< Filipai 4 >
1 Ko ia, ko hoku kāinga ʻofeina ʻoku ou holi ki ai, ko e fiefiaʻanga mo ʻeku teunga, ʻae ʻofeina lahi, ke mou tuʻumaʻu ʻi he ʻEiki.
So then, my brethren, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand ye in the Lord, beloved.
2 ʻOku ou kole kia ʻIuotia, pea u kole kia Siniteke, ke na loto taha pe ʻi he ʻEiki.
Euodia I exhort, and Syntyche I exhort, to be of the same mind in the Lord;
3 Pea ʻoku ou kole atu kiate koe foki, ko [hoku ]hoa moʻoni, ke ke tokoniʻi ʻae kau fefine ko ia naʻe ngāue mo au ʻi he ongoongolelei, mo Kelemeni foki, pea mo hono toe ʻo ʻeku kaunga ngāue, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he tohi ʻoe moʻui honau hingoa.
and I ask also thee, genuine yoke-fellow, be assisting those women who in the good news did strive along with me, with Clement also, and the others, my fellow-workers, whose names [are] in the book of life.
4 Fiefia maʻuaipē ʻi he ʻEiki: ʻoku ou toe pehē, Fiefia.
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice;
5 Tuku ke ʻilo ʻe he kakai kotoa pē hoʻomou ʻulungāanga lelei. ʻOku ofi ʻae ʻEiki.
let your forbearance be known to all men; the Lord [is] near;
6 ʻOua naʻa tokanga mamahi ki ha meʻa ʻe taha; kae fakahā atu hoʻomou holi ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē, ki he ʻOtua, ʻi he lotu mo e lotu tāumaʻu mo e fakafetaʻi.
for nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God;
7 Pea ko e melino ʻoe ʻOtua, ʻaia ʻoku lahi hake ʻaupito ʻi he faʻa ʻiloa, te ne maluʻi homou laumālie mo homou loto ʻia Kalaisi Sisu.
and the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
8 E kāinga, ko hono fakaʻosi [eni], ke ʻilonga ʻae ngaahi meʻa ʻoku moʻoni, ke ʻilonga ʻae ngaahi meʻa ʻoku matamatalelei, ke ʻilonga ʻae ngaahi meʻa ʻoku totonu, ke ʻilonga ʻae ngaahi meʻa ʻoku māʻoniʻoni, ke ʻilonga ʻae ngaahi meʻa ʻoku fakaʻofoʻofa, ke ʻilonga ʻae ngaahi meʻa ʻoku ongoongolelei; kapau ʻoku ai ha lelei, pe ha meʻa ke fakamālōʻia, tokanga ki he ngaahi meʻa ko ia.
As to the rest, brethren, as many things as are true, as many as [are] grave, as many as [are] righteous, as many as [are] pure, as many as [are] lovely, as many as [are] of good report, if any worthiness, and if any praise, these things think upon;
9 Ko e ngaahi meʻa ko ia, naʻa mou akonekina ai, mo maʻu, mo ongoʻi, mo mamata ki ai, ʻiate au, fai ia: pea ʻe ʻiate kimoutolu ʻae ʻOtua ʻoe melino.
the things that also ye did learn, and receive, and hear, and saw in me, those do, and the God of the peace shall be with you.
10 Ka naʻaku fiefia lahi ʻi he ʻEiki, koeʻuhi kuo toe ake ki mui ni hoʻomou tokanga kiate au; ʻaia naʻa mou tokanga ai foki, ka naʻa mou taʻehafaingamālie.
And I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at length ye flourished again in caring for me, for which also ye were caring, and lacked opportunity;
11 Ka ʻoku ʻikai te u lea koeʻuhi ko ha masiva: he kuo akonekina au, ke u fiemālie ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē teu ʻi ai.
not that in respect of want I say [it], for I did learn in the things in which I am — to be content;
12 ʻOku ou ʻilo ke fai ʻi he masiva, pea ʻoku ou ʻilo ke fai ʻi he maʻu ʻo lahi: kuo akonekina au ʻi he potu kotoa pē mo e meʻa kotoa pē ke mākona pe fiekaia, ke u maʻu ʻo lahi pea ke kātaki ʻae masiva.
I have known both to be abased, and I have known to abound; in everything and in all things I have been initiated, both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want.
13 ʻOku ou faʻa fai ʻae ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē ʻia Kalaisi ʻoku ne fakamālohiʻi au.
For all things I have strength, in Christ's strengthening me;
14 Ka neongo ia, kuo mou fai lelei ʻi hoʻomou kau ʻi heʻeku mamahi.
but ye did well, having communicated with my tribulation;
15 Pea ko eni, ʻae kau Filipai, ke mou ʻilo foki, ʻi he kamataʻanga ʻoe ongoongolelei, ʻi heʻeku ʻalu mei Masitōnia, naʻe ʻikai kau ha siasi ʻe taha kiate au ʻi he fefoakiʻaki, ka ko kimoutolu pe.
and ye have known, even ye Philippians, that in the beginning of the good news when I went forth from Macedonia, no assembly did communicate with me in regard to giving and receiving except ye only;
16 Naʻa mo ʻeku ʻi Tesalonika naʻa mou tokoni ʻo liunga taha mo liunga ua ki heʻeku masiva.
because also in Thessalonica, both once and again to my need ye sent;
17 Kae ʻikai ʻi heʻeku holi ki ha foaki: ka ʻoku ou holi ki ha fua ʻe ʻaonga kiate kimoutolu.
not that I seek after the gift, but I seek after the fruit that is overflowing to your account;
18 Ka kuo ʻiate au kotoa pē, pea lahi ʻaupito: ʻoku ou mahu, he kuo u maʻu ia Epafalotaito ʻae ngaahi meʻa meiate kimoutolu, ko e ngangatu ʻoe meʻa namu kakala, ko e feilaulau ʻaonga, pea lelei ki he ʻOtua.
and I have all things, and abound; I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things from you — an odour of a sweet smell — a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God:
19 Ka ʻe taufetuku ʻe hoku ʻOtua ki hoʻomou masiva kotoa pē, ʻo fakatatau ki heʻene koloa ʻi he nāunau ʻia Kalaisi Sisu.
and my God shall supply all your need, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus;
20 Pea ko eni, ke ʻi he ʻOtua ko ʻetau Tamai ʻae nāunau ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata. ʻEmeni. (aiōn )
and to God, even our Father, [is] the glory — to the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
21 ʻOfa atu ki he kāinga māʻoniʻoni kotoa pē ʻia Kalaisi Sisu. Ko e kāinga ʻoku ʻiate au ʻoku ʻofa atu kiate kimoutolu.
Salute ye every saint in Christ Jesus; there salute you the brethren with me;
22 ʻOku ʻofa atu ʻae kāinga māʻoniʻoni kotoa pē kiate kimoutolu, kae lahi hake ʻakinautolu ʻoku ʻi he fale ʻo Sisa.
there salute you all the saints, and specially those of Caesar's house;
23 Ke ʻiate kimoutolu kotoa pē ʻae ʻofa ʻa hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi. ʻEmeni.
the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with you all. Amen.
