And the sones of Israel addiden to do yuel in the `siyt of the Lord, aftir the deeth of Aioth.
2 Pea naʻe fakatau ʻakinautolu ʻe Sihova ki he nima ʻo Sapini, ko e tuʻi ʻo Kēnani, ʻaia naʻe pule ʻi Hasoa; ko e ʻeiki ʻoe tau ʻaʻana ko Sisela, ʻaia naʻe nofo ʻi Haloseti ʻoe ngaahi kolo taʻelotu.
And the Lord bitook hem in to the hondis of Jabyn, kyng of Canaan, that regnede in Asor; and he hadde a duyk of his oost, Sisara bi name; and he dwellide in Aroseth of hethene men.
3 Pea naʻe tangi ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli kia Sihova: he naʻe ʻiate ia ʻae saliote ʻaione ʻe hivangeau; pea naʻa ne fakamamahi lahi ki he fānau ʻa ʻIsileli ʻi he taʻu ʻe uofulu.
And the sones of Israel crieden to the Lord; for he hadde nyn hundrid yrone charis, keruynge as sithis, and twenti yeer he oppresside hem greetli.
4 Pea ko Tepola, ko e fefine palōfita, ko e uaifi ʻo Lapetoti, naʻa ne fakamaauʻi ʻa ʻIsileli ʻi he kuonga ko ia.
Forsothe Delbora was a prophetesse, the wijf of Lapidoth, which Delbora demyde the puple in that tyme;
5 Pea naʻe nofo ia ʻi he lolo ponga, ʻi he vahaʻa ʻo Lama mo Peteli ʻi he moʻunga ʻo ʻIfalemi: pea naʻe ʻalu hake kiate ia ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli ki he fakamaau.
and sche sat vndur a palm tree, that was clepid bi her name, bitwixe Rama and Bethel, in the hil of Effraym; and the sones of Israel stieden to hir at ech dom.
6 Pea naʻe fekau ʻe ia ʻo ui kia Pelaki ko e foha ʻo ʻApinoami mei Ketesi-Nafitali, ʻo ne pehē kiate ia, “ʻIkai kuo fekau ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua ʻo ʻIsileli, ʻo pehē, ‘ʻAlu ʻo ʻunuʻunu atu ki he moʻunga ko Tepoa, pea ke ʻave ʻae kau tangata ʻe toko mano ʻi he fānau ʻa Nafitalai pea ʻi he fānau ʻa Sepuloni?
And sche sente, and clepide Barach, the sone of Abynoen, of Cedes of Neptalym, and sche seide to hym, The Lord God of Israel comaundide to thee, Go thou, and lede an oost in to the hil of Thabor, and thou schalt take with thee ten thousande `of fiyteris of the sones of Neptalym and of the sones of Zabulon.
7 Pea te u toho ki he vaitafe ko Kisoni ʻa Sisela, ko e ʻeikitau ʻoe kautau ʻo Sapini, mo ʻene ngaahi saliote mo hono fuʻu kakai; pea te u tukuange ia ki ho nima.’”
Sotheli Y schal brynge to thee, in the place of the stronde of Cison, Sisara, prince of `the oost of Jabyn, and his charis, and al the multitude; and Y schal bitake hem in thin hond.
8 Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Pelaki kiate ia, “Kapau te ta ō mo koe, pea te u ʻalu: pea kapau ʻe ʻikai te ta ō mo koe, pea ʻe ʻikai te u ʻalu.”
And Barach seide to hir, If thou comest with me, Y schal go; if thou nylt come with me, Y schal not go.
9 Pea pehē ʻe ia, “Te ta ō moʻoni mo koe: ka ko e moʻoni ko e fononga ni ʻoku ke ʻalu ai ʻe ʻikai te ke ongolelei ai koe; koeʻuhi ʻe fakatau ʻe Sihova ʻa Sisela ki he nima ʻo ha fefine.” Pea naʻe tuʻu hake ʻa Tepola, ʻo na ō mo Pelaki ki Ketesi.
And sche seyde to hym, Sotheli Y schal go with thee; but in this tyme the victorie schal not be arettide to thee; for Sisara schal be bitakun in the hond of a womman. Therfor Delbora roos, and yede with Barach in to Cedes.
10 Pea naʻe ui ʻe Pelaki ke haʻu ki Ketesi ʻa Sepuloni mo Nafitalai; pea naʻe ʻalu hake ia mo e kau tangata ʻe tokotaha mano naʻe muimui ʻiate ia: pea naʻe ʻalu hake ʻa Tepola mo ia.
And whanne Zabulon and Neptalym weren clepid, he stiede with ten thousynde of fiyteris, and hadde Delbora in his felouschipe.
11 Pea ko Hepa ko e tangata Kena, ʻaia naʻe ʻi he fānau ʻa Hopapi ko e tamai ʻi he fono ʻa Mōsese, kuo ne fakamavahe ia mei he kau Kena, ʻo ne fokotuʻu hono fale fehikitaki ʻi he toafa ko Seaneimi, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi Ketesi.
Forsothe Aber of Cyneth hadde departid sum tyme fro othere Cyneys hise britheren, sones of Obab, `alie of Moises; and he hadde set forth tabernaclis `til to the valei, which is clepid Sennym, and was bisidis Cedes.
12 Pea naʻa nau fakahā kia Sisela ʻae ʻalu hake ʻa Pelaki ko e foha ʻo ʻApinoami ki he moʻunga ko Tepoa.
And it was teld to Sisara, that Barach, sone of Abynoen, hadde stiede in to the hil of Thabor.
13 Pea naʻe tānaki fakataha ʻe Sisela ʻa ʻene ngaahi saliote ʻaione ʻe hivangeau, pea mo e kakai kotoa pē naʻe ʻiate ia, mei Haloseti ʻoe ngaahi kolo taʻelotu ʻo ʻalu ki he vai lahi ʻo Kisoni.
And he gaderide nyn hundrid yronne charis, keruynge as sithis, and al the oost fro Aroseth of hethene men to the stronde of Cison.
14 Pea pehē ʻe Tepola kia Pelaki, “Tuʻu hake, he ko e ʻaho ko eni kuo tukuange ʻe Sihova ʻa Sisela ki ho nima: ʻikai kuo ʻalu muʻomuʻa ʻa Sihova ʻiate koe?” Ko ia naʻe ʻalu hifo ai ʻa Pelaki mei he moʻunga ko Tepoa, pea muimui ʻiate ia ʻae kau tangata ʻe tokotaha mano.
And Delbora seide to Barach, Rise thou, for this is the day, in which the Lord bitook Sisara in to thin hondis; lo! the Lord is thi ledere. And so Barach cam doun fro the hil of Thabor, and ten thousynde of fyyteris with hym.
15 Pea naʻe veuveuki ʻe Sihova ʻa Sisela mo ʻene ngaahi saliote, mo ʻene tau kotoa pē, ʻaki ʻae mata ʻoe heletā ʻi he ʻao ʻo Pelaki: ko ia naʻe hifo ai ʻa Sisela mei heʻene saliote, pea hola ʻi hono vaʻe ke mamaʻo.
And the Lord made aferd Sisara, and alle `the charis of hym, and al the multitude, bi the scharpnesse of swerd, at the siyt of Barach, in so myche that Sisara lippide doun of the chare, and fledde `a foote.
16 Ka naʻe tuli ʻe Pelaki ki he ngaahi saliote, mo e tau, ki Haloseti ʻoe ngaahi kolo taʻelotu: pea naʻe tō ʻae tau kotoa pē ʻa Sisela ki he mata ʻoe heletā: pea naʻe ʻikai fakatoe ha tangata.
And Barach pursuede the charis fleynge and the oost `til to Aroseth of hethene men; and al the multitude of enemyes felde doun `til to deeth.
17 Ka ko e moʻoni naʻe hola ke mamaʻo ʻa Sisela ʻi hono vaʻe ki he fale ʻo Saeli ko e uaifi ʻo Hepa ko e tangata Kena; he naʻe melino ʻa Sapini ko e tuʻi ʻo Hasoa mo e fale ʻo Hepa ko e tangata Kena.
Sotheli Sisara fledde, and cam to the tente of Jahel, the wijf of Aber Cyney; forsothe pees waas bitwixe Jabyn, kyng of Asor, and bitwixe the hows of Aber Cyney.
18 Pea naʻe ʻalu kituʻa ʻa Saeli ke fakafetaulaki kia Sisela, ʻo ne pehē kiate ia, “Afe mai, ʻE hoku ʻeiki, afe mai kiate au; ʻoua naʻa manavahē.” Pea ʻi heʻene afe kiate ia ki he fale naʻa ne ʻufiʻufi ʻaki ʻe ia ia ʻae pulupulu.
Therfor Jahel yede out in to the comyng of Sisara, and seide to hym, My lord, entre thou to me, entre thou to me; drede thou not. And he entride in to `the tabernacle of hir, and was hilid of hir with a mentil.
19 Pea pehē ʻe ia kiate ia, “ʻOku ou kole kiate koe, tuku mai ha vai siʻi ke u inu; he ʻoku ou fieinua.” Pea naʻe toʻo ʻe ia ʻae hina huʻahuhu, ʻo ne ʻatu ia ke ne inu, pea ʻufiʻufi ʻe ia ia.
And he seide to hir, Y biseche, yyue `thou to me a litil of watir, for Y thirste greetli. And sche openyde a `botel of mylk, and yaf to hym to drynke, and hilide hym.
20 Pea toe lea ʻe ia kiate ia, “Tuʻu ʻi he matapā ʻoe fale, pea ʻe pehē, kapau ʻe haʻu ha tangata ʻo fehuʻi kiate koe, ʻo pehē, “ʻOku ʻi heni ha tangata,” pea ke pehē ai ʻe koe, “ʻOku ʻikai.”
And Sisara seide to hir, Stonde thou bifor the dore of the tabernacle, and whanne ony man cometh, and axith thee, and seith, Whether ony man is here? thou schalt answere, No man is here.
21 Pea naʻe toʻo ʻe Saeli ko e uaifi ʻo Hepa ʻae faʻo ʻoe fale, pea toʻo ʻae hamala ʻi hono nima, pea naʻe ʻalu fakaʻeteʻete ia kiate ia, pea tuki ʻae faʻo ki hono ʻulu ke ʻasi ʻo fakamaʻu ʻaki ia ki he kelekele: he naʻe maʻu pe ʻene mohe, pea naʻa ne ongosia. Pea naʻe mate ai ia.
And so Jahel, the wijf of Aber, took a nayl of the tabernacle, and sche took also an hamer; and sche entride pryueli, and puttide with silence the nail on the temple of his heed, and sche fastnede the nail smytun with the hamer in to the brayn, `til to the erthe; and he slepte, and diede to gidere, and failide, and was deed.
22 Pea vakai, ʻi he tuli ʻe Pelaki ʻa Sisela, naʻe ʻalu kituʻa ʻa Saeli ke fakafetaulaki kiate ia, ʻo ne pehē kiate ia, “Haʻu, pea te u fakahā kiate koe ʻae tangata ʻoku ke kumi.” Pea ʻi heʻene hū mo ia, vakai, kuo tuku ʻi ai ʻa Sisela kuo mate, pea naʻe ʻi hono ʻulu ʻae faʻo.
And lo! Barach suede Sisara, `and cam; and Jahel yede out in to his comyng, and seide to hym, Come, and Y schal schewe to thee the man, whom thou sekist. And whanne he hadde entrid to hir, he siy Sisara liggynge deed, and a nail fastnede in to hise templis.
23 Naʻe pehē ʻae fakavaivai ʻe he ʻOtua ʻi he ʻaho ko ia ʻa Sapini ko e tuʻi ʻo Kēnani ʻi he ʻao ʻoe fānau ʻa ʻIsileli.
Therfor in that day God `made low Jabyn, the kyng of Canaan, bifor the sones of Israel;
24 Pea naʻe fakamonūʻia ʻo mālohi ʻae nima ʻoe fānau ʻa ʻIsileli kia Sapini ko e tuʻi ʻo Kēnani, ʻo aʻu ki heʻenau fakaʻauha ʻa Sapini ko e tuʻi ʻo Kēnani.
whiche encresiden ech dai, and with strong hond oppressiden Jabyn, the kyng of Canaan, til thei diden hym awey.
