1 ʻOku pule ʻa Sihova; tuku ke fiefia ʻa māmani; pea nekeneka ʻae ngaahi ʻotu motu.
Jehovah reigneth: let the earth be glad, let the many isles rejoice.
2 ʻOku takatakai ia ʻe he ngaahi ʻao mo e fakapoʻuli: ko e angatonu mo e fakamaau ko e tuʻunga ia ʻo hono ʻafioʻanga.
Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of his throne.
3 ʻOku muʻomuʻa ʻae afi ʻiate ia, pea vela ke ʻosi hono ngaahi fili ʻoku takatakai.
A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his adversaries round about.
4 Naʻe fakamaama ʻaki ʻa māmani ʻa hono ngaahi ʻuhila: naʻe mamata ʻae fonua, pea tetetete.
His lightnings lightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
5 Naʻe vela ʻo vai ʻae ngaahi moʻunga ʻo hangē ko e pulu ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova, ʻi he ʻao ʻoe ʻEiki ʻo māmani kotoa pē.
The mountains melted like wax at the presence of Jehovah, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6 ʻOku fakahā ʻe he ngaahi langi ʻene māʻoniʻoni, pea mamata ʻae kakai kotoa pē ki hono nāunau.
The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.
7 Ke puputuʻu ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku nau tauhi ʻae ngaahi fakatātā kuo tā, mo nau polepole ʻi he ngaahi tamapua: lotu kiate ia, ʻakimoutolu kotoa pē ʻae ngaahi ʻotua.
Ashamed be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols. Worship him, all ye gods.
8 Naʻe fanongo ʻa Saione, pea fiefia ai pea naʻe fiefia ʻae ngaahi ʻofefine ʻo Siuta, koeʻuhi ko hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau, ʻE Sihova.
Zion heard, and rejoiced; and the daughters of Judah were glad, because of thy judgments, O Jehovah.
9 He ko koe, ʻE Sihova, ʻoku ke māʻolunga hake ki māmani kotoa pē: ʻoku ke māʻolunga lahi ʻaupito ʻi he ngaahi ʻotua kotoa pē.
For thou, Jehovah, art the Most High above all the earth; thou art exalted exceedingly above all gods.
10 ʻAkimoutolu ʻoku ʻofa kia Sihova, mou fehiʻa ki he kovi: ʻoku fakamoʻui ʻe ia ʻae laumālie ʻo ʻene kakai māʻoniʻoni; ʻoku ne fakamoʻui ʻakinautolu mei he nima ʻoe kau angahala.
Ye that love Jehovah, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints, he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
11 Kuo tūtuuʻi ʻae maama maʻae māʻoniʻoni, mo e fiefia maʻae angatonu ʻi loto.
Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.
12 Mou fiefia ʻia Sihova ʻae kau angatonu; pea fakafetaʻi ʻi he manatu ki heʻene māʻoniʻoni.
Rejoice in Jehovah, ye righteous; and give thanks in remembrance of his holiness.
