ko ia ʻoku loto ki ai, ke ne toʻo taʻetotongi ʻe ia ʻae vai ʻoe moʻui.
The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." He who hears, let him say, "Come." He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.
18 He ʻoku ou fakahā ki he kakai kotoa pē ʻoku fanongo ki he ngaahi lea ʻoe kikite ʻi he tohi ni, Kapau ʻe fakalahi ʻe ha tangata ki he ngaahi meʻa ni, ʻe fakalahi ʻe he ʻOtua kiate ia ʻi he ngaahi malaʻia kuo tohi ʻi he tohi ni:
I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book.
19 Pea kapau ʻe toʻo ʻe ha tangata mei he ngaahi lea ʻoe tohi ʻoe kikite ni, ʻe toʻo ʻe he ʻOtua ʻa hono ʻinasi mei he tohi ʻoe moʻui, pea mei he kolo māʻoniʻoni, pea mo e ngaahi meʻa kuo tohi ʻi he tohi ni.
If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.
20 Ko ia ʻoku ne fakahā ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni; ʻoku pehē ʻe ia, “Ko e moʻoni ʻoku ou haʻu vave;” ʻEmeni. ʻIo, ke pehē, ʻEiki Sisu, ke ke hāʻele mai.
He who testifies these things says, "Yes, I come quickly." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21 Ko e ʻaloʻofa ʻa hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi ke ʻiate kimoutolu kotoa pē. ʻEmeni.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.
