< Saame 104 >
1 Fakafetaʻi kia Sihova, ʻa hoku laumālie. ʻE Sihova ko hoku ʻOtua, ʻoku ke lahi ʻaupito; kuo kofuʻaki koe ʻae fakaʻapaʻapa mo e māfimafi.
Bless the LORD, my soul. The LORD, my God, you are very great. You are clothed with splendor and majesty.
2 ʻOku ke ʻufiʻufi ʻaki koe ʻae maama ʻo hangē ko e kofu: ʻoku ke fofola atu ʻae ngaahi langi ʻo hangē ko e puipui:
He covers himself with light as with a garment. He stretches out the heavens like a curtain.
3 ʻOku ne ʻai ʻae ngaahi utupoto ʻo hono ngaahi fale ʻi he ngaahi vai: pea ko ʻene saliote ʻae ngaahi ʻao: pea ʻoku hāʻele ia ʻi he ngaahi kapakau ʻoe matangi:
He lays the beams of his chambers in the waters. He makes the clouds his chariot. He walks on the wings of the wind.
4 ʻOku ne ngaohi ʻene kau ʻāngelo ke hangē ko e matangi; mo ʻene kau faifekau ko e afi ʻoku ulo:
He makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire.
5 Naʻa ne ʻai ʻae ngaahi tuʻunga ʻo māmani, ke ʻoua naʻa ueʻi ia ʻo lauikuonga.
He laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved forever and ever.
6 ʻOku ke ʻufiʻufi ʻaki ia ʻae loloto ʻo hangē ko e kofu: naʻe tuʻu ʻae ngaahi vai ʻo māʻolunga hake ʻi he ngaahi moʻunga.
You covered it with the deep as with a cloak. The waters stood above the mountains.
7 ʻI hoʻo valoki naʻa nau puna; ʻi he leʻo ʻo hoʻo fatulisi naʻa nau hola ai.
At your rebuke they fled. At the voice of your thunder they hurried away.
8 ʻOku nau ʻalu hake ʻi he ngaahi moʻunga, pea nau ʻalu hifo ʻi he ngaahi vahaʻa moʻunga, ki he potu kuo ke teuteu ki ai.
The mountains rose, the valleys sank down, to the place which you had assigned to them.
9 Kuo ke ʻai hono ngataʻanga ke ʻoua naʻa ʻalu atu ia ʻi ai; koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻa toe haʻu ia ke lōfia ʻa māmani.
You have set a boundary that they may not pass over; that they do not turn again to cover the earth.
10 ʻOku ne fekau atu ʻae ngaahi matavai ʻi he ngaahi luo, ʻaia ʻoku tafe ʻi he lotolotonga ʻoe ngaahi foʻi moʻunga.
He sends forth springs into the valleys. They run among the mountains.
11 ʻOku inu mei ai ʻae fanga manu kotoa pē ʻoe vao: pea ʻoku inu ʻo fiu ai ʻae fanga ʻasi hehengi.
They give drink to every animal of the field. The wild donkeys quench their thirst.
12 ʻOku maʻu ʻi ai ʻe he manupuna ʻoe ʻatā honau nofoʻanga, ʻoku nau hiva ʻi he ngaahi vaʻa.
The birds of the sky nest by them; among the branches they give forth a sound.
13 ʻOku ne fakaviviku ʻae ngaahi foʻi moʻunga mei hono fale ʻafioʻanga: ʻoku mākona ʻae kelekele ʻi he fua ʻo hoʻo ngaahi ngāue.
He waters the mountains from his chambers. The earth is filled with the fruit of your works.
14 ʻOku fakatupu ʻe ia ʻae mohuku maʻae fanga manu, mo e ʻakau ke ʻaonga ki he tangata: koeʻuhi ke ne ʻomi ʻae meʻakai mei he kelekele;
He causes the grass to grow for the livestock, and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food out of the earth:
15 Mo e uaine ʻaia ʻoku fakafiefiaʻi ʻae loto ʻoe tangata, mo e lolo ke fakangingila hono mata, mo e mā ke fakamālohi ʻae loto ʻoe tangata.
wine that makes glad the heart of man, oil to make his face to shine, and bread that strengthens man's heart.
16 ʻOku fonu ʻi he huhuʻa ʻae ngaahi ʻakau ʻo Sihova; ko e ngaahi sita ʻo Lepanoni, ʻaia kuo ne tō;
The LORD's trees are well watered, the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted;
17 ʻOku ngaohi ʻi ai ʻe he fanga manupuna honau pununga: pea ko e sitoaka, ko hono fale ko e ngaahi ʻakau ko e paini.
where the birds make their nests. The stork makes its home in the fir trees.
18 Ko e ngaahi foʻi moʻunga māʻolunga ko e hūfanga ia ʻoe fanga kosi hehengi; pea mo e ngaahi maka ki he fanga koni.
The high mountains are for the wild goats. The rocks are a refuge for the rock badgers.
19 Naʻa ne tuʻutuʻuni ʻae māhina ki he ngaahi faʻahitaʻu: ʻoku ʻiloʻi ʻe he laʻā hono tōʻanga.
He appointed the moon for seasons. The sun knows when to set.
20 ʻOku ke ngaohi ʻae poʻuli, pea ko e pō ia: pea ʻoku totolo atu ʻi ai ʻae fanga manu kotoa pē ʻoe vao.
You make darkness, and it is night, in which all the animals of the forest prowl.
21 ʻOku ngungulu ʻae fanga laione mui ke maʻu ʻenau meʻa, pea nau kumi ʻenau meʻakai mei he ʻOtua.
The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.
22 ʻOku hopo hake ʻae laʻā, pea ʻoku nau fakataha ai, ʻonau tokoto ʻi honau ngaahi ʻana.
The sun rises, and they steal away, and lie down in their dens.
23 ʻOku ʻalu atu ʻae tangata ki heʻene ngāue, mo ʻene ngoue ʻo aʻu ki he efiafi.
Man goes forth to his work, to his labor until the evening.
24 ʻE Sihova, hono ʻikai lahi ʻa hoʻo ngaahi ngāue! Kuo ke ngaohi kotoa pē ia ʻi he poto: ʻoku fonu ʻa māmani ʻi hoʻo koloa.
LORD, how many are your works. In wisdom have you made them all. The earth is full of your riches.
25 Pea ʻoku pehē ʻae tahi lahi ni mo laulahi, ʻa ia ʻoku ai ʻae ngaahi meʻa totolo taʻefaʻalaua, ʻae fanga ika iiki mo e lalahi.
There is the sea, great and wide, in which are innumerable living things, both small and large animals.
26 ʻOku ʻalu ʻi ai ʻae ngaahi vaka: ʻoku ʻi ai ʻae levaiatani ko ia, ʻaia kuo ke ngaohi ke ne fakavā ai.
There the ships go, and leviathan, whom you formed to play there.
27 ʻOku tatali ʻakinautolu ni kotoa pē kiate koe: koeʻuhi ke ke foaki kiate kinautolu ʻenau meʻakai ʻi he feituʻulaʻā totonu.
All of them look to you to give them their food at the proper time.
28 Ko ia ʻoku ke foaki kiate kinautolu ʻoku nau tānaki: ʻoku ke mafola ho nima, pea ʻoku pito ʻakinautolu ʻi he lelei.
You give to them; they gather. You open your hand; they are satisfied with good.
29 ʻOku ke fufū ho fofonga, pea nau mamahi ai: ʻoku ke toʻo atu ʻenau mānava, pea nau mate, pea foki ki honau efu.
You hide your face: they are troubled; you take away their breath: they die, and return to the dust.
30 ʻOku ke fekau atu ho Laumālie, pea ʻoku fakatupu ai ʻakinautolu: pea ʻoku ke fakafoʻou ʻae funga ʻo māmani.
You send forth your Spirit: they are created. You renew the face of the ground.
31 ʻE tolonga ʻo taʻengata ʻae nāunau ʻo Sihova: ʻe fiefia ʻa Sihova ʻi heʻene ngaahi ngāue.
Let the glory of the LORD endure forever. Let the LORD rejoice in his works.
32 ʻOku ʻafio ia ki māmani, pea tetetete ia: ʻoku ala ia ki he ngaahi foʻi moʻunga, pea ʻoku nau kohu ai.
He looks at the earth, and it trembles. He touches the mountains, and they smoke.
33 Te u hiva kia Sihova ʻi heʻeku kei moʻui: te u hiva fakamālō ki hoku ʻOtua ʻi he lolotonga ʻo ʻeku moʻui.
I will sing to the LORD all my life. I will sing praise to my God as long as I exist.
34 ʻE melie ʻa ʻeku fakakaukau kiate ia: te u fiefia ʻia Sihova.
Let your meditation be sweet to him. I will rejoice in the LORD.
35 Tuku ke ʻosiʻosingamālie ʻae kakai angahala mei māmani, pea ʻoua naʻa kei toe ʻae kau angakovi. Fakafetaʻi kia Sihova, ʻa hoku laumālie. Mou fakamālō kia Sihova.
Let sinners be consumed out of the earth. Let the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, my soul. Praise the LORD.
