1 Pea naʻe nofo ʻi Selūsalema, ʻae kau pule ʻoe kakai: pea naʻe fai ʻae talotalo ʻe hono toe ʻoe kakai ke ʻomi ʻae tangata ʻe taha mei he toko hongofulu ke nofo ʻi Selūsalema, ko e kolo māʻoniʻoni, pea ke nofo ʻae vahe ʻe hiva ki he ngaahi kolo kehe.
And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.
2 Pea naʻe tāpuaki ʻe he kakai ʻae kau tangata kotoa pē, ʻaia naʻe ʻatu fiemālie pē ʻakinautolu ke nofo ʻi Selūsalema.
And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
3 Pea ko e kau tuʻukimuʻa eni ʻoe puleʻanga naʻe nofo ʻi Selūsalema: ka ʻi he ngaahi kolo ʻo Siuta naʻe nofo taki taha ʻi hono tofiʻa ʻi honau ngaahi kolo, ʻio, ʻa ʻIsileli, mo e kau taulaʻeiki, mo e kau Livai, mo e kau Netenimi, mo e fānau ʻae kau tamaioʻeiki ʻa Solomone.
Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants.
4 Pea naʻe nofo ʻi Selūsalema ʻae niʻihi ʻoe fānau ʻa Siuta, pea mo e fānau ʻa Penisimani. ʻI he fānau ʻa Siuta; ko ʻAtaia, ko e foha ʻo ʻUsia, ko e foha ʻo Sakalia, ko e foha ʻo ʻAmalia, ko e foha ʻo Sifatia, ko e foha ʻo Malelili, ʻi he fānau ʻa Pelesi;
And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez;

6 Ko e ngaahi foha kotoa pē ʻo Pelesi naʻe nofo ʻi Selūsalema naʻa nau toko fāngeau mo e tolungofulu ma valu ko e kau tangata toʻa mālohi.
All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.
7 Pea ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻo Penisimani; ko Selu ko e foha ʻo Mesulami, Ko e foha ʻo Soeti, ko e foha ʻo Pitaia, ko e foha ʻo Kolaia, ko e foha ʻo Maaseia, ko e foha ʻo Itieli, ko e foha ʻo Sisaia.
And these are the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah.

And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.

And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer: and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city.

Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin.
11 Ko Selaia ko e foha ʻo Hilikia, ko e foha ʻo Mesulami, ko e foha ʻo Satoki, ko e foha ʻo Milaioti, ko e foha ʻo ʻAhitupe, ko e pule ia ki he fale ʻoe ʻOtua.
Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was the ruler of the house of Elohim.
12 Pea ko honau kāinga ʻaia naʻe fai ʻae ngāue ʻoe fale naʻa nau toko valungeau mo e toko uofulu ma ua: mo ʻAtaia ko e foha ʻo Silohami, ko e foha ʻo Pelalia, ko e foha ʻo ʻAmisi, ko e foha ʻo Sakalia, ko e foha ʻo Pasuli, ko e foha ʻo Malikia,
And their brethren that did the work of the house were eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah,

And his brethren, chief of the fathers, two hundred forty and two: and Amashai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahasai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,

And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men.
15 Pea ʻi he kau Livai foki: ko Simaia ko e foha ʻo Hasupi, ko e foha ʻo ʻAsilikami, ko e foha ʻo Hasapea, ko e foha ʻo Puni;
Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;
16 Ko Sapitei, mo Sosapati, ko e tuʻukimuʻa ʻoe kau Livai, naʻe pule ʻakinaua ki he ngāue ʻituʻa ʻoe fale ʻoe ʻOtua.
And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of Elohim.
17 Ko Matania ko e foha ʻo Maika, ko e foha ʻo Sapiti, ko e foha ʻo ʻAsafi, ko e tuʻukimuʻa ia ke kamata ʻae fakafetaʻi ʻi he lotu: mo Pakipuki ko e toko ua ʻi hono ngaahi kāinga, mo ʻApita ko e foha ʻo Samua, ko e foha ʻo Kalali, ko e foha ʻo Situtuni.
And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
18 Ko e kau Livai kotoa pē ʻi he kolo māʻoniʻoni, ko e toko uangeau mo e toko valungofulu ma fā.
All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four.
19 Pea ko e kau leʻo matapā foki, ko ʻAkupi, mo Talimoni, mo hona ngaahi kāinga naʻe tauhi ʻae ngaahi matapā, naʻe toko teau ma fitungofulu ma ua.
Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundred seventy and two.
20 Pea ko hono toe ʻo ʻIsileli, ʻoe kau taulaʻeiki, mo e kau Livai, naʻe nofo ʻi he ngaahi kolo kotoa pē ʻo Siuta, ʻo taki taha kotoa pē ʻi hono tofiʻa.
And the residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.
21 Ka naʻe nofo ʻae kau Netenimi ʻi Ofili: pea ko Siha mo Kisipa naʻe pule ki he kakai Netenimi.
But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinims.
22 Pea ko e pule foki ki he kau Livai ʻi Selūsalema, ko Usi ko e foha ʻo Pani, ko e foha ʻo Hasapea, ko e foha ʻo Matania, ko e foha ʻo Maika. ʻI he ngaahi foha ʻo ʻAsafi, ko e kau hiva naʻa nau pule ki he ngāue ʻae fale ʻoe ʻOtua;
The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of Elohim.
23 He ko e fekau ʻae tuʻi kiate kinautolu, ke ʻai ʻae vāhenga ʻe taha maʻae kau hiva, ki he ʻaho taki taha.
For it was the king's commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.
24 Pea ko Pitaia ko e foha ʻo Mesesapeli, ʻi he fānau ʻa Sela ko e foha ʻo Siuta, naʻe tali fekau ʻe ia ki he tuʻi ʻi he ngaahi meʻa ʻoku kau ki he kakai.
And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people.
25 Pea koeʻuhi ko e ngaahi potu nofoʻanga kakai, mo ʻenau ngaahi ngoue, naʻe nofo ai ʻae fānau niʻihi ʻa Siuta ʻi Kesa-ʻAlipa, pea ʻi he ngaahi potu kakai ʻo ia, pea ki Tiponi, pea ʻi he ngaahi potu kakai ʻo ia, pea ʻi Sekapisili, pea ʻi he ngaahi potu kakai ʻo ia.
And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjath-arba, and in the villages thereof, and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages thereof,
26 Pea ʻi Sesua, pea ʻi Molata, pea ki Petefeleti.
And at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Beth-phelet,
27 Pea ʻi he kolo ko Suali, pea ʻi Peasipa, pea ʻi he ngaahi potu kakai ʻo ia,
And at Hazar-shual, and at Beer-sheba, and in the villages thereof,
28 Pea ʻi Sikilaki, pea ʻi Mikona; pea ʻi hono ngaahi potu kakai,
And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof,
29 Pea ʻi Eni-Limoni, pea ʻi Salia, pea ʻi Samuti,
And at En-rimmon, and at Zareah, and at Jarmuth,
30 Mo Sanoa, mo ʻAtulami, pea ʻi honau ngaahi potu kakai, ʻi Lakisi, pea ʻi he ngaahi tafangafanga ʻo ia, ʻi ʻAseka, pea ʻi he ngaahi potu kakai ʻo ia. Pea naʻa nau nofo mei Peasipa ʻo hoko ki he teleʻa ʻo Henomi.
Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beer-sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.

The children also of Benjamin from Geba dwelt at Michmash, and Aija, and Bethel, and in their villages,
32 Pea ʻi ʻAnatoti, mo Nopi, mo ʻAnania,
And at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33 Mo Hasoa, mo Lama, mo Kitimi,
Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34 Mo Hatiti, Sepoimi, Nepalata,
Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35 Mo Loti, mo Ono, ko e teleʻa ʻoe kau tufunga.
Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.
36 Pea naʻe ʻi Siuta mo Penisimani ʻae vāhenga ʻoe kau Livai.
And of the Levites were divisions in Judah, and in Benjamin.
