< Mātiu 24 >

1 Pea hū atu ʻa Sisu mei he falelotu lahi, pea haʻu ʻene kau ākonga ke fakahā kiate ia hono ngaahi potu ʻoe falelotu lahi.
And Iesus went out, and departed from the Temple, and his disciples came to him, to shewe him the building of the Temple.
2 Pea pehēange ʻe Sisu kiate kinautolu, “ʻIkai ʻoku mou mamata ki he ngaahi meʻa ni kotoa pē? ʻOku ou tala moʻoni atu kiate kimoutolu, ʻE ʻikai ʻi heni ha maka kuo fokotuʻu ki ha maka, ʻe taʻelaku ki lalo.”
And Iesus sayd vnto them, See ye not all these things? Verely I say vnto you, there shall not be here left a stone vpon a stone, that shall not be cast downe.
3 Pea ʻi heʻene nofo ʻi he moʻunga ʻoe ʻOlive, naʻe haʻu fakafufū ʻae kau ākonga kiate ia, ʻonau pehē, “Fakahā kiate kimautolu, ʻe hoko ʻafe ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni? Pea ko e hā ʻae fakaʻilonga ʻo hoʻo haʻu, pea mo e ngataʻanga ʻo māmani?” (aiōn g165)
And as he sate vpon the mount of Oliues, his disciples came vnto him apart, saying, Tell vs when these things shall be, and what signe shalbe of thy comming, and of the ende of the world. (aiōn g165)
4 Pea lea ʻa Sisu, ʻo pehēange kiate kinautolu, “Vakai telia naʻa kākaaʻi ʻakimoutolu ʻe ha tangata.
And Iesus answered, and sayd vnto them, Take heede that no man deceiue you.
5 Koeʻuhi ʻe haʻu ʻae tokolahi ʻi hoku hingoa, ʻo pehē, ‘Ko au ko e Kalaisi;’ pea ʻe kākaaʻi ʻae tokolahi:
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceiue many.
6 Pea te mou fanongo ki he ngaahi tau mo e ongoongo ʻoe tau: kaeʻoua naʻa mou manavahē: koeʻuhi ʻe hoko[eni ]kotoa pē, kae teʻeki hoko ʻae ngataʻanga.
And ye shall heare of warres, and rumours of warres: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to passe, but the end is not yet.
7 Koeʻuhi ʻe tuʻu hake ʻae kakai ki he kakai, mo e puleʻanga ki he puleʻanga: pea ʻe ai ʻae ngaahi honge, mo e mahaki lahi, mo e mofuike, ʻi he potu kehekehe.
For nation shall rise against nation, and realme against realme, and there shalbe famine, and pestilence, and earthquakes in diuers places.
8 Ka ko e ngaahi meʻa ni kotoa pē ko e kamataʻanga pe ʻoe ngaahi mamahi.
All these are but ye beginning of sorowes.
9 “Pea te nau toki tukuange ʻakimoutolu ke tautea, mo tāmateʻi ʻakimoutolu: pea ko e fehiʻanekina ʻakimoutolu ʻe he puleʻanga kotoa pē koeʻuhi ko hoku hingoa.
Then shall they deliuer you vp to be afflicted, and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations for my Names sake.
10 Pea ʻe toki hinga ai ʻae tokolahi, ʻo felavakiʻiʻaki ʻakinautolu, mo fetāufehiʻaʻaki.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 Pea tokolahi ʻae kau palōfita loi ʻe tupu ai, ʻonau kākaaʻi ʻae tokolahi.
And many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceiue many.
12 Pea ko e meʻa ʻi he lahi ʻaupito ʻoe angahala, ʻe momoko ai ʻae ʻofa ʻae tokolahi.
And because iniquitie shalbe increased, the loue of many shalbe colde.
13 Ka ko ia ʻe faʻa kātaki ʻo aʻu ki he ngataʻanga, ko ia ia ʻe moʻui.
But he that endureth to the ende, he shalbe saued.
14 Pea ko e ongoongolelei ni ʻoe puleʻanga ʻe malangaʻaki ʻi māmani kotoa pē, ko e meʻa fakamoʻoni ki he puleʻanga kotoa pē, pea ʻe toki hoko mai ʻae ikuʻanga.
And this Gospel of the kingdome shalbe preached through the whole world for a witnes vnto all nations, and then shall the end come.
15 “Ko ia ʻoka mou ka mamata ʻoku tuʻu ʻi he potu tapu, ʻae meʻa ‘fakalielia ʻoe fakaʻauha,’ naʻe lea ki ai ʻae palōfita ko Taniela,” (pea ko ia ʻoku ne lau ia, ke tokanga ia [ki ai]: )
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, set in the holy place (let him that readeth consider it.)
16 “Pea ke toki feholaki ki he ngaahi moʻunga ʻakinautolu ʻoku nofo ʻi Siutea:
Then let them which be in Iudea, flee into the mountaines.
17 Pea ko ia ʻoku ʻi he tuʻa fale, ke ʻoua naʻa ʻalu hifo ia, ke toʻo ha meʻa ʻe taha mei hono fale:
Let him which is on the house top, not come downe to fetch any thing out of his house.
18 Pea ko ia ʻoku ʻi he ngoue, ke ʻoua naʻa liu mai ia, ke toʻo hono ngaahi kofu.
And he that is in the fielde, let not him returne backe to fetch his clothes.
19 Ka ʻe malaʻia ʻakinautolu ʻoku feitama, mo kinautolu ʻoku toutama, ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho ko ia!
And woe shalbe to them that are with childe, and to them that giue sucke in those dayes.
20 Ka mou kole ke ʻoua naʻa hoko hoʻomou feholaki ʻi he faʻahitaʻu momoko, pe ʻi he ʻaho Sāpate:
But pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day.
21 Ka koeʻuhi ʻe toki hoko ʻae mamahi lahi, naʻe ʻikai hano tatau talu mei he kamataʻanga ʻo māmani, ʻo aʻu ki he ʻaho ni, pea ʻe ʻikai ʻo lauikuonga.
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not from the beginning of the worlde to this time, nor shalbe.
22 Pea kapau ʻe ʻikai fakasiʻisiʻi ki he ngaahi ʻaho ko ia, ʻe ʻikai moʻui ha tokotaha: ka koeʻuhi ko e kakai kuo fili ʻe fakasiʻisiʻi ai ʻae ngaahi ʻaho ko ia.
And except those dayes should be shortened, there should no flesh be saued: but for the elects sake those dayes shalbe shortened.
Then if any shall say vnto you, Loe, here is Christ, or there, beleeue it not.
24 Koeʻuhi ʻe ai ʻae ngaahi Kalaisi loi, mo e kau palōfita loi, ʻonau fakahā ʻae ngaahi fakaʻilonga lahi, mo e meʻa fakaofo: ke nau kākā ʻaki ʻae kakai kuo fili, ʻoka ne faingofua.
For there shall arise false Christes, and false prophets, and shall shewe great signes and wonders, so that if it were possible, they should deceiue the very elect.
25 Vakai, kuo u tomuʻa tala ia kiate kimoutolu.
Beholde, I haue tolde you before.
26 “Ko ia kapau te nau pehē kiate kimoutolu, ‘Vakai, ʻoku ʻi he toafa ia;’ ʻoua naʻa ʻalu atu: ‘Vakai, ʻoku ʻi he ngaahi potu lilo:’ ʻoua naʻa tui [ki ai].
Wherefore if they shall say vnto you, Beholde, he is in the desert, goe not forth: Beholde, he is in the secret places, beleeue it not.
27 He ʻoku hangē ko e ʻasi mai ʻoe ʻuhila mei he potu hahake, pea ulo ʻo aʻu ki he potu lulunga; ʻe pehē foki ʻae haʻu ʻae Foha ʻoe tangata.
For as the lightning commeth out of the East, and is seene into the West, so shall also the comming of the Sonne of man be.
28 “He ko e potu ko ia ʻoku ʻi ai ʻae ʻangaʻanga, ʻe kātoa ki ai ʻae fanga ʻikale foki.
For wheresoeuer a dead carkeis is, thither will the Egles be gathered together.
29 “Pea hili ʻae mamahi ʻoe ngaahi ʻaho ko ia ʻe fakapoʻuli leva ʻae laʻā, pea ʻe ʻikai ulo mai ʻae māhina, pea ʻe ngangana ʻae ngaahi fetuʻu mei he langi, pea ʻe ngalulu ʻae ngaahi mālohi ʻoe langi:
And immediatly after ye tribulations of those dayes, shall the sunne be darkened, and the moone shall not giue her light, and the starres shall fal from heauen, and ye powers of heaue shalbe shake.
30 Pea ʻe toki hā mai ʻae fakaʻilonga ʻoe Foha ʻoe tangata ʻi he langi: pea ʻe toki tangi ʻae ngaahi faʻahinga kotoa pē ʻo māmani, pea te nau mamata ki he Foha ʻoe tangata ʻoku haʻu ʻi he ngaahi ʻao ʻoe langi, ʻi he mālohi mo e nāunau lahi.
And then shall appeare the signe of the Sonne of man in heauen: and then shall all the kinreds of the earth mourne, and they shall see the Sonne of man come in the cloudes of heauen with power and great glorie.
31 Pea ʻe fekau ʻe ia ʻene kau ʻāngelo mo e meʻa lea leʻo lahi, pea te nau tānaki fakataha ʻene kakai kuo fili mei hono feituʻu langi ʻe fā, mei he ngataʻanga ʻe taha ʻoe langi ʻo aʻu ki he ngataʻanga ʻe taha.
And he shall send his Angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect, from the foure windes, and from the one ende of the heauens vnto the other.
32 “Pea mou tokanga ki he fakatātā ʻoe ʻakau ko e fiki: ʻOka kei litolito hono vaʻa, pea tupu hono lau, ʻoku mou ʻilo ʻoku ofi ʻae faʻahitaʻu mafana:
Now learne the parable of the figge tree: when her bough is yet tender, and it putteth foorth leaues, ye knowe that sommer is neere.
33 Pea pehē foki, ʻoka mou ka mamata ki he ngaahi meʻa ni kotoa pē, mou ʻilo ʻoku ofi ia, ʻio, ʻoku ʻi he matapā.
So likewise ye, when ye see all these things, know that the kingdom of God is neere, eue at ye doores.
34 ‌ʻOku ou tala moʻoni atu kiate kimoutolu, ʻE ʻikai ʻosi ʻae toʻutangata ni, kaeʻoua ke fakamoʻoni ʻa eni kotoa pē.
Verely I say vnto you, this generation shall not passe, till all these things be done.
35 ‌ʻE mole ʻae langi mo māmani, kae ʻikai mole ʻeku lea.
Heauen and earth shall passe away: but my wordes shall not passe away.
36 “Ka ko e ʻaho mo e feituʻulaʻā ko ia, ʻoku ʻikai ʻilo ki ai ha taha, pe [ʻilo ʻe ]he kau ʻāngelo ʻoe langi, ka ko ʻeku Tamai pe.
But of that day and houre knoweth no man, no not the Angels of heauen, but my father only.
37 Kae hangē ko e ngaahi ʻaho ʻo Noa, ʻe pehē pe foki ʻae haʻu ʻae Foha ʻoe tangata.
But as the dayes of Noe were, so likewise shall the comming of the Sonne of man be.
38 He koeʻuhi ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho naʻe muʻomuʻa ʻi he lōmaki naʻa nau kai mo inu, mo mali, mo foaki ke fakamaʻu, ʻo aʻu ki he ʻaho naʻe hū ai ʻa Noa ki he vaka,
For as in the dayes before the flood, they did eate and drinke, marrie, and giue in mariage, vnto the day that Noe entred into the Arke,
39 Pea naʻe ʻikai te nau ʻamanaki, mo ʻene hoko mai ʻae vai lahi, ʻo ʻave ʻakinautolu kotoa pē; ʻe pehē pe ʻae haʻu foki ʻae Foha ʻoe tangata.
And knewe nothing, till the flood came, and tooke them all away, so shall also the comming of the Sonne of man be.
40 ‌ʻE ʻi he ngoue ʻae toko ua; ʻe ʻave ʻae tokotaha, ka ʻe tuku ʻae tokotaha.
Then two shall be in the fieldes, the one shalbe receiued, and the other shalbe refused.
41 ‌ʻE ai ʻae fefine ʻe toko ua ʻoku ngāue ʻi he meʻa momosi; ʻe ʻave ʻae tokotaha, ka ʻe tuku ʻae tokotaha.
Two women shalbe grinding at ye mill: the one shalbe receiued, and the other shalbe refused.
42 “Ko ia leʻo: he ʻoku ʻikai te mou ʻilo ʻae feituʻulaʻā ko ia ʻe haʻu ai homou ʻEiki.
Watch therefore: for ye knowe not what houre your master will come.
43 Kae ʻilo eni, ka ne ʻilo ʻe he ʻeiki ʻoe fale ʻae lakanga leʻo ko ia ʻe haʻu ai ʻae kaihaʻa, [pehē], kuo ne leʻo, kae ʻikai tuku ke haea hono fale.
Of this be sure, that if the good man of the house knewe at what watch the thiefe would come, he woulde surely watch, and not suffer his house to be digged through.
44 Ko ia ke tali teu pe ʻakimoutolu foki: koeʻuhi ʻe haʻu ʻae Foha ʻoe tangata ʻi he feituʻulaʻā ʻoku ʻikai te mou ʻamanaki ki ai.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in the houre that ye thinke not, will the Sonne of man come.
45 “Pea ko hai ʻae tamaioʻeiki angatonu mo poto, kuo fakanofo ʻe heʻene ʻeiki ke pule ki hono kaungāʻapi, mo tufaki kiate kinautolu ʻae meʻakai ʻi hono taimi totonu?
Who then is a faithfull seruaunt and wise, whom his master hath made ruler ouer his household, to giue them meate in season?
46 ‌ʻOku monūʻia ʻae tamaioʻeiki ko ia, ʻoka haʻu ʻa ʻene ʻeiki, ʻo ʻilo ia ʻoku ne fai pehē.
Blessed is that seruant, whom his master when he commeth, shall finde so doing.
47 Ko ʻeku tala moʻoni atu kiate kimoutolu, te ne fakanofo ia ke ne puleʻi ʻene meʻa kotoa pē.
Verely I say vnto you, he shall make him ruler ouer all his goods.
48 Pea kapau ʻe pehē ʻe he tamaioʻeiki angakovi ʻi hono loto, ‘ʻOku fakatuai ne haʻu ʻa ʻeku ʻeiki;’
But if that euil seruant shall say in his heart, My master doth deferre his comming,
49 pea ne kamata teʻia ʻene kaungā tamaioʻeiki, pea kai ia mo inu fakataha mo e kau konā;
And begin to smite his fellowes, and to eate, and to drinke with the drunken,
50 ‌ʻE haʻu ʻae ʻeiki ʻae tamaioʻeiki ko ia, ʻi ha ʻaho ʻoku ʻikai te ne ʻamanekina, pea ʻi ha feituʻulaʻā ʻoku ʻikai te ne ʻilo,
That seruaunts master will come in a day, when he looketh not for him, and in an houre that he is not ware of,
51 Pea ʻe tuʻuua ia, ʻo tuʻutuʻuni ke ʻinasi fakataha ia mo e kau mālualoi: pea ʻe ʻi ai ʻae tangi mo e fengaiʻitaki ʻoe nifo.
And will cut him off, and giue him his portion with hypocrites: there shalbe weeping, and gnashing of teeth.
