1 ʻOku monūʻia ʻae haohaoa ʻi he hala, ʻaia ʻoku ʻeveʻeva ʻi he fono ʻa Sihova.
ALEPH. Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.
2 ʻOku monūʻia ʻakinautolu ʻoku tauhi ʻene ngaahi fakamoʻoni, pea kumi kiate ia ʻaki honau loto kotoa pē.
Blessed are those who keep his decrees, who seek him with their whole heart.
3 ʻOku ʻikai foki tenau fai ha kovi: ʻoku nau ʻaʻeva ʻi hono ngaahi hala.
Yes, they do nothing wrong. They walk in his ways.
4 Kuo ke fekau mai ke mau tauhi maʻu hoʻo ngaahi akonaki.
You have commanded your precepts, that we should fully obey them.
5 ʻOku ʻamusiaange ʻeau kuo fakahinohino ki hoku ngaahi hala, ke fai ki hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni.
Oh that my ways were steadfast to obey your statutes.
6 Pea ʻe ʻikai te u mā, ʻo kau ka tokanga ki hoʻo ngaahi fekau kotoa pē.
Then I wouldn't be disappointed, when I consider all of your commandments.
7 Te u fakamālō kiate koe ʻi he angatonu ʻoe loto, ʻo kau ka ʻilo hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau māʻoniʻoni.
I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart, when I learn your righteous judgments.
8 Te u fai ki hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni: ʻoua naʻa ke siʻaki ʻaupito au.
I will observe your statutes. Do not utterly forsake me.
9 ʻE fakamaʻa ʻe he tangata talavou hono hala ʻi he hā? ʻI heʻene tokanga ki ai ʻo hangē ko hoʻo folofola.
BET. How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.
10 Kuo u kumi kiate koe ʻaki hoku loto kotoa pē: ʻoua naʻa tuku au ke u hē mei hoʻo ngaahi fekau.
With my whole heart, I have sought you. Do not let me wander from your commandments.
11 Kuo u fufū hoʻo folofola ʻi hoku loto, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻaku angahala kiate koe.
In my heart I have hidden your word, that I might not sin against you.
12 ʻE Sihova, ʻoku monūʻia ʻa hoʻo ʻafio: ako kiate au hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni.
Blessed are you, LORD. Teach me your statutes.
13 Kuo u fakahā ʻaki hoku loungutu, ʻae ngaahi fakamaau kotoa pē ʻa ho fofonga.
With my lips, I have declared all the ordinances of your mouth.
14 Naʻaku fiefia ʻi hono ʻalunga ʻo hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni, ʻo tatau mo e ngaahi koloa kotoa pē.
I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15 Te u fakalaulauloto ki hoʻo ngaahi akonaki, pea te u tokanga ki ho ngaahi hala.
I will meditate on your precepts, and consider your ways.
16 Te u fakafiefiaʻi au ʻi hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni: ʻe ʻikai ngalo ʻiate au hoʻo folofola.
I will delight myself in your statutes. I will not forget your word.
17 Foaki ke lahi ki hoʻo tamaioʻeiki, koeʻuhi ke u moʻui, pea te u tauhi ki hoʻo folofola.
GIMEL. Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live and keep your word.
18 Ke ke fakaʻā hoku mata, koeʻuhi ke u mamata ki he ngaahi meʻa fakaofo ʻi hoʻo fono.
Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your Law.
19 Ko e muli au ʻi māmani: ʻoua naʻa fufū hoʻo ngaahi fekau ʻiate au.
I am a stranger on the earth. Do not hide your commandments from me.
20 ʻOku mafesi hoku laumālie koeʻuhi ko ʻene holi ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē.
My soul is consumed with longing for your ordinances at all times.
21 Kuo ke valokiʻi ʻae laukau, ʻakinautolu ʻoku malaʻia, ʻaia kuo hē mei hoʻo ngaahi fekau.
You have rebuked the proud who are cursed, who wander from your commandments.
22 ʻAve ʻiate au ʻae taukaea mo e manukia; he kuo u fai ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni.
Take reproach and contempt away from me, for I have kept your statutes.
23 Naʻe nofo foki ʻae ngaahi ʻeiki ʻo lauʻikoviʻi au: ka naʻe fakalauloto ʻa hoʻo tamaioʻeiki ki hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni.
Though princes sit and slander me, your servant will meditate on your statutes.
24 Ko hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni foki ko hoku fiefiaʻanga ia, mo hoku ngaahi akonakiʻi.
Indeed your statutes are my delight, and my counselors.
25 ʻOku pikitai ʻa hoku laumālie ki he efu: ke ke fakamoʻui au ʻo hangē ko hoʻo folofola.
DALET. My soul is laid low in the dust. Revive me according to your word.
26 Kuo u fakahā hoku ngaahi hala, pea naʻa ke ongoʻi au: ako kiate au hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni.
I declared my ways, and you answered me. Teach me your statutes.
27 Ngaohi au ke u ʻilo ʻae hala ʻo hoʻo ngaahi akonaki: pea te u lea ki hoʻo ngaahi ngāue fakaofo.
Let me understand the teaching of your precepts. Then I will meditate on your wondrous works.
28 Kuo vai ʻa hoku laumālie koeʻuhi ko e ongosia: fakamālohiʻi au ʻo hangē ko hoʻo folofola.
My soul is weary with sorrow: strengthen me according to your word.
29 Ke ke hiki ʻiate au ʻae hala ʻoe loi, pea ke tuku mai hoʻo fono kiate au ʻi he ʻofa.
Keep me from the way of deceit. Grant me your Law graciously.
30 Kuo u fili ʻae hala ʻoe moʻoni: pea kuo u fokotuʻu hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau ʻi hoku ʻao.
I have chosen the way of truth. I have set your ordinances before me.
31 Kuo u pikitai ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni; ʻE Sihova, ʻoua naʻa ke fakamaaʻi au.
I cling to your statutes, LORD. Do not let me be disappointed.
32 Te u lele ʻi he hala ʻo hoʻo ngaahi fekau, ʻoka ke ka fakaʻataʻatā hoku loto.
I run in the path of your commandments, for you have set my heart free.
33 ʻE Sihova, ke ke ako kiate au ʻae hala ʻo hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni; pea te u fai ki ai ʻo aʻu ki he ngataʻanga.
HEY. Teach me, LORD, the way of your statutes. I will keep them to the end.
34 Foaki mai kiate au ʻae faʻa ʻilo, pea te u fai ki hoʻo fono; ʻio, te u tokanga ki ai ʻaki hoku loto kotoa pē.
Give me understanding, and I will keep your Law. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart.
35 Ngaohi au ke u ʻalu ʻi he hala ʻo hoʻo ngaahi fekau; he ʻoku ou fiefia ai.
Direct me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in them.
36 Fakatokangaʻi hoku loto ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni, kae ʻikai ki he manumanu.
Turn my heart toward your statutes, not toward selfish gain.
37 Taʻofi hoku mata mei he vakai ki he meʻa vaʻinga; pea ke fakaakeake au ʻi ho hala.
Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things. Revive me in your ways.
38 Fakamoʻoni hoʻo folofola ki hoʻo tamaioʻeiki, ʻaia ʻoku fakaʻapaʻapa kiate koe.
Fulfill your promise to your servant, that you may be feared.
39 Taʻofi atu hoku manukia ʻaia ʻoku ou manavahē ai: he ʻoku lelei hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau.
Take away my disgrace that I dread, for your ordinances are good.
40 Vakai, ʻoku ou holi ki hoʻo ngaahi akonaki: fakamoʻui au ʻi ho māʻoniʻoni.
Look, I long for your precepts. Revive me in your righteousness.
41 ʻE Sihova, tuku ke hoko foki hoʻo ngaahi ʻaloʻofa kiate au, ʻio, ko hoʻo fakamoʻui, ʻo hangē ko hoʻo folofola.
VAV. Let your loving kindness also come to me, LORD, your salvation, according to your word.
42 Pehē te u maʻu ha meʻa ke tali ʻaki kiate ia ʻoku manukiʻi au: he ʻoku ou falala ki hoʻo folofola.
So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in your word.
43 Pea ʻoua naʻa toʻo ʻaupito ʻae folofola ʻoe moʻoni mei hoku ngutu; he kuo u ʻamanaki lelei ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau.
Do not snatch the word of truth out of my mouth, for I put my hope in your ordinances.
44 Pea te u fai maʻuaipē ki hoʻo fono ʻo lauikuonga pea taʻengata.
So I will obey your Law continually, forever and ever.
45 Pea te u ʻeveʻeva ʻi he tauʻatāina: he ʻoku ou kumi ki hoʻo ngaahi akonaki.
I will walk in liberty, for I have sought your precepts.
46 Te u lea foki ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni ʻi he ʻao ʻoe ngaahi tuʻi, pea ʻe ʻikai te u mā ai.
I will also speak of your statutes before kings, and will not be disappointed.
47 Pea te u fakafiefiaʻi au ʻi hoʻo ngaahi fekau, ʻaia kuo u ʻofa ki ai.
I will delight myself in your commandments, because I love them.
48 Te u hiki hake foki hoku nima ki hoʻo ngaahi fekau, ʻaia kuo u ʻofa ki ai pea te u fakalaulauloto ki hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni.
I reach out my hands for your commandments, which I love. I will meditate on your statutes.
49 Manatuʻi ʻae folofola ki hoʻo tamaioʻeiki, ʻaia kuo ke fakaʻamanakiʻi au ki ai.
ZAYIN. Remember your word to your servant, because you gave me hope.
50 Ko hoku fiemālieʻanga eni ʻi heʻeku mamahi: he ko hoʻo folofola kuo ne fakamoʻui au.
This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has revived me.
51 Kuo manuki lahi kiate au ʻae laukau: ka naʻe ʻikai te u afe mei hoʻo fono.
The arrogant mock me excessively, but I do not swerve from your Law.
52 ʻE Sihova, naʻaku manatu ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau ʻi muʻa; pea u fakafiemālieʻi au.
I remember your ordinances of old, LORD, and have comforted myself.
53 Kuo pukea au ʻe he ilifia koeʻuhi ko e angahala kuo nau siʻaki hoʻo fono.
Indignation has taken hold on me, because of the wicked who forsake your Law.
54 Ko hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni ko ʻeku hiva ia ʻi he fale ʻo ʻeku ʻāunofo.
Your statutes have been my songs, in the house where I live.
55 ʻE Sihova, kuo u manatu ki ho huafa ʻi he pō, pea u fai ki hoʻo fono.
I have remembered your name, LORD, in the night, and I obey your Law.
56 Naʻaku maʻu eni, ko e meʻa ʻi heʻeku fai ki hoʻo ngaahi akonaki.
This is my way, that I keep your precepts.
57 ʻE Sihova, ko hoku ʻinasi ʻa koe: naʻaku pehē te u fai ki hoʻo ngaahi folofola.
HET. The LORD is my portion. I promised to obey your words.
58 Naʻaku kole ki hoʻo ʻofa ʻaki hoku loto kotoa pē: ke ke ʻaloʻofa mai kiate au ʻo hangē ko hoʻo folofola.
I sought your favor with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to your word.
59 Naʻaku fifili ki hoku ngaahi ʻaluʻanga, pea u fakaafe hoku vaʻe ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni.
I considered my ways, and turned my steps to your statutes.
60 Ne u fakatoʻotoʻo, pea ʻikai tuai, ʻeku fai ki hoʻo ngaahi fekau.
I will hurry, and not delay, to obey your commandments.
61 Kuo kaihaʻasia au ʻe he ngaahi kaihaʻakau ʻoe kau angahala: ka naʻe ʻikai ngalo ʻiate au ʻa hoʻo fono.
The ropes of the wicked bind me, but I won't forget your Law.
62 Te u tuʻu hake ʻi he tuʻuapō mālie ke fakafetaʻi kiate koe, koeʻuhi ko hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau māʻoniʻoni.
At midnight I will rise to give thanks to you, because of your righteous ordinances.
63 ʻOku ou kaumeʻa mo kinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku manavahē kiate koe, mo kinautolu ʻoku fai ki hoʻo ngaahi fekau.
I am a friend of all those who fear you, of those who observe your precepts.
64 ʻE Sihova, ʻoku fonu ʻa māmani ʻi hoʻo ʻaloʻofa: ke ke ako kiate au ʻa hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni.
The earth is full of your loving kindness, LORD. Teach me your statutes.
65 ʻE Sihova, kuo ke fie fai lelei ki hoʻo tamaioʻeiki, ʻo hangē ko hoʻo folofola.
TET. Do good to your servant, according to your word, LORD.
66 Ke ke ako kiate au ʻae fakamaau lelei mo e faʻa ʻilo: he ʻoku ou tui ki hoʻo ngaahi fekau.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments.
67 ʻI he teʻeki ai te u mahaki naʻaku hē: ka ko eni kuo u fai ki hoʻo folofola.
Before I was afflicted, I went astray; but now I observe your word.
68 ʻOku ke angalelei, pea ʻoku ke fai lelei; ke ke ako kiate au ʻa hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni.
You are good, and do good. Teach me your statutes.
69 Kuo fakatupu ʻe he fielahi ʻae loi kiate au: ka te u fai ki hoʻo ngaahi akonaki ʻaki hoku loto kotoa pē.
The proud have smeared a lie upon me. With my whole heart, I will keep your precepts.
70 ʻOku tatau honau loto mo e ngako, ka ʻoku ou fiefia ʻi hoʻo fono.
Their heart is as callous as the fat, but I delight in your Law.
71 Kuo ʻaonga kiate au ʻa hoku mahaki; koeʻuhi ke u ʻilo ai hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn your statutes.
72 ʻOku lelei lahi kiate au ʻae fono ʻaho fofonga ʻi he ngaahi afe ʻoe kuonga koula mo e siliva.
The Law you have spoken is better to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.
73 Ko ho nima naʻa ne ngaohi au mo fakatonutonu: foaki mai ʻae poto, koeʻuhi ke u ʻiloʻi hoʻo ngaahi fekau.
YOD. Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.
74 Ko kinautolu ʻoku manavahē kiate koe tenau fiefia ʻoka nau ka mamata kiate au; koeʻuhi naʻaku ʻamanaki ki hoʻo folofola.
Those who fear you will see me and be glad, because I have put my hope in your word.
75 ʻE Sihova, ʻoku ou ʻilo ʻoku totonu hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau, pea ʻi he angatonu kuo ke fakamamahiʻi au.
LORD, I know that your judgments are righteous, that in faithfulness you have humbled me.
76 ʻOku ou kole kiate koe, tuku ke fakafiemālieʻi au ʻe hoʻo ʻaloʻofa, ʻo hangē ko hoʻo folofola ki hoʻo tamaioʻeiki.
Please let your loving kindness be for my comfort, according to your word to your servant.
77 Tuku ke hoko kiate au hoʻo ngaahi ʻaloʻofa ongongofua, koeʻuhi ke u moʻui ai: he ko hoʻo fono ko hoku fiefiaʻanga ia.
Let your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; for your Law is my delight.
78 Tuku ke mā ʻae fielahi; he naʻa Tuku ke tafoki mai kiate au ʻakinautolu ʻoku manavahē kiate koe, pea mo kinautolu kuo nau ʻiloʻi hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni.
Let the proud be disappointed, for they have overthrown me wrongfully. I will meditate on your precepts.
79 Tuku ke tafoki mai kiate au ʻakinautolu ʻoku manavahē kiate koe, pea mo kinautolu kuo nau ʻiloʻi hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni.
Let those who fear you turn to me. They will know your statutes.
80 Tuku ke haohaoa hoku loto ʻi hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni; koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻaku mā ai.
Let my heart be blameless toward your decrees, that I may not be disappointed.
81 ʻOku pongia hoku laumālie ʻi he fiemaʻu hoʻo fakamoʻui: ka ʻoku ou ʻamanaki ki hoʻo folofola.
KAPH. My soul faints for your salvation. I hope in your word.
82 ʻOku vaivai hoku mata koeʻuhi ko hoʻo folofola, ʻoku ou pehē, “Te ke fakafiemālieʻi au ʻafē?”
My eyes fail for your word. I say, "When will you comfort me?"

For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke. I do not forget your statutes.
84 ʻOku fiha ʻae ngaahi ʻaho ʻo hoʻo tamaioʻeiki? Te ke fakamaau ʻafē ʻakinautolu ʻoku fakatangaʻi au?
How many are the days of your servant? When will you execute judgment on those who persecute me?
85 Kuo keli ʻe he fielahi ʻae ngaahi luo kiate au ʻaia ʻoku ʻikai tatau mo hoʻo fono.
The proud have dug pits for me, contrary to your Law.
86 ʻOku tuʻumaʻu hoʻo ngaahi fekau kotoa pē: ʻoku taʻetotonu ʻenau fakatangaʻi au; ke ke tokoniʻi au,
All of your commandments are faithful. They persecute me wrongfully. Help me.
87 Naʻa nau meimei fakaʻauha au ʻi māmani ka naʻe ʻikai te u siʻaki hoʻo ngaahi akonaki.
They had almost wiped me from the earth, but I did not forsake your precepts.
88 Fakamoʻui au ʻo hangē ko hoʻo ʻaloʻofa; ko ia te u tauhi ai ʻae fakamoʻoni ʻa ho fofonga.
Preserve my life according to your loving kindness, so I will obey the statutes of your mouth.
89 ʻE Sihova, ʻoku tuʻumaʻu hoʻo folofola ʻi he langi ʻo lauikuonga.
LAMED. LORD, your word is settled in heaven forever.
90 ʻOku aʻu atu hoʻo moʻoni ki he ngaahi toʻutangata kotoa pē: kuo ke fokotuʻu ʻa māmani, pea ʻoku tuʻumaʻu ia.
Your faithfulness is to all generations. You have established the earth, and it remains.
91 ʻOku nau tolonga he ʻaho ni ʻo hangē ko hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni: he ko hoʻo kau tamaioʻeiki ʻae meʻa kotoa pē.
Your laws remain to this day, for all things serve you.
92 Ka ne ʻikai ko hoku fiefiaʻanga ʻa hoʻo fono, pehē, ne u mate ʻi hoku mahaki.
Unless your Law had been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
93 ʻE ʻikai siʻi ngalo ʻiate au hoʻo ngaahi akonaki ʻo lauikuonga: he ko ia kuo ke fakamoʻui ai au.
I will never forget your precepts, for with them, you have revived me.
94 ʻOku ʻaʻau au, ke ke fakamoʻui au he kuo u kumi ki hoʻo ngaahi akonaki.
I am yours. Save me, for I have sought your precepts.
95 Kuo tatali ʻae angahala kiate au ke tāmateʻi au: ka te u fifili ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni.
The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me. I will consider your statutes.
96 Kuo u mamata ki hono ngataʻanga ʻoe haohaoa kotoa pē: ka ʻoku laulahi ʻaupito ʻa hoʻo fekau.
I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commands are boundless.
97 ʻOku ou ʻofa lahi ki hoʻo fono: ʻoku ou fakalaulauloto ki ai ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē.
MEM. How I love your Law. It is my meditation all day.
98 Kuo ke ngaohi au ʻi hoʻo ngaahi fekau ke u poto hake ʻi hoku ngaahi fili: he ʻoku ʻiate au maʻuaipē ia.
Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for your commandments are always with me.
99 ʻOku ou poto lahi hake ʻi heʻeku kau akonaki kotoa pē: he ko hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni ko hoku fakakaukauʻanga ia.
I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my (meditation)
100 ʻOku ou ʻilo lahi hake ʻi he kau mātuʻa, koeʻuhi ʻoku ou tauhi hoʻo ngaahi akonaki.
I understand more than the aged, because I have kept your precepts.
101 Naʻaku taʻofi hoku vaʻe mei he hala kovi kotoa pē, koeʻuhi ke u fai ki hoʻo folofola.
I have kept my feet from every evil way, that I might observe your word.
102 Naʻe ʻikai te u afe mei hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau: he kuo ke akonakiʻi au.
I have not turned aside from your ordinances, for you have taught me.
103 ʻOku huʻamelie lahi hoʻo ngaahi folofola ki hoku ifo! ʻIo, ʻoku melie lahi ʻi he hone ki hoku ngutu!
How sweet are your promises to my taste, more than honey to my mouth.
104 ʻOku ou maʻu ʻae poto ʻi hoʻo ngaahi akonaki: ko ia ʻoku ou fehiʻa ai ki he hala kotoa pē ʻoe loi.
Through your precepts, I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
105 Ko hoʻo folofola ko e tūhulu ia ki hoku vaʻe, mo e maama ki hoku hala.
NUN. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.
106 Kuo u fuakava, pea te u fai ki ai, ke u fai ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau māʻoniʻoni.
I have sworn, and have confirmed it, that I will obey your righteous ordinances.

I am afflicted very much. Revive me, LORD, according to your word.
108 ʻE Sihova, ʻoku ou kole kiate koe, ke ke maʻu ʻae ngaahi feilaulau loto lelei ʻa hoku ngutu, pea ke ako kiate au hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau.
Please accept the freewill offerings of my mouth, LORD, and teach me your ordinances.
109 ʻOku ʻi hoku nima maʻuaipē ʻa ʻeku moʻui: ka ʻoku ʻikai ngalo ʻiate au hoʻo fono.
My soul is continually in my hand, yet I won't forget your Law.
110 Kuo ʻai ʻe he angahala ʻae tauhele kiate au: ka naʻe ʻikai te u hē mei hoʻo ngaahi akonaki.
The wicked have laid a snare for me, yet I haven't gone astray from your precepts.
111 Kuo u maʻu ʻa hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni ko hoku tofiʻa ʻo lauikuonga: he ko e fiefiaʻanga ia ʻo hoku loto.
I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.
112 Kuo u fakatokangaʻi hoku loto ke fai maʻuaipē ki hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni, ʻo aʻu ki he ngataʻanga.
I have set my heart to perform your statutes forever, even to the end.

Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.
116 Poupou hake au ʻo hangē ko hoʻo folofola, koeʻuhi ke u moʻui ai. Pea ʻoua naʻa tuku au ke u mā ʻi heʻeku ʻamanaki.
Uphold me according to your word, that I may live. Let me not be ashamed of my hope.
117 Ke ke poupou hake au, pea te u hao ai: pea te u tokanga maʻuaipē ki hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni.
Hold me up, and I will be safe, and will have respect for your statutes continually.
118 Kuo ke malaki hifo ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku hē mei hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni: he ko ʻenau kākā ko e loi ia.
You reject all those who stray from your statutes, for their deceit is in vain.
119 ʻOku ke siʻaki ʻae kau angahala kotoa pē ʻo māmani ʻo hangē ko e ʻotoʻota: ko ia ʻoku ou ʻofa ai ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni.
You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross. Therefore I love your testimonies.
120 ʻOku tetetete hoku kakano ko e meʻa ʻi heʻeku manavahē kiate koe; pea ʻoku ou manavahē ki hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau.
My flesh trembles for fear of you. I am afraid of your judgments.

AYIN. I have done what is just and righteous. Do not leave me to my oppressors.

Ensure your servant's well-being. Do not let the proud oppress me.

My eyes fail looking for your salvation, for your righteous word.
124 Fai ki hoʻo tamaioʻeiki ʻo hangē ko hoʻo ʻaloʻofa, pea ke ako kiate au ʻa hoʻo ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni.
Deal with your servant according to your loving kindness. Teach me your statutes.
125 Ko hoʻo tamaioʻeiki au; foaki mai ʻae poto, koeʻuhi ke u ʻilo ai hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni.
I am your servant. Give me understanding, that I may know your testimonies.
126 ʻE Sihova, kuo hoko ʻae kuonga ke ke ngāue ai: he kuo nau fakataʻeʻaongaʻi hoʻo fono.
It is time to act, LORD, for they break your Law.
127 Ko ia ʻoku ou ʻofa lahi hake ki hoʻo ngaahi fekau ʻi he koula; ʻio, ʻi he koula lelei.
Therefore I love your commandments more than gold, yes, more than pure gold.
128 Ko ia ʻoku ou pehē ʻoku totonu hoʻo ngaahi akonaki kotoa pē; pea ʻoku ou fehiʻa ki he hala kotoa pē ʻoe loi.
Therefore I consider all of your precepts to be right. I hate every false way.

PEY. Your testimonies are wonderful, therefore my soul keeps them.
130 Ko e hū loto ʻa hoʻo ngaahi folofola ʻoku foaki ai ʻae maama; ʻoku ʻomi ʻe ia ʻae poto ki he taʻekākā.
The entrance of your words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple.
131 Ne u mafaʻa hoku ngutu, pea u holi he ʻoku ou feinga ki hoʻo ngaahi fekau.
I opened my mouth wide and panted, for I longed for your commandments.
132 Ke ke ʻafio mai kiate au, mo ke ʻaloʻofa kiate au, ʻo hangē ko hoʻo faʻa fai kiate kinautolu ʻoku ʻofa ki ho huafa.
Turn to me, and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name.
133 Tuʻutuʻuni ʻeku ngaahi laka ʻi hoʻo folofola: pea ʻoua naʻa tuku ke pule kiate au ha hia ʻe taha.
Establish my footsteps in your word. Do not let any iniquity have dominion over me.

Redeem me from the oppression of man, so I will observe your precepts.

Make your face shine on your servant. Teach me your statutes.
136 ʻOku tafe hifo ʻae ngaahi vaitafe ʻi hoku mata, koeʻuhi ʻoku ʻikai tenau tokanga ki hoʻo fono.
Streams of tears run down my eyes, because they do not observe your Law.
137 ʻE Sihova, ʻoku ke angatonu, pea ʻoku totonu hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau.
TZADE. You are righteous, LORD. Your judgments are upright.
138 ʻOku māʻoniʻoni pea ʻoku tuʻumaʻu ʻaupito hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni, ʻaia kuo ke fekau mai.
You have commanded your statutes in righteousness. They are fully trustworthy.
139 Kuo u ʻosiʻosiloto ʻi heʻeku fai feinga, koeʻuhi kuo ngalo ʻi hoku ngaahi fili hoʻo ngaahi folofola.
My zeal wears me out, because my enemies ignore your words.
140 ʻOku haohaoa ʻaupito hoʻo folofola: ko ia ʻoku ʻofa ki ai ʻa hoʻo tamaioʻeiki.
Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.
141 ʻOku ou siʻi au mo manukia: ka ʻoku ʻikai ngalo ʻiate au hoʻo ngaahi akonaki.
I am small and despised. I do not forget your precepts.
142 Ko hoʻo māʻoniʻoni ko e māʻoniʻoni taʻengata, pea ko hoʻo fono ko e moʻoni ia.
Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness. Your Law is truth.
143 Kuo pukea au ʻe he mamahi mo e feinga: ka ko hoʻo ngaahi fekau ko hoku fiefiaʻanga ia.
Trouble and anguish have taken hold of me. Your commandments are my delight.

Your testimonies are righteous forever. Give me understanding, that I may live.

QOPH. I have called with my whole heart. Answer me, LORD. I will keep your statutes.

I have called to you. Save me. I will obey your statutes.

I rise before dawn and cry for help. I put my hope in your words.
148 ʻOku muʻomuʻa ʻa hoku mata ki he ngaahi leʻo ʻoe pō, koeʻuhi ke u fakakaukau ki hoʻo folofola.
My eyes stay open through the night watches, that I might meditate on your word.
149 Ke ke fanongo ki hoku leʻo ʻo hangē ko hoʻo ʻaloʻofa: ʻE Sihova, fakamoʻui au ʻo hangē ko hoʻo fakamaau.
Hear my voice according to your loving kindness. Revive me, LORD, according to your ordinances.
150 ʻOku ʻunuʻunu mai ʻakinautolu ʻoku nau angimui ki he kovi: ʻoku nau mamaʻo mei hoʻo fono.
They draw near who follow after wickedness. They are far from your Law.
151 ʻOku ke ofi mai, ʻE Sihova; pea ʻoku moʻoni hoʻo ngaahi fekau kotoa pē.
You are near, LORD. All your commandments are truth.
152 Koeʻuhi ko hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni, kuo fuoloa ʻeku ʻilo kuo ke fakamaau ia ʻo lauikuonga.
Of old I have known from your testimonies, that you have founded them forever.

RESH. Consider my affliction, and deliver me, for I do not forget your Law.

Plead my cause, and redeem me. Revive me according to your promise.

Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek your statutes.

Great are your tender mercies, LORD. Revive me according to your ordinances.
157 ʻOku tokolahi hoku kau fakatanga mo hoku ngaahi fili; ka ʻoku ʻikai te u afe mei hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni.
Many are my persecutors and my adversaries. I haven't swerved from your testimonies.
158 Naʻaku mamata ki he kau talangataʻa, pea u mamahi ai; koeʻuhi naʻe ʻikai tenau fai ki hoʻo folofola.
I look at the faithless with loathing, because they do not observe your word.
159 Ke ke ʻafio ki hono anga ʻo ʻeku ʻofa ki hoʻo ngaahi akonaki: fakamoʻui au, ʻE Sihova, ʻo hangē ko hoʻo ʻaloʻofa.
Consider how I love your precepts. Revive me, LORD, according to your loving kindness.
160 ʻOku moʻoni hoʻo folofola mei hono kamataʻanga: pea ʻoku tolonga ʻo taʻengata hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau māʻoniʻoni kotoa pē.
All of your words are truth. Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever.
161 Kuo fakatanga au taʻehanoʻuhinga ʻe he ngaahi ʻeiki: ka ʻoku fakaʻapaʻapa ʻa hoku loto ki hoʻo folofola.
SIN and SHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause, but my heart stands in awe of your words.
162 ʻOku ou fiefia ʻi hoʻo folofola, ʻo hangē ko e taha ʻoku ne ʻilo ʻae koloa lahi.
I rejoice at your word, as one who finds great spoil.

I hate and abhor falsehood. I love your Law.

Seven times a day, I praise you, because of your righteous ordinances.

Those who love your Law have great peace. Nothing causes them to stumble.
166 ʻE Sihova, kuo u ʻamanaki ki hoʻo fakamoʻui, pea kuo u fai ki hoʻo ngaahi fekau.
I have hoped for your salvation, LORD. I have done your commandments.
167 Kuo tauhi ʻe hoku laumālie ʻa hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni; pea ʻoku ou ʻofa lahi ʻaupito ki ai.
My soul has observed your testimonies. I love them exceedingly.
168 Kuo u fai ki hoʻo ngaahi akonaki mo hoʻo ngaahi fakamoʻoni: he ʻoku ʻi ho ʻao hoku ngaahi ʻaluʻanga kotoa pē.
I have obeyed your precepts and your testimonies, for all my ways are before you.

Let my lips utter praise, for you teach me your statutes.

Let my tongue sing of your word, for all your commandments are righteousness.

Let your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts.

I have longed for your salvation, LORD. Your Law is my delight.

Let my soul live, that I may praise you. Let your ordinances help me.
176 Naʻaku hē ʻo hangē ko e sipi kuo mole; ke ke kumi hoʻo tamaioʻeiki; he ʻoku ʻikai ngalo ʻiate au hoʻo ngaahi fekau.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I do not forget your commandments.
