On the day that Moses completed the tabernacle, he anointed it and set it apart to Yahweh, together with all of its furnishings. He did the same for the altar and all its utensils. He anointed them and set them apart to Yahweh.

On that day, the leaders of Israel, the heads of their ancestor's families, offered sacrifices. These men were leading the tribes. They had overseen the counting of the men in the census.
3 Pea naʻa nau ʻomi ʻenau feilaulau ki he ʻao ʻo Sihova, ko e saliote ʻe ono kuo fakapulonga, mo e fanga pulu ʻe hongofulu ma ua; ko e saliote ʻe taha ki he ongo ʻeiki ʻe toko ua, pea naʻa na taki taha ʻae pulu: pea naʻa nau ʻomi ia ki he matafale fehikitaki.
They brought their offerings before Yahweh. They brought six covered carts and twelve oxen. They brought one cart for every two leaders, and each leader brought one ox. They presented these things in front of the tabernacle.
4 Pea naʻe folofola ʻa Sihova kia Mōsese, ʻo pehē,
Then Yahweh spoke to Moses. He said,
5 “Ke ke maʻu ia meiate kinautolu, koeʻuhi ke fai ʻaki ia ʻae ngāue ʻoe fale fehikitaki ʻoe kakai; pea te ke tuku ia ki he kau Livai, ki he tangata taki taha ʻo fakatatau ki heʻene ngāue.”
“Accept the offerings from them and use the offerings for the work in the tent of meeting. Give the offerings to the Levites, to each one as his work needs them.”
6 Pea naʻe ʻave ʻe Mōsese ʻae ngaahi saliote mo e fanga pulu, ʻo ne foaki ia ki he kau Livai.
Moses took the carts and the oxen, and he gave them to the Levites.
7 Ko e saliote ʻe ua mo e fanga pulu ʻe fā, naʻa ne foaki ki he ngaahi foha ʻo Kesoni, ʻo fakatatau ki heʻenau ngāue:
He gave two carts and four oxen to the descendants of Gershon, because of what their work needed.
8 Pea mo e saliote ʻe fā mo e fanga pulu ʻe valu naʻa ne foaki ki he ngaahi foha ʻo Melali, ʻo fakatatau ki heʻenau ngāue, ʻi he pule ʻa ʻItama ko e foha ʻo ʻElone ko e taulaʻeiki.
He gave four carts and eight oxen to the descendants of Merari, in the care of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest. He did this because of what their work required.
9 Ka ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Kohate naʻe ʻikai te ne foaki kiate kinautolu ha taha: koeʻuhi naʻe ʻiate kinautolu ʻae tauhi ʻoe faletapu ʻi heʻenau fua ia ki honau uma.
But he gave none of those things to the descendants of Kohath, because theirs would be the work related to the things that belong to Yahweh that they would carry on their own shoulders.
10 Pea naʻe feilaulau ʻae houʻeiki he fakatapui ʻae feilaulauʻanga ʻi he ʻaho naʻe pani ai ia, ʻio naʻe ʻange ʻe he houʻeiki ʻenau feilaulau ʻi he ʻao ʻoe feilaulauʻanga.
The leaders offered their goods for the dedication of the altar on the day that Moses anointed the altar. The leaders offered their sacrifices in front of the altar.
11 Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Sihova kia Mōsese, “ʻE ʻatu ʻe he houʻeiki ʻenau feilaulau ki he fakatapui ʻoe feilaulauʻanga, ʻo fai taki taha ʻi hono ʻaho.”
Yahweh said to Moses, “Each leader must offer on his own day his sacrifice for the dedication of the altar.”

On the first day, Nahshon son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah, offered his sacrifice.

He gave one gold dish that weighed ten shekels and was full of incense.

He gave as a burnt offering one young bull, one ram, and a one-year-old male lamb.

On the ninth day, Abidan son of Gideoni, leader of the descendants of Benjamin, offered his sacrifice.

His sacrifice was one silver platter weighing 130 shekels and one silver bowl weighing seventy shekels, by the standard weight of the sanctuary shekel. Both of these objects were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a grain offering.

He also gave one gold dish weighing ten shekels, full of incense.

Each silver platter weighed 130 shekels and each bowl weighed seventy shekels. All the silver vessels weighed 2,400 shekels, by the standard weight of the sanctuary shekel.
86 Ko e sēpuni koula ʻe hongofulu ma ua, naʻe pito ʻi he ʻakau namu kakala, ko hono mamafa taki taha [ko e sikeli ]ʻe hongofulu, ʻo fakatatau ki he sikeli ʻoe faletapu: ko e koula kotoa pē ʻoe ngaahi sēpuni [ko e sikeli ]ʻe teau ma uofulu.
Each of the twelve gold dishes, full of incense, weighed ten shekels by the standard weight of the sanctuary shekel. All the gold dishes weighed 120 shekels.
87 Ko e fanga pulu kotoa pē ki he feilaulau tutu ko e pulu ʻe hongofulu ma ua, ko e sipitangata ʻe hongofulu ma ua, ko e lami ʻoe ʻuluaki taʻu ʻe hongofulu ma ua, ʻo fakataha mo ʻenau feilaulau meʻakai: pea mo e ʻuhiki kosi ʻe hongofulu ma ua ki he feilaulau maʻae angahala.
They set apart all the animals for the burnt offerings, twelve bulls, twelve rams, and twelve year-old male lambs. They gave their grain offering. They gave twelve male goats as a sin offering.

From all their cattle, they gave twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty male goats, and sixty male lambs a year old, as the sacrifice for the fellowship offering. This was for the dedication of the altar after it was anointed.
89 Pea ʻi heʻene ʻalu ʻa Mōsese ki he fale fehikitaki ʻoe kakai ke lea ki he ʻOtua, naʻa ne fanongo ki he leʻo ʻoe tokotaha naʻe lea kiate ia mei he nofoʻanga ʻoe ʻaloʻofa ʻaia naʻe tuʻu ʻi he funga ʻoe puha ʻoe fuakava, mei he vahaʻa ʻoe ongo selupimi: pea naʻa ne folofola mai kiate ia.
When Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with Yahweh, he heard his voice speaking to him. Yahweh spoke to him from above the atonement lid on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim. He spoke to him.
