1 Ko e Saame ʻoe fakamālō ʻa Tevita. Te u fakahikihiki koe, ko hoku ʻOtua, ko e tuʻi; pea te u fakafetaʻi ki ho huafa ʻo lauikuonga pea taʻengata.
A Psalme of David of Praise. O my God and King, I will extold thee, and will blesse thy Name for euer and euer.
2 Te u fakafetaʻi kiate koe ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē; pea te u fakamālō ki ho huafa ʻo lauikuonga pea taʻengata.
I will blesse thee dayly, and prayse thy Name for euer and euer.
3 ʻOku lahi ʻa Sihova, pea ʻoku ngali ke faʻa fakamālō kiate ia; pea ko hono lahi ʻoku taʻefaʻaʻiloʻi.
Great is the Lord, and most worthy to be praysed, and his greatnes is incomprehensible.
4 ʻE fakamālō ʻae toʻutangata ʻe taha ki hoʻo ngaahi ngāue ʻo aʻu ki he taha, pea tenau fakahā hoʻo ngaahi ngāue lahi.
Generation shall praise thy works vnto generation, and declare thy power.
5 Te u lea ki hono ongoongolelei lahi ʻo hoʻo ʻafio, pea mo hoʻo ngaahi ngāue fakaofo.
I wil meditate of the beautie of thy glorious maiestie, and thy wonderfull workes,
6 Pea ʻe lea [ʻae ]kakai ki hono mālohi ʻo hoʻo ngaahi ngāue fakailifia: pea te u fakahā hoʻo māfimafi.
And they shall speake of the power of thy fearefull actes, and I will declare thy greatnes.
7 Tenau faʻa fakahā ʻae fakamanatu ʻo hoʻo ʻulungāanga lelei lahi, pea tenau hiva ʻaki hoʻo māʻoniʻoni.
They shall breake out into the mention of thy great goodnes, and shall sing aloude of thy righteousnesse.
8 ʻOku angalelei ʻa Sihova, pea fonu ʻi he manavaʻofa; ʻoku tōʻohi hono houhau, pea ʻoku lahi ʻa ʻene ʻaloʻofa.
The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great mercie.
9 ʻOku angalelei ʻa Sihova ki he kakai kotoa pē: pea ʻoku kāpui ʻene ngāue kotoa pē ʻe heʻene ngaahi ʻaloʻofa ongongofua.
The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are ouer all his workes.
10 ʻE Sihova, ʻe fakamālō kiate koe ʻa hoʻo ngaahi ngāue kotoa pē; pea ʻe fakafetaʻi kiate koe ʻa hoʻo kakai māʻoniʻoni.
All thy workes prayse thee, O Lord, and thy Saints blesse thee.
11 Tenau lea ki he nāunau ʻo ho puleʻanga, pea talanoa ki hoʻo māfimafi;
They shewe the glory of thy kingdome, and speake of thy power,
12 Ke fakaʻilo ki he ngaahi foha ʻoe tangata ʻene ngaahi ngāue lahi, pea mo e ongoongolelei lahi ʻo hono puleʻanga.
To cause his power to be knowen to the sonnes of men, and the glorious renoume of his kingdome.
13 Ko ho puleʻanga ko e puleʻanga taʻengata, pea ko hoʻo pule ʻoku tolonga ia ʻi he ngaahi toʻutangata kotoa pē.
Thy kingdome is an euerlasting kingdome, and thy dominion endureth throughout all ages.
14 ʻOku poupou hake ʻe Sihova ʻakinautolu kotoa pē kuo hinga, pea ʻoku ne fokotuʻu ʻakinautolu kotoa pē kuo mapelu ki lalo.
The Lord vpholdeth all that fall, and lifteth vp all that are ready to fall.
15 ʻOku hanga ʻae ngaahi mata kotoa pē kiate koe; pea ʻoku ke foaki ʻenau meʻakai ʻi he feituʻulaʻā totonu.
The eyes of all waite vpon thee, and thou giuest them their meate in due season.
16 ʻOku ke mafola ho nima, mo fakamākona ʻae holi ʻae meʻa moʻui kotoa pē.
Thou openest thine hand, and fillest all things liuing of thy good pleasure.
17 ʻOku angatonu ʻa Sihova ʻi hono hala kotoa pē, pea māʻoniʻoni ʻi heʻene ngaahi ngāue kotoa pē.
The Lord is righteous in all his wayes, and holy in all his workes.
18 ʻOku ofi ʻa Sihova kiate kinautolu kotoa pē kuo ui ki heʻene ʻafio, kiate kinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku nau ui kiate ia ʻi he moʻoni.
The Lord is neere vnto all that call vpon him: yea, to all that call vpon him in trueth.
19 Te ne fai ki he holi ʻanautolu ʻoku manavahē kiate ia: ʻe fanongo foki ia ki heʻenau tangi, pea te ne fakamoʻui ʻakinautolu.
He wil fulfill the desire of them that feare him: he also wil heare their cry, and wil saue them.
20 ʻOku fakamoʻui ʻe Sihova ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku nau ʻofa kiate ia: ka ko e angakovi kotoa pē te ne fakaʻauha.
The Lord preserueth all them that loue him: but he will destroy all the wicked.
21 ʻE lea ʻaki ʻe hoku ngutu ʻae fakamālō kia Sihova: pea tuku ke fakafetaʻi ʻae kakano kotoa pē ki hono huafa māʻoniʻoni ʻo lauikuonga pea taʻengata.
My mouth shall speake the prayse of the Lord, and all flesh shall blesse his holy Name for euer and euer.
