1 Ko e ngaahi tuʻi eni ʻoe fonua, ʻaia naʻe taaʻi ʻe he fānau ʻa ʻIsileli, ʻonau maʻu honau fonua ʻi he kauvai ʻe taha ʻo Sioatani ʻo hanga ki he hopoʻangalaʻā, mei he vaitafe ko ʻAlanoni ʻo aʻu ki he moʻunga ko Heamoni, pea mo e toafa kotoa pē ʻi he potu hahake:

Now these [are] the kings of the land, whom the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side of Jordan towards the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon, to mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:

2 Ko Sihoni ko e tuʻi ʻoe kau ʻAmoli, ʻaia naʻe nofo ʻi Hesiponi, pea pule ʻe ia mei ʻAloeli, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he ngutu vaitafe ko ʻAlanoni, pea mei he vaeuaʻanga mālie ʻoe vaitafe, pea mei hono vaeuaʻanga ʻo Kiliati, ʻo aʻu ki he vaitafe ko Sapoki, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he veʻe fonua ʻoe fānau ʻa ʻAmoni:

Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, [and] ruled from Aroer, which [is] upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even to the river Jabbok, [which is] the border of the children of Ammon;

And from the plain to the sea of Cinneroth on the east, and to the sea of the plain, [even] the salt sea on the east, the way to Beth-jeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdoth-pisgah:

And the coast of Og king of Bashan, [who was] of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,

5 Pea naʻe pule ia ʻi he moʻunga ko Heamoni, pea ʻi Salika, pea ʻi Pesani kotoa pē, ʻo aʻu ki he ngataʻanga ʻoe fonua ʻoe kau Kesuli mo e kau Meekati, mo hono vaeuaʻanga ʻa Kiliati, ko e ngataʻanga ʻo Sihoni ko e tuʻi ʻo Hesiponi.

And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, to the border of the Geshurites, and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

6 Naʻe teʻia ʻakinautolu ʻe Mōsese ko e tamaioʻeiki ʻa Sihova mo e fānau ʻa ʻIsileli: pea naʻe foaki ia ʻe Mōsese ko e tamaioʻeiki ʻa Sihova ki he faʻahinga ʻo Lupeni, mo e faʻahinga ʻo Kata, mo hono vaeuaʻanga ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Manase ko honau tofiʻa.

Them did Moses the servant of the LORD, and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it [for] a possession to the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

7 Pea ko e ngaahi tuʻi eni ʻoe fonua ʻaia naʻe taaʻi ʻe Siosiua mo e fānau ʻa ʻIsileli, ʻi he potu ni ʻo Sioatani ʻi he lulunga, mei Peali kata ʻi he teleʻa ʻo Lepanoni ʻo aʻu ki he moʻunga ko Halaki, ʻaia ʻoku ʻalu hake ki Seia; ʻaia naʻe foaki ʻe Siosiua ki he ngaahi faʻahinga ʻo ʻIsileli ko honau tofiʻa ʻo fakatatau ki honau ngaahi vahe;

And these [are] the kings of the country whom Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side of Jordan on the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon, even to the mount Halak that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave to the tribes of Israel [for] a possession according to their divisions;

In the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:

9 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Seliko, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻAi, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he potu ʻo Peteli, ko e taha;

The king of Jericho one; the king of Ai, which [is] beside Beth-el, one;

10 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Selūsalema, ko e taha ko e tuʻi ʻo Hepeloni, ko e taha:

The king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

11 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Samuti, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo Lakisi, ko e taha;

The king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

12 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Ekeloni, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo Kesa, ko e taha;

The king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

13 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Tipa, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo Kita, ko e taha;

The king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;

14 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Hoama, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻAlati, ko e taha;

The king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;
