< Levitiko 18 >

1 Pea naʻe folofola ʻa Sihova kia Mōsese, ʻo pehē,
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 Lea ki he fānau ʻa ʻIsileli, ʻo pehē kiate kinautolu, “Ko au ko Sihova ko homou ʻOtua.
Speak to [the] people of Israel and you will say to them I [am] Yahweh God your.
3 ‌ʻOua naʻa mou fai ʻo hangē ko e faianga ʻae fonua ko ʻIsipite, ʻaia naʻa mou nofo ai: pea ʻe ʻikai te mou fai ʻo hangē ko e faianga ʻae fonua ko Kēnani, ʻaia te u ʻomi ʻakimoutolu ki ai; pea ʻoua naʻa mou ʻalu ʻi heʻenau ngaahi fekau.
According to [the] deed[s] of [the] land of Egypt which you dwelt in it not you will do and according to [the] deed[s] of [the] land of Canaan where I [am] about to bring you there towards not you will do and in statutes their not you will walk.
4 Ka mou fai ki heʻeku ngaahi fekau ʻo tauhi ʻeku ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni, ke fai ki ai; Ko au ko Sihova ko homou ʻOtua.
Judgments my you will do and statutes my you will keep by walking in them I [am] Yahweh God your.
5 Ko ia ke mou tauhi ʻeku ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni, mo ʻeku ngaahi fekau; ʻaia kapau ʻe fai ia ʻe ha tangata, ʻe moʻui ai ia: Ko au ko Sihova.”
And you will keep statutes my and judgments my which he will do them humankind and he will live by them I [am] Yahweh.
6 ʻOua naʻa ofi atu ha taha ʻiate kimoutolu ki ha tokotaha ʻoku kāinga moʻoni mo ia ko hono fakatelefuaʻi: Ko au ko Sihova.
A man a man to any relative of flesh his not you will draw near to uncover nakedness I [am] Yahweh.
7 Ko e telefua ʻo hoʻo tamai pe ko e telefua ʻo hoʻo faʻē ʻoua naʻa ke tatala: he ko hoʻo faʻē ia; ʻe ʻikai te ke fakatelefuaʻi ia.
[the] nakedness of Father your and [the] nakedness of mother your not you will uncover [is] mother your she not you will uncover nakedness her.
8 ‌ʻOua naʻa ke fakatelefua ʻae mali ʻo hoʻo tamai; he ko e telefua ia ʻo hoʻo tamai.
[the] nakedness of [the] wife of Father your not you will uncover [is] [the] nakedness of father your it.
9 ‌ʻOua naʻa ke fakatelefua ʻa ho tuofefine ko e ʻofefine ʻo hoʻo tamai, pe ko e tama ʻo hoʻo faʻē, pe kuo ne tupu ʻi ʻapi, pe tupu ʻi he mamaʻo, ʻoua naʻa ke tatala honau telefua.
[the] nakedness of Sister your [the] daughter of father your or [the] daughter of mother your one born of house or one born outside not you will uncover nakedness their.
10 ‌ʻOua naʻa ke fakatelefua ʻae ʻofefine ʻo ho foha, pe ko e tama ʻa ho ʻofefine; he ko honau telefua ko ho telefua ʻoʻou ia.
[the] nakedness of [the] daughter of Son your or [the] daughter of daughter your not you will uncover nakedness their for [are] own nakedness your they.
11 Pea ko e telefua ʻoe tama ʻae mali ʻo hoʻo tamai, kuo tupu ʻi hoʻo tamai, ko hoʻo tuofefine ia, ʻoua naʻa ke fakatelefua ia.
[the] nakedness of [the] daughter of [the] wife of Father your one born of father your [is] sister your she not you will uncover nakedness her.
12 ‌ʻOua naʻa ke fakatelefua ʻae tuofefine ʻo hoʻo tamai: he ko e kāinga fefine ofi ia ʻo hoʻo tamai.
[the] nakedness of [the] sister of Father your not you will uncover [is] a relative of father your she.
13 ‌ʻOua naʻa ke fakatelefua ʻae tokoua ʻo hoʻo faʻē: he ko e kāinga fefine ofi ia ʻo hoʻo faʻē.
[the] nakedness of [the] sister of Mother your not you will uncover for [is] a relative of mother your she.
14 ‌ʻOua naʻa ke fakatelefua ʻae tokoua ʻo hoʻo tamai; ʻoua naʻa ke ʻunuʻunu ʻo ofi ki hono mali; he ko ho mehikitanga ia,
[the] nakedness of [the] brother of Father your not you will uncover to wife his not you will draw near [is] aunt your she.
15 ‌ʻOua naʻa ke fakatelefua ʻa ho ʻofefine ʻi he fono: he ko e mali ia ʻo ho foha; ʻoua naʻa ke fakatelefua ia.
[the] nakedness of Daughter-in-law your not you will uncover [is] [the] wife of son your she not you will uncover nakedness her.
16 ‌ʻOua naʻa ke fakatelefua ʻae mali ʻo ho tokoua: he ko e telefua ʻo ho tokoua ia.
[the] nakedness of [the] wife of Brother your not you will uncover [is] [the] nakedness of brother your it.
17 ‌ʻOua naʻa ke fakatelefua ha fefine mo ʻene tama, pea ʻoua naʻa ke ʻave ʻae ʻofefine ʻo ʻene tama, pe ko e tama ʻa ʻene tama, ke fakatelefua ia; he ko hono kāinga fefine ofi ʻakinautolu; ko e meʻa kovi ia.
[the] nakedness of A woman and daughter her not you will uncover [the] daughter of son her and [the] daughter of daughter her not you will take to uncover nakedness her [are] relative[s] they [is] wickedness it
18 Pea ʻoua naʻa ke mali mo e tokoua ʻo ho mali ke fakamamahi ʻaki ia, mo fakatelefua ia ʻi heʻene kei moʻui ʻaʻana.
and a woman to sister her not you will take to make [her] a rival wife to uncover nakedness her with her in life her.
19 Pea ʻoua naʻa ke ʻunuʻunu ʻo ofi ki ha fefine ke fakatelefua ia, lolotonga kuo vaheʻi ia ʻi heʻene taʻemaʻa.
And to a woman in [the] menstruous impurity of uncleanness her not you will draw near to uncover nakedness her.
20 Pea ʻoua foki naʻa ke mohe angahala mo e uafi ʻo ho kaungāʻapi, ke fakaʻuliʻi koe mo ia.
And to [the] wife of fellow citizen your not you will give copulation your for seed to be unclean by her.
21 Pea ʻoua naʻa ke tuku ke ʻalu ʻa ho hako ʻi he afi kia Moleki, pea ʻoua naʻa ke fakaongokovi ʻae huafa ʻo ho ʻOtua; Ko au ko Sihova.
And any of offspring your not you will give to make pass to Molech and not you will profane [the] name of God your I [am] Yahweh.
22 ‌ʻOua naʻa ke mohe mo ha tangata ʻo hangē ko e mohe mo e fefine: ko e meʻa fakalielia ia.
And a male not you will lie with [the] lyings of a woman [is] an abomination it.
23 Pea ʻe ʻikai te ke mohe mo ha manu ke fakaʻuliʻi koe ʻi ai: pea ʻoua naʻa tuʻu ha fefine ʻi he ʻao ʻoe manu ke tokoto ki ai: ko e meʻa kovi fakaʻulia ia.
And in any animal not you will give copulation your to be unclean by it and a woman not she will stand before an animal to stretch out with it [is] confusion it.
24 ‌ʻOua naʻa mou fakalieliaʻi ʻakimoutolu ʻi ha ngaahi meʻa pehē: he ʻoku ʻuliʻi ʻi he ngaahi meʻa ni ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga ʻaia ʻoku ou kapusi mei homou ʻao:
May not you defile yourselves by all these [things] for by all these [things] they have made themselves unclean the nations which I [am] about to send away from before you.
25 ‌ʻOku fakalieliaʻi ʻae fonua: ko ia ʻoku ou totongi ki ai ʻene hia, pea ʻoku lua ʻaki foki ʻe he fonua ko ia ʻa hono kakai.
And it became unclean the land and I visited iniquity its on it and it vomited up the land inhabitants its.
26 Ko ia te mou tauhi ʻeku ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni mo ʻeku ngaahi fekau, pea ʻoua naʻa mou fai ha meʻa ʻe taha ʻi he ngaahi meʻa fakalielia ni, ʻe ha tokotaha ʻi homou puleʻanga, pe ha muli, ʻoku ʻāunofo ʻiate kimoutolu.
And you will keep you statutes my and judgments my and not you will do any of all the abominations these the native-born and the sojourner who sojourns in midst of you.
27 (He ko e ngaahi meʻa fakalielia ni kuo fai ʻe he kau tangata ʻoe fonua, pea kuo pani ʻuli fōfō ʻae fonua: )
For all the abominations these they did [the] people of the land who [were] before you and it became unclean the land.
28 Telia naʻa lua ʻaki ʻakimoutolu foki ʻe he fonua, ʻo hangē ko ʻene lua ʻaki kituʻa ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga naʻe muʻomuʻa ʻiate kimoutolu.
And not it will vomit up the land you when make unclean you it just as it vomited up the nation which [was] before you.
29 He ko ia ʻe fai ha meʻa ʻi he ngaahi meʻa fakalielia ni, ʻio, ko e laumālie ʻe fai ia ʻe motuhi ia mei hono kakai.
For every [one] who he will do any of all the abominations these and they will be cut off the persons who do [them] from among people their.
30 Ko ia te mou tauhi ai ʻeku ngaahi fekau, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻa mou fai ha meʻa ʻe taha ʻi he ngaahi anga fakalielia ni, ʻaia naʻe fai ʻi muʻa ʻi homou ʻao, pea ke ʻoua naʻa mou ʻuliʻi ʻakimoutolu ʻi ai: Ko au ko Sihova ko homou ʻOtua.
And you will keep duty my to not to do any of [the] customs of the abominations which they have been done before you and not you will make yourselves unclean by them I [am] Yahweh God your.
