And it lifted up all the congregation and they gave forth voice their and they wept the people in the night that.

And they grumbled on Moses and on Aaron all [the] people of Israel and they said to them all the congregation if we had died in [the] land of Egypt or in the wilderness this if we had died.
3 Pea ko e hā kuo ʻomi ai ʻe Sihova ʻakimautolu ki he fonua ni, ke mau tō ʻi he heletā, kae tuku homau uaifi mo ʻemau fānau ke pōpula? ʻIkai ʻe lelei hake ʻemau toe foki ki ʻIsipite?”
And why? [is] Yahweh bringing us into the land this to fall by the sword wives our and little one[s] our they will become plunder ¿ not good for us [is] to return Egypt towards.

And they said to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel saying the land which we passed in it to spy out it [is] good the land very very.
8 Kapau ʻe fiemālie ʻa Sihova ʻiate kitautolu, pea te ne ʻave ʻakitautolu ki he fonua ko ia, ʻo foaki ia kiate kitautolu; ko e fonua ʻoku pito ʻi he huʻahuhu mo e honi.
If he delights in us Yahweh and he will bring us into the land this and he will give it to us a land which it [is] flowing of milk and honey.
9 Ke ʻoua pe naʻa mou angatuʻu kia Sihova, pea ʻoua naʻa mou manavahē ki he kakai ʻoe fonua; he ko e meʻakai maʻatautolu ʻakinautolu: kuo mole honau mālohi ʻiate kinautolu, pea ʻoku ʻiate kitautolu ʻa Sihova: ʻoua naʻa mou manavahē kiate kinautolu.”
Only against Yahweh may not you rebel and you may not you fear [the] people of the land for [will be] bread our they it has departed shade their from over them and Yahweh [is] with us may not you fear them.
10 Ka naʻe tala ʻe he kakai kotoa pē ke lisingi ʻakinaua ʻaki ʻae maka. Pea naʻe hā mai ʻae nāunau ʻo Sihova ʻi he fale fehikitaki ʻoe kakai ʻi he ʻao ʻoe fānau kotoa pē ʻa ʻIsileli.

And he said Yahweh to Moses until when? will they spurn me the people this and until when? not will they believe in me with all the signs which I did in midst its.
12 Te u taaʻi ʻaki ʻakinautolu ʻae mahaki fakaʻauha, pea te u liʻaki ʻakinautolu, pea te u ngaohi koe ko e puleʻanga lahi mo mālohi ʻiate kinautolu.”
I will strike it with pestilence and I will dispossess it and I may make you a nation great and mighty more than it.
13 Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Mōsese kia Sihova, “ʻE toki fanongo ki ai ʻae kakai ʻIsipite, (he naʻa ke ʻomi ʻi ho mālohi ʻae kakai ni meiate kinautolu; )
And he said Moses to Yahweh and they will hear Egypt that you brought up by strength your the people this from midst its.

And they will say to [the] inhabitant[s] of the land this they have heard that you O Yahweh [are] in [the] midst of the people this who eye in eye he was seen - you O Yahweh and cloud your [is] standing over them and in a pillar of cloud you [are] going before them by day and in a pillar of fire night.
And you will put to death the people this like a person one and they will say the nations which they have heard report your saying.
16 Koeʻuhi kuo ʻikai faʻa ʻomi ʻe Sihova ʻae kakai ni ki he fonua naʻa ne fuakava ai kiate kinautolu, ko ia kuo ne tāmateʻi ai ʻakinautolu ʻi he toafa.
Because not was able Yahweh to bring the people this into the land which he swore to them and he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.

26 Pea naʻe folofola ʻa Sihova kia Mōsese mo ʻElone, ʻo pehē,
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron saying.
27 “ʻE fēfē hono fai fuoloa ʻae kakai kovi ni, mo ʻenau lāunga kiate au? Kuo u fanongo ki he lāunga ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli, kuo nau lāunga ai kiate au.
Until when? to the congregation evil this which they [are] grumbling on me [the] grumblings of [the] people of Israel which they [are] grumbling on me I have heard.
28 Ke ke tala kiate kinautolu, ‘ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, ko e moʻoni ʻa ʻeku moʻui, pea te u fai kiate kimoutolu ʻo hangē ko hoʻomou lea ʻi hoku telinga:

If you you will go into the land which I lifted up hand my to cause to dwell you in it that except Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh and Joshua [the] son of Nun.

And they rose early in the morning and they went up to [the] top of the hill country saying here [are] we and we will go up to the place which he said Yahweh that we have sinned.
41 Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Mōsese, “Ko e hā eni ʻoku mou talangataʻa ai ki he fekau ʻa Sihova? Ka ʻe ʻikai monūʻia ia.
And he said Moses why? this [are] you transgressing [the] mouth of Yahweh and it not it will succeed.
42 ‌ʻOua naʻa mou ʻalu hake, he ʻoku ʻikai ʻiate kimoutolu ʻa Sihova; naʻa taaʻi ʻakimoutolu ʻi he ʻao ʻo homou ngaahi fili.

For the Amalekite[s] and the Canaanite[s] [are] there before you and you will fall by the sword for since you have turned back from after Yahweh and not he will be Yahweh with you.
44 Ka naʻa nau talangataʻa pe ʻonau ʻalu ki he tumutumu ʻoe moʻunga: ka ko e puha ʻoe fuakava ʻa Sihova, pea mo Mōsese, naʻe ʻikai ʻalu mei he ʻapitanga.
And they presumed to go up to [the] top of the hill country and [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and Moses not they departed from [the] midst of the camp.
