< Saame 93 >
1 ʻOku pule ʻa Sihova, ʻoku kofuʻaki ia ʻae nāunau lahi; ʻoku kofuʻaki ʻa Sihova ʻae māfimafi, ʻaia kuo ne nonoʻo ʻaki ia kuo fokotuʻumaʻu foki ʻa māmani, pea ʻe ʻikai faʻa ueʻi ia.
Yahweh, you are the King! You are majestic, and the power that you have is [like] [MET] a robe that a king wears. You put the world firmly in place, and it will never be moved/shaken.
2 KUO fokotuʻumaʻu ho ʻafioʻanga talu mei muʻa: ʻoku talu mei muʻa ʻae ʻafiona.
You ruled as king a very long time ago; you have always existed.
3 ʻE Sihova, kuo hiki hake ʻe he ngaahi vaitafe, kuo hiki hake ʻe he ngaahi vaitafe honau leʻo; ʻoku hiki hake ʻe he ngaahi vaitafe lahi honau ngaahi peau.
Yahweh, [when you created the world, you separated] the water from [the chaotic mass and formed oceans], and the waves of the waters [of those oceans] still roar,
4 Ko Sihova ʻoku ʻi ʻolunga ʻoku mālohi lahi hake ia ʻi he ʻuʻulu ʻoe ngaahi vai lahi, ʻio, ʻi he ngaahi peau mālohi ʻoe tahi.
[but] you are greater than the roar of those oceans, more powerful than the ocean waves! You are Yahweh, the one who is greater than any other god!
5 ʻOku moʻoni ʻaupito hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni: ʻE Sihova, ʻoku taau mo ho fale ʻae māʻoniʻoni ʻo lauikuonga.
Yahweh, your laws never change, and your temple has always been holy/sacred. And that will be true forever.
