1 Ko e Saame pe ko e Hiva ki he ngaahi foha ʻo Kola. Ko hono tuʻunga ʻoku ʻi he ngaahi moʻunga māʻoniʻoni.
A psalm of the sons of Korah; a song. On the holy mount stands the city he founded;
2 ‌ʻOku ʻofa lahi hake ʻa Sihova ki he ngaahi matapā ʻo Saione, ʻi he ngaahi nofoʻanga kotoa pē ʻo Sēkope.
Yahweh loves the gates of Zion more than all the tents of Jacob.
3 ‌ʻA e kolo ʻoe ʻOtua, ʻoku talanoa ʻaki ʻae ngaahi meʻa ongoongolelei ʻiate koe. (Sila)
Glorious things are said of you, city of God. (Selah)
4 “Te u fakahā ʻa Lehapi mo Papilone kiate kinautolu ʻoku ʻiloʻi au: vakai, ko Filisitia, mo Taia, mo ʻItiopea; “naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai ʻae tangata ni.”
“I mention Rahab and Babylon to my followers. See, there are Philistia, and Tyre, along with Cush— and will say, 'This one was born there.'”
5 Pea ʻe lau pehē ki Saione, “Ko e tangata ni mo e tangata na naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai”: pea ʻe fakatuʻumaʻu ia ʻe he Fungani Māʻolunga.
Of Zion it will be said, “Each of these was born in her; and the Most High himself will establish her.”
6 ‌ʻE lau ʻe Sihova, ʻi heʻene tohi ʻae kakai, “ko e tangata ni naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai.” (Sila)
Yahweh writes in the census book of the nations, “This one was born there.” (Selah)
7 ‌ʻE ʻi ai fakatouʻosi ʻae kau hiva mo e kau pulotu ʻoe ngaahi meʻa faiva: “ko ʻeku ngaahi matavai kotoa pē ʻoku ʻiate koe.”
So also the singers and the dancers say together, “All my fountains are in you.”
