< Saame 87 >
1 Ko e Saame pe ko e Hiva ki he ngaahi foha ʻo Kola. Ko hono tuʻunga ʻoku ʻi he ngaahi moʻunga māʻoniʻoni.
A Psalm by the sons of Korah; a Song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.
2 ʻOku ʻofa lahi hake ʻa Sihova ki he ngaahi matapā ʻo Saione, ʻi he ngaahi nofoʻanga kotoa pē ʻo Sēkope.
The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3 ʻA e kolo ʻoe ʻOtua, ʻoku talanoa ʻaki ʻae ngaahi meʻa ongoongolelei ʻiate koe. (Sila)
Glorious things are spoken about you, city of God. (Selah)
4 “Te u fakahā ʻa Lehapi mo Papilone kiate kinautolu ʻoku ʻiloʻi au: vakai, ko Filisitia, mo Taia, mo ʻItiopea; “naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai ʻae tangata ni.”
I will record Rahab and Babylon amongst those who acknowledge me. Behold, Philistia, Tyre, and also Ethiopia: “This one was born there.”
5 Pea ʻe lau pehē ki Saione, “Ko e tangata ni mo e tangata na naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai”: pea ʻe fakatuʻumaʻu ia ʻe he Fungani Māʻolunga.
Yes, of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one was born in her;” the Most High himself will establish her.
6 ʻE lau ʻe Sihova, ʻi heʻene tohi ʻae kakai, “ko e tangata ni naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai.” (Sila)
The LORD will count, when he writes up the peoples, “This one was born there.” (Selah)
7 ʻE ʻi ai fakatouʻosi ʻae kau hiva mo e kau pulotu ʻoe ngaahi meʻa faiva: “ko ʻeku ngaahi matavai kotoa pē ʻoku ʻiate koe.”
Those who sing as well as those who dance say, “All my springs are in you.”
