< Saame 29 >
1 Ko e Saame ʻa Tevita. Tuku kia Sihova, ʻekimoutolu ko e ngaahi foha ʻoe mālohi, tuku kia Sihova ʻae nāunau mo e māfimafi.
[A Psalm by David.] Ascribe to the LORD, you sons of the mighty, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2 Tuku kia Sihova ʻae fakaʻapaʻapa ʻoku taau mo hono huafa; hū kia Sihova ʻi he teunga matamatalelei ʻoe māʻoniʻoni.
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Worship the LORD in holy array.
3 Ko e leʻo ʻo Sihova ʻoku ʻi ʻolunga ʻi he ngaahi vai: ʻoku mana ʻe he ʻOtua ʻoe nāunau: ʻoku ʻi ʻolunga ʻi he ngaahi vai lahi ʻa Sihova.
The voice of the LORD is on the waters. The God of glory thunders, even the LORD on many waters.
4 Ko e leʻo ʻo Sihova ʻoku fonu ʻi he mālohi; ʻoku fonu ʻae leʻo ʻo Sihova ʻi he nāunau.
The voice of the LORD is powerful. The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5 ʻOku fesiʻi ʻe he leʻo ʻo Sihova ʻae ngaahi sita. ʻio, ʻoku fesiʻi ʻe Sihova ʻae ngaahi sita ʻo Lepanoni.
The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars. Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6 ʻOku ngaohi ʻe ia ke nau hopohopo ʻo hangē ko e ʻuhikiʻi pulu; ʻa Lepanoni mo Silione ʻo hangē ko e ʻuhikiʻi liimi.
He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young, wild ox.
7 ʻOku vahevahe ʻe he leʻo ʻo Sihova ʻae ngaahi ulo ʻoe afi.
The voice of the LORD strikes with flashes of lightning.
8 ʻOku lulu ʻe he leʻo ʻo Sihova ʻae toafa; ʻoku lulululu ʻe Sihova ʻae toafa ʻo Ketesi.
The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness. The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 ʻOku fakafanauʻi ʻe he leʻo ʻo Sihova ʻae fanga hainiti, pea ne fakahā ʻae ngaahi vao ʻakau: pea ʻi hono faletapu ʻoku lea taki taha kotoa pē ki hono nāunau.
The voice of the LORD makes the large trees tremble, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, "Glory."
10 ʻOku nofo ʻa Sihova ki he vai lahi; ʻio, ʻoku nofo ʻa Sihova ko e Tuʻi ʻo taʻengata.
The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood. Yes, the LORD sits as King forever.
11 ʻE foaki ʻe Sihova ʻae mālohi ki hono kakai; ʻe tāpuaki ʻe Sihova ʻa hono kakai ʻaki ʻae melino.
The LORD will give strength to his people. The LORD will bless his people with peace.
