< Saame 125 >
1 Ko e Hiva ʻae ʻalu hake. Ko kinautolu ʻoku falala kia Sihova tenau tatau mo e moʻunga ko Saione, ʻaia ʻoku ʻikai siʻi faʻa hiki, kae tuʻumaʻu pe ʻo taʻengata.
A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.
2 Hangē ko e takatakai ʻe he ngaahi moʻunga ʻa Selūsalema, ʻoku takatakai pehē ʻe Sihova ʻa hono kakai mei he ʻaho ni ʻo lauikuonga.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.
3 Koeʻuhi ʻe ʻikai tuku maʻu ʻae tokotoko ʻoe angahala ʻi he tofiʻa ʻoe angatonu; telia naʻa mafao atu ʻe he angatonu honau nima ki he angahala.
For the sceptre of wickedness won’t remain over the allotment of the righteous, so that the righteous won’t use their hands to do evil.
4 ʻE Sihova, ke ke fai lelei kiate kinautolu ʻoku angalelei, pea kiate kinautolu ʻoku angatonu ʻi honau loto.
Do good, LORD, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.
5 Ka ko kinautolu ʻoku nau afe ki honau ngaahi hala pikopiko, ʻe tataki atu ʻakinautolu ʻe Sihova fakataha mo e kakai fai kovi: ka ʻe hoko ʻae melino ki ʻIsileli.
But as for those who turn away to their crooked ways, the LORD will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.
