1 Pea kapau ko ʻene feilaulau ko e feilaulau fakalelei, pea kapau ʻoku ʻatu ia mei he fanga manu lalahi; kapau ko ha tangata pe ha fefine, ʻe ʻatu ia, ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova taʻehanomele.
“And if his offering [is] a sacrifice of peace-offerings, if he is bringing near out of the herd, whether male or female, he brings a perfect one near before YHWH,
2 Pea ʻe hilifaki ʻe ia hono nima ki he ʻulu ʻo ʻene feilaulau, pea ʻe tāmateʻi ia ʻi he matapā ʻoe fale fehikitaki ʻoe kakai; pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo ʻElone ko e kau taulaʻeiki tenau luluku fakatakamilo ʻae feilaulauʻanga ʻaki ʻae toto.
and he has laid his hand on the head of his offering, and has slaughtered it at the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron, the priests, have sprinkled the blood around the altar.
3 Pea ʻe ʻatu ʻe ia ʻi he feilaulau ʻoe feilaulau fakalelei ʻae feilaulau kuo ngaohi ʻaki ʻae afi kia Sihova; ʻae punukete, mo e ngako kotoa pē ʻoku ʻi loto,
And he has brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to YHWH, the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
4 Pea mo e kofuua ʻe ua, mo e ngako ʻoku ʻi ai, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he ngutukete; pea ko e ʻahu ʻi ʻolunga ʻi he ʻate, mo e kofuua, ʻe toʻo ia ʻo ʻave.
and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
5 Pea ʻe tutu ia ʻe he ngaahi foha ʻo ʻElone, ʻi he funga feilaulauʻanga mo e feilaulau tutu, ʻaia kuo hili ki he fefie ʻoku ʻi he afi; ko e feilaulau [ia ]kuo ngaohi ʻaki ʻae afi, ko e meʻa namu kakala kia Sihova.
and sons of Aaron have made it an incense on the altar, on the burnt-offering which [is] on the wood, which [is] on the fire, [as] a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH.
6 Pea kapau ko ʻene feilaulau ko e feilaulau fakalelei kia Sihova, mei he fanga manu siʻi, ko e tangata pe ko e fefine, ʻe ʻatu ia taʻehanomele.
And if his offering [is] out of the flock for a sacrifice of peace-offerings to YHWH, male or female, he brings a perfect one near;
7 Kapau ʻoku ne ʻatu ha lami ko ʻene feilaulau, pehē te ne ʻatu ia ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova.
if he is bringing a sheep near [for] his offering, then he has brought it near before YHWH,
8 Pea ʻe hili ʻe ia hono nima ki he ʻulu ʻo ʻene feilaulau, pea ʻe tāmateʻi ia ʻi he mata fale fehikitaki ʻoe kakai, pea ʻe luluku takatakai ʻaki hono toto ʻae funga feilaulauʻanga ʻe he ngaahi foha ʻo ʻElone.
and has laid his hand on the head of his offering, and has slaughtered it before the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron have sprinkled its blood around the altar.
9 Pea ʻe ʻatu ʻe ia ʻi he feilaulau ʻoe fakalelei ʻae feilaulau kuo ngaohi ʻaki ʻae afi kia Sihova: ko hono ngako ʻo ia, mo hono iku kotoa ʻe toʻo ʻo motuhi mei he tuʻungaiku: mo e punukete, mo e ngako kotoa pē ʻoku ʻi loto,
And he has brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to YHWH, its fat, the whole fat tail close by the bone—he turns it aside, and the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
10 Mo e kofuua ʻe ua, mo e ngako ʻoku ʻi ai, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he ngutukete, mo e ʻahu ʻi ʻolunga ʻi he ʻate, mo e kofuua, ʻe toʻo ia ʻo ʻave.
and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
11 Pea ʻe tutu ia ʻe he taulaʻeiki ʻi he funga feilaulauʻanga: ko e meʻakai ia ʻoe feilaulau kuo ngaohi ʻaki ʻae afi kia Sihova.
and the priest has made it an incense on the altar [as] bread of a fire-offering to YHWH.
12 Pea kapau ko e kosi ʻa ʻene feilaulau, pea ʻe ʻatu ia ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova.
And if his offering [is] a goat, then he has brought it near before YHWH,
13 Pea ʻe hili ʻe ia hono nima ki hono ʻulu, ʻo tāmateʻi ia ʻi he mata fale fehikitaki ʻoe kakai: pea ʻe luluku takatakai ʻaki hono toto ʻo ia ʻe he ngaahi foha ʻo ʻElone ʻae funga feilaulauʻanga.

and he has brought his offering near from it, a fire-offering to YHWH, the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
15 Mo e kofuua ʻe ua, mo e ngako ʻoku ʻi ai, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he ngutukete, mo e ʻahu ʻi ʻolunga ʻi he ʻate, mo e kofuua, ʻe toʻo ia ʻo ʻave.

16 Pea ʻe tutu ia ʻe he taulaʻeiki ki he funga ʻoe feilaulauʻanga: ko e meʻakai ia ʻoe feilaulau kuo ngaohi ʻaki ʻae afi, ko e meʻa namu kakala: ʻoku ʻa Sihova ʻae ngako kotoa pē.
and the priest has made them an incense on the altar [as] bread of a fire-offering, for refreshing fragrance; all the fat [is] YHWH’s.
17 Ko e tuʻutuʻuni taʻengata ia ki homou ngaahi toʻutangata ʻi homou ngaahi nofoʻanga, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻa mou kai ngako pe ko e toto.
[This is] a continuous statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you do not eat any fat or any blood.”
